This was my second time here, and I love everything about this place. First of all, kudos to the bartender--I forgot her name, but she was incredibly generous and kind. She accidentally forgot my drink and kept apologizing, but I told her it was totally fine since we had a large party. To make up for it, she gave me two shots instead of one and even added a big discount. The ambiance of this place is unique and very artsy. If you're looking for a cool, one-of-a-kind spot to hang out, this is it. There's so much attention to detail throughout--even the restroom door is thoughtfully designed with a modern, creative touch. My friend ordered a variety of cocktails, and everyone enjoyed them. The food was great as well. I ordered the hummus plate, and it was the best I've ever had--so fresh and served in a generous portion. My friends tried the pizza and a few other items from the menu, and everything got a thumbs up. If you're in the area looking for a cool place to hang out or planning a party, this is the spot. I'll definitely be back again soon.

First off, they have a "wait to be seated" sign at their entrance, but it took a while to get anyone to seat us. When we were inside, we noticed there was another entrance and people were just walking in, so "waiting to be seated" was just an option? We ordered a beer and seltzer and it took easily 10-15 minutes to get our drinks. Drinks that were in cans by the way. Music was good, DJs were good, but the whole vibe of the place is kinda everywhere. This lighting in this place needs to be more dimmed. DJs are spinning right in the middle of the room, and there's a clothes rack just chilling against the wall. The baristas are way in the back, and you can't really tell who works there. It took equally as long to get the check as it did to get my drinks. We only had 1 round of drinks. I dunno, waiting for canned drinks just threw me off. I can't imagine how much longer it would have taken to get a mixed cocktail. I only saw one guy mixing drinks and a bunch of women just hanging around. I'm assuming workers that look like they don't work there.

We've…read moreattended multiple events here, including concerts, and every experience has been fantastic. The arena feels modern, clean, and well-designed, and honestly, there isn't a bad seat in the house. No matter where you're sitting, you have a great view of the action. One thing people often mention is parking. You can pay for arena parking, which typically ranges from $15-$25 depending on the event, or you can park for free behind some of the nearby businesses and enjoy a short walk. Personally, I think it's a fair trade-off, especially considering everything the arena offers. The food options are surprisingly good for an event venue. The smash burgers are delicious, and the steak nachos are hands-down my favorite. They also offer a good selection of alcoholic beverages for those who want to enjoy a drink while watching a game or concert. What really stands out is the variety of events. From hockey, indoor football, soccer, and basketball to concerts and family entertainment, there's always something happening. The atmosphere is energetic, fun, and welcoming every time we've visited. One of the best things Frontwave Arena does is offer free tickets to many of their sporting events for local families through promotions on their Instagram page. Follow them and keep an eye out! If paying $15-$25 for parking helps support a venue that regularly gives away tickets so families and friends can enjoy games together, I'm more than happy to do it. Frontwave Arena is a great addition to our community, and I highly recommend checking out an event if you haven't already.

Better off ordering a kombucha which comes in a can. Water is bottled. Service is too attentive when you first arrive then seems to disappear once you have been served. Really a 3.5. Mom serves the food and pop runs the bar. It's a very cozy and intimate place to listen to jazz. On our visit there was a trio playing. Being a small place it's intimate and we got to meet the band members during the break. The trio did a set and after a short break it was a jam session. Several other musicians arrived, and it was a great session. Some points to note. It's a small venue and great for a trio but with the jam session it got quite crowded, though in a good way in my opinion. Lots of interaction between the audience and musicians. Also, with only mom and pop working, service can get a little slow. They are known for their cocktails, and they are very good. Also, a selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Wine also. They serve food but we didn't try any.

Fortunately, the musicians were all top notch professional musicians with peak level musicality other wise I would have walked out... MUSICIANS: Professional and their playing was very soothing. They even performed an encore at the end which was the Legend of Zelda... SERVICE: C+ I felt like I was entering TSA check in at the airport. Phones must be silent. I couldn't even have the screen on. Too strict for a small theatre... AMBIANCE: 7/10 you could hear fire trucks passing by in the background. Do they plan to leave the theater doors open throughout the entire performance? This is definitely very different from Carnegie Hall... I should have known better. Joe Hisaishi would not be performing at a little theatre like this one... I would steer clear!!!

I would recommend the theater. Street parking is available and not too far away is a parking garage. Be aware of where you park, watch for timed parking signs.

We settled on Oceanside in hopes of finding good food, as our weekend (end of Feb) had been full of a poor results. This place came up as very well rated on Yelp, as my friend and I searched for places to eat. It was a Saturday night with great weather. The red flag I should have read into was that the lone guy working that night was a one man show. He was doing it all in the front of the house. I tried to get us a table to sit outdoors but he just couldn't get to the table to clean it. After about 20 minutes he finally came and just moved all the bowls to the empty table next to it and wiped it down. When my friends finally arrived we all sat down to sticky menus that had NO descriptions. What you see on the website is exactly what they have on the menu. We had to wait to ask the server/host what each menu item meant. It took a while to get our food from when we ordered. Thank goodness for good company, I didn't clock it. The food options were limited and keep in mind for those who have children, most of the options come with a spicy kick, you'll have to explicitly tell them "no spicy"! There was a party who had been sitting for a while before we got there and a kiddo took a bite of pizza and was crying, screaming from it being so spicy. With my ramen the portions are tiny for what you pay, with 1 piece of meat, not enough noodles. Flavor wise it was spicy and bland. We ordered a couple appetizers which were not very good. The edamame was overly salty and soaked in soy sauce and the karaage was probably the only good thing and that was a little overfried. No one in our party finished our food or took any of the leftovers home. Save yourself the trip, not worth trying the "unique foods".
