Memorial Day Disaster!! What we hoped would be a great camping trip turned out to be horrible! My fiancé reserved a RV & now I wish I would have read the reviews first! Julie is so rude and unprofessional I don't know how she's in business. They were pleasant in the beginning and skylar was very helpful getting us set up ready to go. Once we reached our destination the RV lost power and we were stuck with no way to get it back up and running. The camp site we were at checked the electrical box and it turns out the RV had a electrical short somewhere. All our food went to waste and it was hot! Not the trip I expected. When we called Julie to get help and explain what happen to figure out how to get the RV up and going she must have been 3 sheets to the wind and started yelling profanities and could not be quiet to listen to what happen. She kept asking the same questions over and over. She sounded drunk and belligerent, yelling blaming us for breaking the RV. The RV she gave us was broken. Not only was our trip ruined because of the piece of junk she rented us her yelling at us didn't make it any better. I would never ever recommend anybody renting from this place. Just because they own the place doesn't give them the right to speak to anybody in the way that she did. So unprofessional! we were forced to drive the RV back from our trip with the slide out still out. So dangerous! When we went to turn in the RV she was eating at her desk and didn't even budge to help us to say sorry for her very unprofessional behavior. They didn't offer any sort of refund and continue to blame us for breaking the RV. Horrible experience!

Despite what all the other reviews stated, I decided to give Woodys RV rentals a try. Let me start off by saying that from the first initial phone call, everyone and I mean everyone was extremely kind and displayed great customer service. Upon pickup I was a little hesitant and to be completely honest nervous based on what the other customers implied. However, once again everyone was very helpful and truly kind to my many questions. Being that this was the first time I ever rented an RV, I knew very little about them, thus requiring the owner to spend a great deal of additional time explaining everything to me. Needless to say, she was simply the best, even after assisting me with multiple questions the very next day. Great and wonderful service, therefore, I will be coming back in the near future!

So far so good! Met Julie & Chris from Woodys today. Super cool and laid back folks... My kinda peeps! We dropped off our 2013 Z71 Crossroads travel trailer (free plug) for them to rent it out since we hardly use it these days.... And we checked out a few of their driver RVs to rent. Looking forward to doing business with these fine folks! We actually will be taking one out for the weekend soon and I will report back w/the 411! Spoke to a couple customers while we were there that had just returned their rentals and they were satisfied. That's always a good sign!

We went to pick up our Rv for our trip and the website pictures were way off. The Rv was trashed sonmich that the prople checking it put admitted "she had taken a beating." there was a hole in the doir, the table inside was broken, the awning shade was tied down and no able to be used, the bumber was rusted and dented so levels could not be used. the battery kept dying and the slide out wnet in and out on its own but not when u wanted it to. no other choices were available but if they had shared the condition of the Rv when we called we would have went elsewhere. Next time use a big business place like Cruise America they would never allow something like this off their lot!!!

These folks were amazing. I parked on their lot for six months. They winterized my camper, then I decided to sell it about a month ago. I called them a couple of weeks after I put it up for sale because I had someone interested and wanted to one look at it. They dewinterized it and pulled it up and hooked everything up for me. They were very helpful to me as a single lady. Great service and maintenance. On top of that I did not owe them a penny when I sold it, even though it did not get rented out. AMAZING!!!!! read more

My Mom recently rented an RV from here to celebrate my my 30th birthday! Upon arriving for pickup, We had the pleasure of doing great business with the owner Julie, she was professional, sweet, approachable and communicative. This was our first experience renting an Rv as well as Driving/Operating one! After all of the paperwork was out of the way, Julie then escorted us to our rental, and proceeded to teach us how to operate the RV, things like power controls, energy sources, water connection and all the good stuff, her instructions were clear and easy to understand and remember. After our trip drop off was quick and easy! This establishment has a warm family businessy vibe. I would recommend! read more

My husband and I are first time RV rentals. Let me just say we had an exceptional experience with Woodys and all the staff. Julie and Skylar answered our call every time we had to call on our long trip. We had a 10 day trip. We went to California, Grand Canyon and Santa Fe NM. It was minor things that were promptly handled. We rented the Minnie Winnie which was very comfortable. Although, was more room that we needed we thoroughly enjoyed the trip and yes we would recommend Woodys and use again! read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Shady business. I emailed Julie Jan 6, 2025 about renting an RV for Motogp Mar 27, she responded 12 hrs later and I signed the rental agreement and gave my credit card. I specifically asked for 4 camp chairs, paid $500 for the power grid. THE DAY BEFORE MY RENTAL....Jacob informed me there would be no power grid and I would now be downgraded to a generator, and that it would be better because now we could move around and camp anywhere....WHAT??? A class C that was parked for us and no means to move it. There were no camp chairs, not enough bedding, and no instructions on how to operate the RV or generator, we called Jacob and he said to let the generator run all the time even when refilling. The first night an angry neighbor came pounding on the door at 10:30pm and then turned off the generator. The end of day 2 someone dropped off 2 camp chairs and additional bedding. We ran out of water even though we took only 3 short showers and washed NO dishes. Of course, after the weekend when I tried MULTIPLE times to call and email Julie I have gotten NO RESPONSE!! I paid several hundreds of $$$ for things I did not receive. SHADY SHADY SHADY!! DISHONEST AND OWE ME A REFUND OF THINGS I DID NOT RECEIVE!!!!! read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! This company had my Travel Trailer for 3.5 months during what they call "busy season". They sent me multiple emails saying it was rented out for different events. Then when i would inquire about getting paid, they always had some excuse saying oh the renter changed their mind and wanted something bigger. When i finally decided i had enough and went to get my travel trailer, there was a man spraying acetone on the RV next to mine. Not even 5 feet from mine. The overspray was getting all over my travel trailer. DO NOT GIVE YOUR RV or travel trailer to this company. Its a total scam. As a single mother, with bills being tight, i was looking forward to at least offsetting my monthly payment. I received $0. read more

