We needed the trees along our driveway trimmed back and the branches overhanging our pastures removed. We also wanted the large oak trees around our house and the large hackberry trees along our fence line trimmed. And we had a LOT of smaller hackberry trees and thorny vines growing up in the fence line on one side of our property that we needed cut back before they damaged the fence. We also needed a stump ground down from a tree we lost a couple of years ago from straight line winds. I called Woody's Tree Service in Denton/Sanger, TX and spoke with Tanisha who set up an appt to come for an estimate that same day. She came by and looked at what needed to be done and gave us a quote which was MUCH more reasonable than two we had received previously. The work was set up to be done the following week and the crew arrived on time as scheduled. Part of the crew started on the fence line while others started on the driveway trees. In total, we had 7 workers on our job. They did an EXCELLENT job of trimming the trees, removing the vines and trees woven into the fencing, grinding the stump, AND cleaning up!! The crew picked up nearly every twig and bit of debris, raked, etc. The place was spotless when they finished! Tanisha and the owner, Martin, came by to check on the crew and to be sure we were happy with the job, which we obviously were. These guys did a fantastic job - trimmed all front shrubs and bushes, and all bushes along our 1/2 acre fence in back yard. They followed all instructions, while offering suggestions. If I could give 10 stars I would. We had a huge Pecan Tree that was between 2 fences, behind a shed. In the branches were 2 power lines. Amazingly complex situation. Woody's crew was so agile, it's was like they were dancing in the trees. It was a sight to see! The service was fantastic! Called Sat, got a quote and by Monday both trees were down. I received a coupon for Woody's Tree Service and thought I would give them a try to trim the overgrown trees and shrubs. I sent an email requesting contact for an estimate and received a response the next day. Benny came to my house the same day to assess the job. He gave me a reasonable quote and was able to get his crew to come out the very same day. The team was hard working and did a great job of trimming and cleaning up the yard. When my neighbor hired Woody's tree service, they took it upon themselves to trespass onto my property and cut and butchered some of my large trees that have taken over 20years to finally look as good as they did. Now they are destroyed, very few branches left and can see sky all the way thru them. They have yet to compensate me for the damages as if the criminal act of trespassing wasn't enough! They neither asked if they could access my property or ask if they could trim my trees. Not only were the trees on my property only but all the limbs stretching out were on my property! The damage is irreversible. Would give them a negative star rating if possible. read more

i had an appointment for some tree trimming estimate no one ever showed or called. i called the office and the lady made all kinds of excuses. i told her that a call would have been appreciated it they could not make it. i told her to cancel my order that there are other companies that will be able to do my work. i cancelled by order with woodys. not great customer service. read more

A sales guy from Woodys knocked on my door and said we had a dead tree, said he could take care of that the same afternoon, also negotiated some additional tree limbing. Walked outside and saw a couple of Woodys employees digging around my sprinkler valve cover on the lawn, said they had ran over it with their truck and would fix it, but didn't have the parts to do so. First of all, dont be driving over the lawn, second of all don't say you fixed the broken valve and sprinkler pipe the next day when you didn't. Wiring was incorrectly repaired, sprinkler system only worked on one station ( I have 14 stations), they used after market parts, not Rainbird, sent 3 emails to their office, no response, called " Chad", their manager ( ?), actually spoke to him twice said he would look into it, never heard back, had to hire a sprinkler repair company for $279 bucks to repair , without water for 2 weeks in August, never a response back from Woodys, very frustrating to day the least. Beware !!!! Do the right thing Woodys, obviously your quick to cash my check but never responded back to your employees negligence, consumer be aware. read more
