I brought my not working Shark vacuum that is 7 months old to Woody's for repair. The knew what was wrong with it as soon walked in the door. As soon as I set it down the took it apart opened it up took the hose unclogged it and told me to go on Amazon and order a new filter for my specific model. They are both incredible-you can tell that they truly enjoy working on, and dealing with, vacuums. They are both so cute. Strolled in about ten years ago. Bought an expensive Riccar (he took my old one on trade), and boy do I love it. Only have had one issue in all this time, and he did an overhaul and it ran like new. The old man was funny and delightful, and I felt good with this solid purchase. It's heavy and harder to push, but it cleans my carpet, it doesn't just vacuum it. Just bought a Sirena vacuum from them. Very professional place.I had been talking with Steve and he was very helpful on the phone, including doing a price match. He even took the courtesy to call me later and give me some more details on the vacuum. I arrived the next day and Steve took the time to explain everything to me about it and was very thorough. These guys definitely know their stuff. What I like is they don't try to pressure you into buying or upgrading. I knew I was getting a great deal on the vacuum and I even offered to up the price $30 since I would have the convenience of dealing with them (vs the manufacturer) if any warranty work was needed down the road. I bought a Riccar vacuum from another dealer approximately 6 years ago. I bought it from that dealer after I took my old Riccar vacuum in for repair. After some "slick talk", I came away with a new Riccar Vacuum. My current Riccar vacuum seem to overheat and just quit one day. I took the vacuum to the original shop but left it in the car just to see what they might say. Without missing a beat, they said I needed a new motor and other parts and said the final bill would be approximately $200. Then they said it might be better to buy a new one instead of repairing this one. This seemed to be the same thing they said/did to me before. I checked reviews online and saw some good reports on Woody Mann Vacuums. It said a free estimate so what did I have to lose. I walked in with my vacuum and immediately they said, it won't come on anymore, huh. He then grabbed the vacuum and took off a hose and cleaned it out. He then pushed the Overheat Protection Button and the unit immediately turned on. He said the unit had this overheat button to prevent the motor from ruining. Why didn't this other guy tell me that??? He then turned it over and grabbed a new belt and put it on. Did the same thing with a Hepa Filter. He also said the axle was broke and said he could fix that. I also bought a dust brush. Final bill, $60.01. What a Deal!!!!!!! read more

Took my vacuum in for repair. The found that the dirt bag was too full and caused the vacuum to stop working. Put in a new bag and it worked. No charge for their help and they did not try to upgrade me. Their first interest was to solve my problem. Good people to work with and I trust them. read more