Worst experience ever! The RV's, trailers may look nice but they do NO maintenance, poorly maintained! They push the rentals off on the next oblivious customer there able to swindle out of BIG bucks. The owner is quite nice while getting you to pay the entire amount $$$$$ up front, days before you pick up your paid for disappointment. When you call and question why you didnt get the nice, shiney, new RV that you paid for she's rude, crude and mean. It is at that point you realize your money was fraudulently taken! A few friends and I were headed right outside of Round Rock to this crazy Music festival out in the country. Hotels in the general area by the festival grounds were all booked so plan B renting an RV it was. My best friends boyfriend took the reins on finding a RV rental spot closest to the festival, after checking various websites he found Woody's RV. Everything about this place was unprofessional and very shady. First off the sign for the rental spot is really small and if you don't know exactly where you are going then this place is almost impossible to find. We drove up and down I-35 frontage road for about 30-45 mins just trying to locate Woody's RV. Finally we found it and pulled in. I am not knowledgeable about RV's at all this was gonna be my first time experiencing this type of situation. So I of course am extremely nervous that we may forget some step that would result in our RV having a technical difficulty. Julie one of the employees ran through the walk-through so fast that I felt so confused and worried I had missed something in her quick tour. They had us out of their in like 10 minutes which to mean seemed a bit to fast. When we left we were not given a copy of the lease agreement or any of the other paper work. Before we left we made sure Julie knew we planned on dropping the RV off on Sunday per her convenience. Julie said no problem as long as its after 12 since she would be at church with her family. Sunday comes and we give Julie a call at 12pm like she had requested, she tells us she can't meet us to check the RV in and can we come back Monday. I work 9-5 Monday - Friday and the fact that she told us that really made me irate. After numerous back & forth phone calls she sent someone to check the RV in but we were not given our deposit back which originally she had promised us. I repeatedly asked her where our cash deposit was and she never did answer that question. I think that this company is very unprofessional. I will never do business with this company again in the future and I would not recommend anyone else either. read more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. This is the 2nd time we've rented from Woody's RV Rental and we will NOT be renting from them again. First, the woman we dealt with was rude, snobby, and clearly didn't care about customer service, or that there's this thing called the internet where you can post bad reviews for all the world to see. Second, they rented out the trailer we had placed a deposit on to another customer so we were forced to take a smaller trailer with less amenities. Awesome. Third, there was no spare tire on the trailer, which we were made aware of, and we were also told they had road side assistance should something happen. Well, something happened. About 30 minutes into our trip, BAM, flat tire on the trailer. We called Woody's to let them know and so they could send roadside assistance but again, the woman was RUDE, told us she was on vacation, and that someone would call us back. YOU were on vacation? Well what the hell do think I'm on? The side of the road, that's what! Luckily the tire blew close to a Wal-Mart, and seeing as they had been so helpful thus far, we decided to take matters into our own hands and just go to Wal-Mart and get a new tire ourselves. Which of course we had to pay for out of pocket. The first time we rented from this company the AC in the pop-up we rented did not work. In 95 degree Texas summer heat. And now, we can add this lovely experience to our list of reason why NOT to rent from Woody's RV Rental. Save yourself trouble, time, money, and rudeness. DO NOT RENT from this company. read more

I really don't have anything good to say about this place. If you need to rent an RV I would keep looking. Summary: The unit was not in good condition, even though it was a "newer" model Office staff lied to me about my deposit to get me off the phone. Three phone calls later and still no resolution. For starters, we had a specific model that we wanted, so we went to the lot to look at a few. They told us the one we wanted was available, but then a few weeks later told us it was no longer available. Not great, but we can live with it. Then, the day we came to pickup the second RV, that one had mice droppings so they thought they would give us a "better" model. After we left, then we noticed all the issues. One major issue was that the bathroom door fell off as we were driving. And the first night, the main fuses blew, with no spares, so we had no electricity. We had to go buy fuses. The worst part is the GM said to call him if we had any issues. We called and never got a response from him. Luckily, when we call the main phone number, the lady that answered did help us figure it out. Then when we finally got back after we returned the unit, they said the deposit would be back on our card in a few days. It wasn't. I called to see what's up, and they said they was run on that Friday so it should only take a few more days. Nope. Then, I called a 3rd time, and they started spouting policy to me. I asked for a confirmation about the deposit, that it had been run. They said they would send me a copy. Nope. Still unsure its started the process or if I have to call again... I really hope they figure out what true customer service means. I am glad some people had good experiences, but I will never recommend them to any of my friends. read more

