This last time I went was busier than I have ever seen it. It was a casual ambiance with board games on the tables. Not much for food here, but some overpriced snacks. It was one of the best wine tastings I did while in Leavenworth! The lady who helped us out was super nice and answered all of the questions we had and was overall pretty engaging with our group. She did tell us that, unfortunately, they do not ship all across the US, so we will have to go back for more bottles, but we really enjoyed their sangria and hard cherry cider. WooHoo Winery is one of our favorite tasting rooms to visit while in Leavenworth. Their red wines are quite good, especially for the price point of ~$30 per bottle when other wineries in town are charging $40-60 for comparable quality. Woohoo did we luck out! We live on the coast, so May was a bit toastier than we are used to. Then we walked down to this super cool and comfy place where we tried a flight of wines. Our favorite for sure was the gluhwine, my German husband and I just loved it. It is served warm, however the cool environment of the shop (in the basement, so the temp is consistently cool) made it an unexpected treat. To be honest, I initially chose WooHoo because the wines seemed a little bit more affordable than other wineries in town, but the wine did not disappoint. The night we visited, it was not that busy. The employee behind the counter was very friendly and definitely exhibited a fun and very customer oriented service approach. They also offer an affordable wine tasting deal with 5 pours for $15. I took off a few stars because although the ladies were nice & friendly, their pours were so little that made me kind of offended. Literally had two sips out of each. Not only do they have a few standard wines, they also have a bottled Sangria and a warm "holiday style" wine similar to a spicy cider or wassle. If you are with a group there is plenty of space to spread out and a diversity of drink types to have everyone find something they like, if not love.
