Dr. Gary Woodward was just like children in a candy store once he got a hold of your financial information like your bank card or credit card! He charged $85.00 for a new patient exam which was excessive and totally useless. Then he charged $20.00 co-pay which turned out was a mistake because there was no treatment performed. He sent me a refund check of $20.00 but I returned it to him personally and requested to have a credit back to my card instead. That was never done after I requested several times including recent conference call with my health care prvider representative. The amount is has not been refunded! Then the second visit, he promised "free of charge", still no treatment only information! However, his office sent me the second bill charging $30.00 more because he filled 2 claims with the insurance and got denied! Long story short, do go there!!! His competitor Samuel Ko, DC in Chino only charged me $50.00 first visit and I got a neck stretch, massage with hot oil; muscles stimulator on my lumbar area; some adjustment with a device, very gental approach! On top of that a referal for a physical therapy near where I live! That's what I call great professional ethics! read more

Dr. Woodward and his staff are amazing! I have been a patient since 2024 and am currently being treated with the decompression therapy. It has been a life saver! I have gone from using a walker and barely able to sit for 10 min to significantly less pain and more ability! I went here for 3 visits... I was not happy. This has been my 3rd chiropractor so I know what to expect or should expect. Dr had me lay on moving lounge table for a few minutes and that's all, end of appointment? No alignment or manual therapy or no cupping. Also explain my lower back issue to dr. I found doctor Dr. Woodward on Yelp and went to him as he was open the earliest and I was have terrible neck pain preventing me from sleeping. I called and was able to get a appointment a hour from the time I called. Amber who works the front desk is wonderful, As soon and I walked in she was chipper and so helpful. I was very nervous to try a new chiropractor but as soon as I met Dr Woodward with his very calm demeanor I was put at ease. He sat down with me and took notes of all my aches and pains, had me show him my range of motion and did a adjustment and then a therapy on my upper back and neck, he said to give it a few hours to work on my inflammation but my neck felt 90% better before I even left the office. It's been about 2 months since I found Woodward Chiropractic office after hurting my back mowing the lawn. The staff is friendly and professional. The office is sufficiently equipped to accommodate convenient scheduling. An immaculate appearance maintains the tastefully decorated interior. There is plenty of available parking. The location sits advantageously near numerous other commercial businesses. Dr. Woodward is remarkably professional, friendly and conscientious. After a few weeks, he assessed a MRI would benefit the direction of my treatment plan. He was deliberate to recommend a site with a good record for quality images. Many times I have woken up with the realization that I can't move my head a certain way or tweaked it while working etc. and they always work to get me in as soon as possible. I have severe scoliosis, and it started causing me quite a bit of pain again. Saw the good reviews here, so decided to give Dr. Woodward a try. I've been getting adjustments for about three weeks now, and a lot of my pain is gone already. The staff are all very friendly. Dr. Woodward is great. The place is a bit difficult to get to because of an island. You have to be heading west on Foothill, and it's the 2nd driveway when you pass the driveway that goes into the shopping center with the Kohl's and McDonald's. There are only three parking spots right in front, and a small parking lot in the back with a driveway that goes around the building. They seem to be more busy on Fridays. When it's not too busy, I'm in and out in about 15 minutes. One Friday I think I was there for about 30-40 minutes. read more

I have been see Dr. Woodward for my back for a bit now after I was involved in a car accident. BY FAR HIM & HIS STAFF ARE THE BEST! The vibe in his office is awesome and relaxing. The set up and decore soothes you from the moment you walk in. The Dr is very attentive and plans your treatment accordingly. It's not the same treatment for everyone. He genuinely cares about getting you better sooner so you can return to being pain free sooner than later. He's not a doctor who keeps you coming for treatment just to make money off you. A Doctor like that is hard to find and a staff like his is even harder to find! I recommend his office to anyone that suffers from any type of pain in the neck and back. Dr Woodward is THE best. After a career of heavy lifting and lower back pain for most of it Dr Woodward is the only one who fixed it. Every one of the other chiropractors(50 years worth) would twist me to adjust my back, but Dr Woodward used a different technique that actually put my lower back in place where it should have been all along. As soon as he did what he did I looked at him and said you got it doc. I could feel the difference immediately and it's been in place with no pain ever since, which has been 2 years now. My mother was told over 25 years ago that she needed back surgery. Dr Woodward was new to the area so he actually went door to door to promote his practice. She gave him a chance and he's kept her from needing surgery! I've had neck and back problems myself from time to time and they always get better after a trip to Dr Woodward. He's the real deal and honest too. He won't try to give you more treatments then you need. My mother needed a lot of work in the very beginning, but now just needs rare maintenance for flare ups. I would never recommend this so called chiropractor. From our first meeting he was gruff, over the top arrogant and ruined my back causing me to have major back surgery to repair his excessive dangerous manipulations. I simply pulled a muscle in the middle of my back about 4" left of my spine. I am 54, very athletic and this was first time I have ever pulled a back muscle. I anticipated some heat pads, possible ultrasounds, a massage, but never any manipulation. His maneuver which he did 3 times over two days was so violent that he ruptured a fluid sac at the base of my spine causing the fluid to fill around my L5 nerve root completely compressing, permanently damaging my sciatic nerve and hip joint and herniating 2 of my discs. I weigh only 110lbs and he used the same force he would have used on a 250lb man. With the first manipulation we both heard a popping sounds and I immediately knew something was wrong, and he repeated the maneuver. The next day I told him I now had pain in my lower spine and he repeated the violent maneuver again. By the fourth day I did not returned and went to my family MD. After 2 months I could not walk and was rushed into surgery to remove the fluid from my spine. After almost 3 years my injuries have never fully repaired, leaving me with constant pain in my lower back and hip joint, all for a simple pulled muscle which some heat and a massage would have probably fixed. Gary naturally claimed no wrong doing. Other chiropractors stated they would have never performed such a violent risky maneuver on a person my size. Gary ruined my back forever and I would stay away from this arrogant maniac. read more