Refused to return deposit! Don't even consider renting from Woody. Julie Woody is a rude and unhelpful person. She interrupted a first meeting with my wife and me when someone else walked into the office. I should have walked out then. We had a horrible rental experience. Many problems with the 40 ft. RV. Propane tank was only half full. We froze the first night. We found out later that the owner had bought the trailer from a drug seizure auction. A flat tire caused damage to the side of the trailer. Our insurance covered that 100%, but Woody charged us the $1,000 deposit for the time the trailer was out of service. If you leave a deposit, you better not depend on getting it back. Horrible, horrible experience. The trailer slipped off our brand new 5th wheel hitch and damaged our 2 week old truck. , which cost us another $500 insurance deductable. A worker there said that the same thing happened to him with that trailer. Total cost for a 5 day rental: 2,600. I would never, never rent from these people. read more

I called Julie after another company rented my unit out and on very short notice rented us with a beautiful 40' Coach that was immaculate. The entire staff answered all my silly questions and delivered it almost 80 miles away. Chad took our late night call after I couldn't figure out something easy... I can't imagine using anyone else for my next rental...I'm already booked for 2013. Thanks Julie, Chad and Chris for going the extra mile!!!! AWESOME!! Mark Stevenson ValMark Chevrolet read more

The only place i could find that rents a bumper pull toy hauler. I was able to pull a toyhauler with 3 dirtbikes in it with my 1/2 ton truck no problem. Not sure about the rest of the fleet but the toy hauler we rented was awesome, pretty much brand new. I was a little sketcheed out by some not so hot reviews but we had a really good experience. Friendly service, they went over all the ins and outs of the trailer and answered all my questions before we took off. Ended up coming home half a day early and they went out of their way to come meet us so we could drop the trailer off early. Will use Woody's again, I'm eyeballing a pop-up for my next trip. read more

We started calling around after our RV plans fell apart. Julie and her team work hard to not only get us into an RV but to get us into the one we wanted. Her staff even helped accomodate us on returning the RV early so we could catch our plane plus work with us to arrange pick up of our "extra" stuff to be shipped home. Bottom line is, Vacations are tough, working with Julie Woddy and her team make things easier. Thanks again, Steve read more

I have been renting from Woodys for 5 years now, and have NEVER had a single issue. They dont make me feel stupid if I dont know how to work everything on the unit. We go to races, bbq festivals, music festivals, etc and ALWAYS rent. We waited too long once, and Woodys didnt have anything left that would hold us, so we were forced to try some place in cedar park. I wont slam the other place on this review, but I can tell we have never gone anywhere but Woodys since then. The prices, the staff, the selection, and the knowledgeable staff at Woody's blows away the other local competitors. Everyone I have recommended them to has had the same positive experience. We have rented (2) RVs, a travel trailer (twice), and a popup, and its always the same EASY experience. Dont buy - RENT! read more

I rented a trailer for a long weekend recently and I have to say I had an amazing experience! The trailer was clean and the service was fast and friendly, no problems! Dropped off and picked up by the company, no hassle. I would recommend giving you business to Woody over any where else (everyone we camped with was jealous that our set up was so squared away and others had problems with their RV rentals from other places around town). Julie was awesome, right to the point and gets you exactly what you need. read more

I would advise no one to rent from this company or to rent out their RV through this company. Instead of making extra income (as I was told I would make) by renting out my C class RV through Woody, it ended up costing me thousands of dollars to repair and maintain my unit after being used by renters and not cared for by the company. The communication was very poor and it seemed to always take multiple emails and months to even get the check for my share of the rental income. Needless to say, I was very disappointed by my experience with Woody. So much so that I terminated our contract early do to lack of maintenance on my vehicle and the replacement of my refrigerator at my expense without so much as a phone call/email about it. This is an update in response to the owner's response: for the reader- we spent approximately $4000 on maintaining our RV during rental. We received a rough total of $1500 in rental income. The refrigerator that she gave to us at "cost" was $500+ $300 (installation) + $650(a part we paid for initially to repair our old fridge which worked when we dropped it off for rental. The part had a lifetime warranty and was discarded without our knowledge so we never even had the chance to return it for a refund). As for the communication-I did receive one email stating our fridge was not working correctly. I immediately responded asking what was happening. I got no response. After a week of nothing, I called Miss Woody directly and inquired about the fridge. All I was told is that it is working great now! It wasn't until I was to receive my first rental income check that I was told they had in fact replaced the unit at my cost! The oil was never changed on our RV after 8,000 miles were put on it. WE EVEN PROVIDED THE OIL! Miss Woody is correct in saying renting your RV is not for everyone. If you do not want to spend your hard earned money making Woody RV a ton of money, then it is NOT for you. read more

Repairs to an RV in order to make it operable for a renter or anyone…

We have rented from Woody's for 3 years and have always had a great experience. It is normally during ROT Rally (which means mass chaos), but somehow they manage to accommodate everyone there. The pick up/ drop off have always gone smoothly. We had a small issue a year ago with a fridge not getting cold and Christian showed up immediately and took care of it. He provides AMAZING customer service and we see him all over the park helping people. He's like a ninja! They always have extra generators, adapters, coffee pots, etc so if you need anything, it's pretty easy to obtain. Personally, I love how friendly and laid back everyone is. Anyone who has dogs in their main office is ok with me! Julie has an exceptional group of people working for her and she provides excellent leadership and support 24 hours a day. Rot Rally would not be the same without Woodys! read more

