We asked the desk for more who gave us a RBF and said that's all we get and house keeping is every other day. After being told that, a Lakisha (?) texted us from the desk asking if we need anything. We said towels. She said "ok" and more came. Weird. Breakfast wasn't bad. They were out of the waffle batter within the first 15 minutes and no one was around to fill it up. Noise level is pretty loud with not just the airport being by (expected) but the at home store across the parking lot unloading and reloading.

First time at this Hampton Inn property by the Richmond airport. The price was right, but not the…read morequality. I have given few sub par reviews of any Hilton properties over the years. So this was disappointing. Parking was plentiful, but likely because they were not fully booked. No debris on my walk up to check in. The male staff was professional and friendly. He did explain breakfast times etc. However he forgot to acknowledge me as a Diamond Member and provide water until asked. The lobby was clean and presented well. The key to my room accessed the room. My Queen size bed was adequate and room clean. It was obviously dated, but that alone did not sink my review whatsoever. However the ripped curtains contributed to the low review. Also the bathroom wall paper was stained. The shower although clean needed fresh caulk. Everything worked and proper towels supplied. Best thing about the room is the AC got cold. I did utilize the breakfast a few times and it was subpar. No yogurt, no milk and one morning no coffee or eggs. That's unacceptable. The fried up sausage they had one morning was yum. Checkout was smooth and a hard copy receipt provided upon request. Upon exiting the outside trash was overflowing. I walked back in to alert the front desk. I spent about 15 minutes in my car texting and upon departure the trash was still in need of attention. A 2.5 rounding down.

I'm so super annoyed when I have a call to the front desk and ask where their secret button is to…read moreturn off the lights behind the bed. I initially thought, oh that's so cute. They have a black lighting behind the headboard. Until I try to go to bed and I turned off every light switch in the room and nothing turned it had to call the front desk. They showed me where their stupid secret button was to turn off the back lighting of the headboard. The mattress is okay it's capable mostly comfortable The pillows are lack luster. They are all actually feather pillows which are lovely. There's no substance to the pillow they are all like sleeping on a very flat down item. Sorry, I'm trying to be politically correct in today's age without offending any of the people they get butt hurt. Overall, the hotel is nice. The refrigerator will not keep your food cold at all. Do not depend on it. You're better off carrying a little medicinal ice pack and refilling it at the machine to keep your food cold because the refrigerate hair it will keep your shit lukewarm, at best on its coldest setting. The perks they do have a refrigerator that's not working, but they have one They also have a microwave which is an excellent perk the Mr. Coffee machine and the Royal Café coffee our lack Leicester and make me think of about Walmart. Where we go to make good deals without good taste. The television it's a decent size you do have to turn it up to 60 to be able to hear it but I also don't know you change the settings to make it a little more audio clear I will not complain at all about the air conditioning if you're a person that likes the air conditioning super cool this air-conditioning is lovely it's probably my only favourite feature of this hotel I like hotel that does not lock out your air conditioner or have a little stupid sensor that goes hey I'm awake. I don't wanna wake up every two hours and wave in front of the air-conditioner to show it that I'm in the room. This is a hotel that does not do that if you put your stuff on 65, you actually really do get like 65. The perfect sleeping temperature. The view from the second floor it's lacklustre I get to look at other peoples cars. Not much of you here. Breakfast do not expect a free one it's all charged and not cheap are used to expect so much more from Sheraton. But now you get a worse than shit breakfast that you pay for I don't recommend it. You can walk a couple miles and get a breakfast that's way better. And after showering, I don't like their soaps at all now I smell like a man and I'm a lady why would you put a very manly soap conditioner, shampoo hand soap that's super manly? You could go with something super neutral like lemon grass and things or something else super neutral like vanilla. I don't wanna smell like man sex I will definitely bring all of my own products coming here because they suck

As a Marriott member, the Courtyard does the basics of what I need in a hotel and this location…read morefits that to a T. Located by the airport, I was given a room with a comfy bed, a working desk, tv, and clean bathroom. Hotel has typical amenities of a workout room, indoor pool, and lounge area. No complimentary breakfast FYI. If you're gonna get the shuttle to the airport, make sure you call and be where you're supposed to be which is down further on the right when you exit. I though they had forgot about me when I called until they showed up 30 minutes later. It was early afternoon so didn't miss too much time but had it been at night, I'd probably give a weaker review.

For example, the soap/shampoo holder in the shower was rusty as was the rail to the closet door. But the furniture was newer and nice. I tried to get a cup of coffee for breakfast, but the lady who seemed to be managing the bistro seemed to be spending most of her time in the back room. When she finally surfaced, I attempted to get coffee, but she was not able to look up from the cash register to acknowledge me. No coffee for me. Day 2, I talked to the bistro dominatrix today, but no coffee for me. She had to grind beans and forgot about me. The beds are comfy, and great pillows. The hot water for the shower isn't hot.

Upon arrival I called and had a shuttle at the airport in about 15 minutes. Mrs. Carrie (not sure on spelling) picked me up and was an amazingly kind lady. She made me feel like I was family and you can tell it is who she is, a kind and caring person. Ben helped me get checked in, and I was setup for my stay. He provided info that I asked for about the area and was also very kind. My first night I walked across the street to "Mexico Restaurant" and food was pretty good. The next morning I made a typical hotel breakfast shown in the photo. Aside from this - the room was nice and most of my time was working away. I had breakfast and used the treadmill and finished the night in my room. Room felt clean, noise level was better than some of my stays, food was good, service was great. I believe you get the energy you put out and this was a positive week. If you're flying to the Richmond airport and need a place to stay nearby, this is a great spot (or the other Marriott in the same parking lot, that also looked nice). It's about 5 minutes from the airport and they pick you up and return you when needed to fly out. Recommend.

The room was in fantastic shape -- I couldn't believe the quality for the price, as some of these Richmond rooms were well over $200/night. As a sufferer of chronic back pain, I feel extra inclined to highlight the bed. I had the refreshing sleep I needed (especially as I faced another plethora of additional delays the next day). The next morning, I had a super smooth check-out process and a lovely shuttle transfer to the airport. The driver was absolutely fantastic -- I cannot remember her name for the life of me (I'm so sorry), but I am beyond grateful for her cheerful demeanor and sense of humor. I highly recommend this Fairfield, especially if you need a place to stay during a delay!
