The bed was SO SO comfy, it was like sleeping in a cloud. That was my favorite part of the whole trip. The bathroom area was clean and spacious too. I don't love the half shower door, which seems to be a big trend in hotels these days. I literally freeze taking a shower lol. But the water pressure was great! Front desk gal was lovely and told me how to catch the free bus across the street to downtown. It is a 30 min bus or uber $20. This Sheraton is a lovely convenient place to stay and has a restaurant. Across the street is a grocery store and 5-7 eateries! They will shuttle you over.

In the morning, the shower didn't have hot water. I was packing up at 10:00 and took one last trip to the bathroom before my road trip and no water flowed from the sink. As I left, I let the front desk agent (same person as the night before know) and she apologized. Only as I walked out of the back door did I see the sign that said the water was being cut off at 10:00 am to do repairs. While I appreciate that sign, something slid under guest room doors would have been better as not everyone leaves their rooms before checkout (especially at a property where breakfast isn't included). Overall, my stay was ok but I likely wouldn't return to this property.

Upon arrival I called and had a shuttle at the airport in about 15 minutes. Mrs. Carrie (not sure on spelling) picked me up and was an amazingly kind lady. He provided info that I asked for about the area and was also very kind. My first night I walked across the street to "Mexico Restaurant" and food was pretty good. The next morning I made a typical hotel breakfast shown in the photo. Aside from this - the room was nice and most of my time was working away. I had breakfast and used the treadmill and finished the night in my room. Room felt clean, noise level was better than some of my stays, food was good, service was great. I believe you get the energy you put out and this was a positive week. If you're flying to the Richmond airport and need a place to stay nearby, this is a great spot (or the other Marriott in the same parking lot, that also looked nice).