Let's start with first things first, we rented a camper for our family vacation we prepaid the full rental price before we were supposed to pay it so that part would be out of the way and we would not have to pay when we picked it up so maybe it would not take so long to get the camper and get on the road. The day we went to pick the said camper up low and behold it took 2 hours just to be able to leave there. What the issue was is that we done the walk through everything looked good and at the last minute we wanted to double check and make sure we had everything needed to hook up at our campsite, thank goodness because there were were NO hoses or anything for hookups l, they had to take some from another camper for us. Now on to phase two we make it to our campsite and start getting everything ready for our first night and low and behold there we were in a messed up situation because we did not have the crank handle to lower the stabilizing Jacks so every time the wind blew we felt like we were on a boat and yes were we were staying it was windy VERY windy and then we got ready to fix some dinner now that it was 8:00pm and the kids were starving and bam new issue the outside kitchen we had planed to use to cook on while camping would not work, why you ask? There was no gas line for the propane so again we were stuck not knowing what to do because where we were camping there were no restaurants around so the only option we had at that point was to find a big box store which was almost 70 miles away and buy a grill (cheapest one they had was $100.00) plus the $59.00 for the gas tank for said grill. We got to the camp site and cooked dinner and finally got to eat around 10:30pm. Next was when we were getting ready to hook up to empty the black water tank what do you think happened? We had the hose to connect to the camper but no connecter on the other end to hook up to the sewage desposial so again we had to locate a hardware store who sold the connectors and go buy one of them. This is were it gets even worse, you sign a contract agreeing not to damage the rental or you would have to pay for repairs and forfeit your $500.00 deposit. We got up at 6:00 am with plans to head out at 6:30 am as we already had everything ready to go that's when we were going to empty the black water tank so we had to wait until 9:00 am when the hardware store opened so we could get the part needed to hook up and empty the tank because in the contract it says not to pull it with the tanks full and if they are you lose your deposit and are charged a fee. So that put us 2 and a half hours behind schedule, then we we did get on the road there was a major storm headed that way and the wind was afful we had to drive slow because even when the wind is not crazy bad it is still a job to pull a 32 foot camper. Then came the rain pouring rain that is so that slowed us down even more, so you I am sure guessed it we were late getting back into town to drop the camper off. I did call them and let them know we were running late because of all this and the lady had a anger issue it sounded like. I lost service while trying to explain to her what the problem was. So we get back and the young man was there waiting on us. He done the walk through and confirmed it was already cleaned better then it was when we picked it up. As we are walking back to get in our truck he says you are going to be charged for a extra day plus a late fee. What?? How can they charge for a extra day and a late fee? We did not keep it a extra day!!!!! Late fee yes I see that even though we would not have been late if we did not have to wait on the hardware store to open. We ask why a extra day the young man then ask us "well what time did you pick it up when your rental started?" We proceed to tell him we picked it up around 5:30 or 6:00pm the day we picked up he said well then it would have been due back by 5:30 or 6:00pm on the day we returned it well guess what time it was when he told us that, it was 6:11pm so seriously $100.00 late fee for being 11 minutes late? He then told us to call them the next morning and speak with them about what had happend so that's what we did. We were told that the person in charge was out of the office doing a delivery and set up and they would go over everything and call us back. Still to this day no one has called us back after 2 attempts of us trying to get in touch with them, so today I am looking over my credit card charges and see WOODY RV RENTAL LLC. $286.00 that was charged today without our knowledge that was $100.00 late fee a extra day rental charge and tax on the extra day. How can they charge both a extra day and a late fee? We did not even use the camper at all for the extra day they charged. Had we known they were going to do that we would have just stayed out another night right. read more

Wanted to say thanks for your exceptional service on our last rental. After getting to the park late and not being able to get to our campsite until after dark, we discovered that the power cord for the travel trailer was not with the unit. I called the number on your website hoping to leave a message for help and to my surprise someone actually answered the phone, Stacie, who helped me try and locate the cord. Although we were unable to find it, she immediately had someone drive the cord out to us at the park, a 4 hour trip and all this well after 9 pm on a Sunday night. I really appreciate you resolving this issue in such a timely and professional manner, you exceeded my expectations with the level of service you provide us. I will definitely be renting from you in the future knowing I can rest assured you are there to assist when something goes wrong, no matter the day or time. Thanks again for all you did to make things right. read more

