I'm all…read moreabout giving people time, understanding, and the benefit of the doubt, but what happened today went beyond that, it was a complete lack of attentiveness and basic customer service. We were sitting directly at the bar, in plain sight, and the bartender crossed paths with us numerous times throughout our visit. We waited about five minutes before having to flag her down to let her know we already had a to go order placed. Another five minutes went by before we had to flag her down again just to get a drink, and then again to order additional food. When the orders finally came, they were incorrect and incomplete. At no point did anyone seem to care enough to check on us, ask if we needed anything, or even provide the basics without us repeatedly having to get someone's attention. There's more to the story, but this alone paints a pretty clear picture of poor management, zero urgency, and an overall lack of care for the customer experience. Communication also would have been much easier if the bartender hadn't been wearing a headphone while working. The priorities and execution were extremely inefficient, and nothing seemed to be handled in a timely or organized manner. If this level of service continues, I genuinely don't see how this place survives. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I step foot in CJ's Tavern.

Hopefully a food place moves in that they can partner with to increase the possibilities for food beyond frozen pizzas & the pretzel. That is as close to a complaint as I had but the excellence of the twist made up for the lack of options.