Let's start with the good things that I can say about Woody's. The engine and transmission in the RV were good. No problems. And the RV was clean when we picked it up and C was helpful both in the camper orientation and in being available for problems along the road. Unfortunately, the number of issues with this RV's were not only LENGTHY, but these problems were only serviceable with long calls or calling out service repair people to where were were on the road. I did not rent an RV for the week so that I could spend hours every day calling Woody's and play repairman to all the issues or wait around for a dish specialist or generator specialist to show up and fix the RV so that we could then start to enjoy our vacation. We made do, thinking that this company would make good on the obvious issues with this RV at some point. Boy, was I wrong. Let's start with the fact that the RV that I reserved was not available on the day that we were scheduled to pick it up for our trip, so Woody's offered me a different RV. Same price, but obviously not the same features (check the end of this story, as this probably happened to the person who rented this RV after us--or should have, because it was not road ready). Having small children, one of the key features that we were looking for in an RV rental was the entertainment for the boys in the RV on the road. The replacement RV had 4 TV's, but the dish network satellite it did not work--so we ended up having to use our ipad. If fact, it not only did not work in motion, it had a long set up process when you stop that included putting a $500 satellite out in the open, and making it easy to steal. On top of that, it had to be connected to the engine battery, wires had to but put through the window and when it was all set up and manually wired--alas, the satellite receiver (the same receiver that I use at my home for the past many years), did not even work. No one had checked it. So, one of the key features of the RV did not work. In fact, the AM radio did not work in the cab. Yes, this was one of the many features of the RV that did not work. I grew up in RV's, and it took me about 24 hours to know everything there is to know about this RV. The battery alarms went off every time you stop and plug in the RV for about 1-2 hours. No number of resets would fix this problem. I was told later that I should have taken the panel apart and disconnected the panel to stop the alarm--which explains why I was told to take a full tool kit. Oh, yes, I had tools, because I was told I would need them to repair things on the road that would most certainly go wrong. Little did I know how true this turned out to be! Locking compartments outside did not lock or stay shut while driving down the road. Imagine driving down the road and people are flagging you down to stop because something is wrong. And you better hope you did not store anything in those compartments--one of which had been damaged in an accident and had not been repaired. We could not use most of the external storage compartments. The propane could not be refiled because it had not been checked and it was missing the o-ring gasket--a critical piece to fill the propane tanks. The 4 holding tank lights did not work and this was explained to me before we left as "these things just don't work on any RV after a period of time". I did not realize how important this would end up being in determining when to empty the tanks or how much clean water was in the tanks. And the generator did not start working until day 4 or 5. We made do with direct electrical connections most of the trip, but we paid for unlimited use of the generator, which was in fact very limited. While I was on the way to return the RV, I got a text telling me that I was a day late in returning the RV--well, I was not a day late; I was 3 hours early, but they had put the wrong information on the board and double booked the RV to go out just after my return. I see why our RV was in poor service now. And to top it all off, the owner of the company has promised me for a week and a half now to get back to me concerning the issues that arose from the trip; i have waited 10 days before writing this review to see if the owner/manager would ever get back in touch with me. Every time I contact her she tells me how busy she is, or the fact that it is her day off and she will get back to me the following week at her convenience. I guess it is never going to be convenient enough for her to get back to me. She told her employee that she would credit me 2 days rental or 50% off of my next rental for "my trouble". She told me in a brief text tonight that she would credit me 1 day rental. I told her not to bother. I have enough problems without going through this again with this company or this person who does not seem to have time to service their equipment or take care of paying customers. Oh, but I suspect she will take the time to respond to this review. read more

We do not recommend working with Woody RV to rent your RV. Woody RV promises to return your RV, short of normal wear and tear, in the condition you gave Woody RV your RV. Woody RV states that normal wear and tear will be addressed while under their care; however, costs are passed to the owner of the RV. This arrangement is acceptable. After 9 months of using Woody RV to rent our RV, we provided Woody RV with 30 days contract cancellation notice. Our RV was returned with a high amount of normal wear and tear that was not maintained by Woody RV. Below is a description of how our RV returned. Though Woody RV claims they will fix the issues below, Woody RV has not responded to our emails for the past 45 days. These issues have been outstanding since November 1, 2015. ** Hot water heater not working and needs to be repaired (no hot water) ** Battery not maintained (required filling batteries with 5 1/2 liters of distilled water) ** Missing mattress in the living room ** Grey and black water tanks not dumped ** Poop lodged in toilet ** Strap on awning missing ** Lights over table burnt out and not replaced ** 5 lamps in ceiling burnt out and not replaced ** 2 of the 3 light bulbs in bathroom vanity missing but bases remain ** Sliding door to bedroom broken and off track ** Closet doors in master dirty, dusty, broken off track and missing latches ** Filter to water system missing ** Stove top latches broken and missing ** Generator rough, leaking oil and need servicing ** Cameras in reverse and transposed mode ** Ceiling vent in master bedroom missing ** Awning installed improperly and put a hole in the gel coat and body of RV ** Driver side back hole size of a dime in the gel coat ** Severely cracked windshield (5 12-15 inch lines) ** Torn front screen door ** Missing front curtain tie cord was replaced with odd rope ** Driver captain chair unstable and listing ** Gas tank not filled ** Propane tank not filled UPDATE 02/17/16 and RESPONSE to Woody RV: Woody RV has not financially reimbursed us for the items outside of normal wear and tear. Short of Woody RV's immediate response via Yelp, Woody RV has not responded via email for the past 50 days. Additionally, we have pictures of the returned condition of the RV and the lack of cleaning performed on the RV. All issues continue to be outstanding since November 1, 2015. UPDATE 03/03/16: On 02/26/16 Woody RV responded privately to me advising a check was cut on 01/26. I advised Woody RV that the check nor the part were received. On 03/03 a check was received from Woody RV. The amount of the check covered some of the items that were in dispute but not all. read more

If I could give them zero stars it would be too many. The worst customer service I've ever encountered. Im not even going to waste anymore time on this awful company and experience I had with them. Let me start off by stating I have never been disappointed enough in a business to write a poor review and that is stating a lot because I have been disappointed in the past. However, I wouldn't even give this company a star. I have worked in customer service for almost 10 years in several different verticals and I have never witnessed such poor treatment. The worst part of the entire experience, besides the rude, nearing abusive treatment I received from the employees who work at Woodys, was that the rudest most degrading experience was when I talked to the owner herself. Unfortunate circumstances made it impossible for me to tow the trailer I had rented 6 days prior and I had to cancel my reservation, the implications being I would lose all $449 dollars to this place and would receive a credit for a year for which I couldn't use because I do not have the appropriate vehicle to tow the trailer. Instead of trying to hear my story and provide some level of client consideration, Julie Woody, the owner, cut me off and told me that she was at her son's football game and she needed me to call back tomorrow. Why answer the phone in the first place if you are not able or willing to help a client? I called back the next day, per Julie's instructions, and I received further inappropriate treatment when she told me "You're not the first one to try and use that excuse". She then proceeded to accuse me of lying about my vehicle not having the appropriate equipment to tow the trailer. To add to the already appalling accusations, she started speaking with other customers while I was on the phone and then told me I needed to call back because she had a lot of customers to assist today. I can understand Woody's taking the $112 I already paid for my down payment of 1 day rental fee, but to charge me the entire cost of the rental even though I won't be able to use the credit is simply poor business. It makes this company untrustworthy and I would never advise anyone to conduct business with these people. Why anyone would be willing to deal with such irrational, inappropriate, unprofessional, unkind, condescending abuse from this owner is beyond me. read more

Turned in the RV, everything was ok, 1 month later they hit our credit card for $1,500 for a 1 inch tear on top of the roof they claimed I did. Do not use them. Now I have to go to court to try to get my money back. for something I didn't do. We didn't climb up on top of the motor home to look for tiny tears in the roof, you are at their mercy. read more

If you are looking for quality RV to rent and great customer service, look no further than Woody's RV. This is 2nd year of renting with them for Old Settlers Festival and both times they have gone above and beyond making sure we were happy. Last year we forgot to order items and when we informed Woody's, an employee personally delivered to us. This year when Woody's employee Skyler delivered our RV to campsite, he took the time and care to find the perfect spot! You rock, Skyler. They are good!! read more

I have rented from Woodys on three separate occasions and each time was super easy and hassle free. I tried another place last year and it took us 2 hours to get off the lot because the guy was an overly anal drill sergeant....I was then nervous the rest of the trip because I was afraid I would get charged extra if the trailer got rained on. Woodys will explain everything until you are comfortable but they also realize when you know what you are doing so it's a quick and easy process... just the way I like it. read more

Check their Better Business Rating - I'll save you some time. It is "F". Anyone can post reviews, but the BBB really TRIES to work with the company, and getting an "F" is not easy. The Woody RV site has a button that says "Better Business Bureau Accredited" - which is a blatant LIE. Click the button and you'll see that the BBB says in all caps that it is NOT an accredited business. Let me get on to the review. Woody is cheaper than most places to rent an RV, and they have availability in the summer unlike most places (two more things that should have tipped me off). But things went smoothly during the rental process, and the RV ran great. We had a few problems, like with the battery. But it general, it was just an old RV, no big deal. The real problems started when we went to return the RV. We HAD gone through a short hail-storm with pea-sized hail. The RV was quite old, so two of the older skylights were damaged. But there were no dents or other damage. I figured, that it happened on my watch so I absorb the couple hundred bucks. Well, the bill was a grand total of nearly $5,000. This included repairing non-hail-related roof damage that they said I did, replacing a significant portion of the roof, and removing a scuff mark from the side of the RV under the door for $2,100...among other things. Independent of having me fix damage I didn't do, why was it so expensive? It turns out that Woody has a captive repair place "Top of the Line Auto Body" on site. As far as I can tell, that "business" doesn't exist (no phone listing, no Internet listing)...except that it is the company that is doing the repair. But they "must be good" (sarcasm there) because they charge $180/hour for repairs and over $200/hour for painting. Those rates are nearly double the industry standard. To make this long story end, they have billed my insurance for the $5,000 and immediately hit my credit card for the $1,000 deductible THE DAY I RETURNED THE RV...they KNEW they were going to bill me for a big amount well before any estimates were done. I hope my insurance company is trying to curtail this practice of Woody RV. My opinion is that they get old RVs, send them out with customers, then over-bill insurance to get them fixed-up. Just read some of the other reviews...and rent somewhere else. read more

You would be a fool to rent from this company. Their driver screwed up my property and caused some minor damage to their RV while he was delivering (he drove it under a tree). He was three hours late so i couldn't be there when he was supposed to set it up. Therefore, he didn't set it up and we couldn't get anything to work. When the owner came to pick up she was mad about where her driver parked it. She was cussing and acting like an idiot right in front of my children. They even wanted to cut some of my trees out of their way so they could get out easier. I noticed a week later my credit card had an additional $500 charge from them. When I called her to ask why she explained that I had caused the damage and our contract says i am responsible. I explained to her that we had no contract. We rented the RV over the phone and never signed anything. I hired them (and paid them) to deliver so i wouldn't have any problems. There elderly driver put it where he wasn't supposed to and they wanted me to pay for his error. Ultimately, the credit card company removed their charge. read more

is what it is.. rented an Class C RV for over a week, ran good, some minor issues that i fixed myself like the cable being disconnected from the TV. Getting deposit back was a fun game they played, said they had posted it, and should get back on my card in a few days, a week later nothing went to office, they pulled contract and discovered it had been filed without issuing a refund. a manager came in, swiped my card and issued the refund... showed up on my account 3 days later. would have to say that the office clerk is pretty rude and does not dress like she is working there, one time i was there i thought she was dressed for a swim party, rubber flip flops and all.. i would consider renting an RV again, just not from here. read more

We rented an rv for burning man here after having a terrible and verbally abusive experience with another rv company that offered to give us a broken vehicle for the trip and we backed out of the rental. We thought this place was a god sent but it turned out a terrible experience I would never want to repeat. Among little broken things like the cd player, and wonky kitchen table, and it having dirty socks, and stagnant food in it when we got it, the radiator started leaking on the trip. And then the generator broke! So we were freaking out the entire time wondering if we were even going to make it to our destination and we are hot as hell doing it. We had to make stops and refill the leaking fluid and buy a pan to catch said fluid bc you can't have fluids leaking on the playa. And when we called them they told us to keep driving and refilling. When we finally got there we had prepared for an ac haven and instead we were sleeping and staying outside bc it was unbearabley hot in the rv without a generator. It made us cranky and frustrated to say the least. I'm just happy we are all still friends after the ordeal. I also spent time out of my vacation to let them know about our experience which meant bicycling to a camp on the other side of the playa and hoping I got an internet signal which is taboo anyhow at burning man...the whole point is to be away from the real word. And instead of doing the right thing and offering us a discount for our troubles they said they offered to have us attempt to get their tech into a 400 dollar event, with 70,000 people, in the middle of nowhere, with no cell phone coverage, and that we should have tried to make that ordeal happen on our limited and expensive vacation. Yeah Right! Me, My Friends, and everyone I know in the festival community will be steering clear of this location in future. They have lost my money for all the festivals I regularly attend. I'm at burning man this year without giving them my hard earned cash. Bottom line: You worked hard for your money and your vacation! Don't trust that with this place! read more

I would not recommend you renting from Woody's. I went on line and picked out a camper and dates . After they gave me a quote I agreed to terms. Later they came back and said the specific trailer I wanted was already rented before I gave them my deposit . They wanted to try to rent me another trailer instead of the one I wanted . A typical bait and switch . don't fall for their tricks read more

First time to rent an RV, so to me Woody's is the benchmark. The take-away: This company really wants your business now, and in the future. They invest in their customers, maybe even taking a loss if necessary to make sure that you will return another day. I have no reason to consider any other RV rental than Woody's. The long version: The context: A bunch of us guys wanted to catch the total eclipse in Nebraska and do so on the cheap. Apparently Woody's rental price is a formula that permits you to rent as good as you care to spend. I like that. I also like the fact that we could arrange a class C on such short notice when so many other renters had similar ideas. They staff according to the expected volume of traffic and I came on a low volume day. Nonetheless, everyone on site was exceptionally friendly, the type of friendly where you feel like you are borrowing from a good neighbor rather than from a chain where everything is performed by procedure dictated by corporate headquarters. All rookie questions satisfied. Heard humorous war stories about other renters, which is a great technique of teaching the ins and outs and dos and don'ts without it getting preachy or condescending. Very good customer handling skills. I had a chance to wander around the campus, and the guys prepping the outgoing RVs were cheerfully busting it out in the sweltering heat, making sure that the RVs were good to go despite the shape how some of the previous renters returned them. The RV, while elderly (remember, on the cheap) operated as expected - until the generator stopped working 20 miles off site. It was after hours so we got the answering machine. The on-call guy was out of cell-phone range and could only know through the occasional notice through voice mail. So I broke out the tools to see what was what. If you watch enough RV videos, a common theme is "know how to do repair jobs, there will be plenty of opportunities to gain experience in varieties of maintenance." The problem was a broken wire, due to corrosion. A neighbor supplied some materials to fashion a remedy that would impress MacGyver. By this time, comms were up and we had the team's attention. What I was impressed with is their willingness to let us come up with a solution (since pretty much everything else was rented out). The problem seem to be coming from somewhere else and my RV engineering skills only go so far in the 100+F degree heat. What I didn't know is that they were scrambling to come up with an alternate plan. Before I was ready to throw in the towel another RV became available. It was a newer model with a slightly different floor plan that what they originally provided. We quickly swapped out, concessions were volunteered - in short, for our troubles, we ended up with a much better deal. When we returned the RV, I took another walk about the campus, two guys were doing some serious work on the over-cab sleeping compartment on another class-C. This tells me that they take care of those RVs that owners partner to rent out. Renters may be hell on those RVs, but Woody's works like hell to make sure that no evidence of that remains and the next customer experience is at least as good as or better than the previous. Its just plain hard to find that kind of dedication. read more

As an owner of a Class C motor home that was recently rented through Woody RV Rental, I can tell you about the owner/renter relationship that Woody provides. My wife and I own a fairly new RV and we thought, as I'm sure many people do, that this would be a helpful way to pay off the motor home and possibly a lucrative venture. We were incredibly wrong. The biggest problem with doing business with Woody RV is communication. Let me be clear, after you sign their one year contract and turn your RV over, all communication will cease. Obviously you should expect some damage done to your RV. You should know that when it comes to maintenance on your motor home that any parts that are used, (oils, filters, etc..), will be the cheapest parts in the industry. Any damage that is done to your motor home you will not know about, unless you decide to pick it up for personal use. This can be a big surprise, especially when you see that the original parts, (microwave, fridge, tv, converter), are now smaller, cheaper and has devalued the RV even more than expected. Being a fairly newer company they do not have the capitol built up enough to pay you at the first of each month. They have to wait for renter damage to be repaired and find out how much more they are going to take out of your check for tedious things. We started our rental in June of 2016 and cancelled it in October. During the rental period we received our first check 2 months after we dropped off the motor home. We just received our last check from October on February 1st, 2017. Three of the checks we received had billing errors and had to be corrected. Our 23ft C class was supposed to be a hot rental. In the four months we had it rented we made a total of $1,471.20. This would be considered decent side income except for the fact that we spent $4,412.25 out of pocket, (tires, ball joints, shocks, alignment, skylight leak while on vacation, refrigerator and the list goes on), just to keep it on the road for the renters. Woody RV will be the only one making a profit in your business deal. There are much better places to do business that are a lot less of a hassle. Another note, I can tell you for sure that most of the people that leave Woody RV rentals a good review are personal friends of the owners. I have proof of all things said in this review. read more

I believe this was the 3rd year in a row I used Woody RV for the Old Settlers Music Festival and again Julie and her staff did not disappoint me. This year i wanted to "upgrade" in RV size compared to last year and the young lady (Harley) who took my reservation was fantastic in nailing down the perfect size RV for my needs. She made reserving & booking so easy and seamless. The Old Settlers Festival was in a new location this year so i had no idea where to have Woody spot the RV but I'll tell you this. The person from Woody's who did deliver and spot the RV (i did not catch their name) could not have placed the RV in a better spot and i will be sure to request the same spot next year. :) Let me buy that person a drink! :) And that's not the last of it. Sometimes mechanical issues occur due to nobody's fault and our first day in the RV we realized the hot water heater was not functioning. I called Woody's and did a little trouble-shooting over the phone with a nice young man by the name of Christian and when we were not able to remedy the situation over the phone he gladly made the 45 minute drive to us and fixed the issue within minutes, with a smile! That's great customer service!! Until Woody's proves me wrong, I will always use them for my RV needs. read more

My wife and I have rented RVs every year for the past 5 years. We typically use rental companies in the North Dallas area but heard very good references for Woody RV in Georgetown so we decided to give them a try. We rented their Thor Citation and took it to Colorado Springs for the week. Woody even delivered it to Frisco! The RV arrived in pristine condition both mechanically and cleanliness. Already off to a good start given we have had RVs from other rental companies that needed to be cleaned when they arrived. Chris and Julie made making the reservation a breeze and their prices were very competitive! The trip was wonderful and the RV performed flawlessly. Just a few hours ago, Chris called to check on how our trip went and to let me know that Christian would be arriving shortly to pick up the RV. Walk through was easy and they were off with the RV back to Georgetown. In summary... We highly recommend Woody RV Rentals and will be using them from now on for our annual RV trip to Colorado. read more

We just booked our RV for an upcoming trip to Washington, DC. The staff was extremely helpful, and showed us potential matches for our needs with no pressure. They answered our questions knowledgeably, and had a ton of choices in all price ranges available. The RVs looked clean and neat. Website was easy to navigate, in person experience pleasant, with zero pressure and plenty of help. We homeschool, and I brought my 3 kids with me. One of the guys who was working outside asked if we homeschooled as we passed by. I was ready to defend why I had my kids out in public during the school day. Instead, he shook my hand, commended us, and told the kids how awesome that was. Then asked if it was okay if he got them cookies. There was minimal paperwork, and the whole process of viewing and selecting an RV to sealing the deal took less than half an hour. And they only require payment for the first day in order to secure your reservation. Woody's made a big chore no chore at all! Looking forward to our trip! read more

Mike, Chad, and Chris I believe are all the people I worked with back in January. These guys were great! On short notice these guys set me up in a RV so that my family and I could go on vacation after our original plans did not come through. The day I went to pick up the class C RV they went over everything in detail made sure all was working properly and we were good to go. The original RV that we were set up to take ended up having a faulty generator. After trying for a bit to get it running they decided to move us into another unit without hesitation. We were very happy and the unit was wonderful.. My girls really enjoyed the themselves and we will definitely be renting from Woody's in the future. Felix read more

We used Woody's for the Old settler's music festival this past April and will use Woody's every time we return. Not only is their drop & pickup service very convenient, they put the RV exactly where we requested. They were also readily available for and questions or needs while using the RV. I wouldn't recommend Woody's RV. They run a shady business and don't take care of their business partners (the people who provide their RVs to be rented out). They have traded out license plates between RVs, which is not just unethical, but it's illegal. They don't keep up with vehicle inspections which is also illegal. What a situation to be caught in - renting an RV with the wrong license plate and outdated inspection tag. The owner has no business sense.
