Ami came out that afternoon for an inspection and provided a quote with multiple options. All were very reasonable. The next day he arrived when stated, safely and efficiently performed the repairs using the proper tools. He went above and beyond by replacing a bracket and securing some others that had worked loose over time. He then cleaned all of the cobwebs off, lubed, and adjusted the door open/close settings. He then showed me proper maintenance procedures to ensure a long life of use from my door. On the way out, he cleaned up the area better than he found it. Highly recommended.

We intended to go elsewhere for several reasons but Jason Wilson, of Wilson Land & Development, insisted we go with Volunteer Hearth & Home and assured us we would get a discount and excellent service. Unfortunately, we succumbed to the relentless insistence and now we're in a legal battle with Jason Wilson from Wilson Land & Development, and soon to be in a legal battle with Shane Turner and Volunteer Hearth & Home. When Shane Turners employees arrived with our fireplace for install, the interior stone was busted in several spots, and they failed to bring the doors. We ASKED countless times for the doors and for them to fix the stone insert to our fireplace. Well, now months later we are taking Jason Wilson and his father's company, Wilson Land & Development to court for several contractual issues, soon to include Shane Turner's company, Volunteer Hearth & Home. We called Shane Turner directly in attempt to keep him and his company out of this unfortunate mess. Shane Turner actually informed us he is not going to give us the doors (which are paid for in full with a receipt for proof) or fix the insert because Jason Wilson told him not to. So, as a favor to Jason Wilson and in fear of losing his business, he's going along with his request. I will be sending an email today explaining the ramifications of this decision to Shane Turner in hopes he will look at his company and his employee's future credibility, notwithstanding just doing the right thing. UPDATE!!! 01-14-26 Well, unfortunately Shane Turner and his company, Volunteer Hearth & Home has chosen not to do the right thing, instead they are going to withhold our purchased property. So now we will be obtaining a writ from the Clerk of Courts in order to force Shane Turner to do the right thing. Please do your due diligence before patronizing this company.

Their carelessness and negligence has taken my home, my family's health and time away from my baby due to health issues, and all possession we own that can't be cleaned. This company installed all new windows in our home ( all but 5 or so). Every window that willow windows installed is soaked and is covered in black mold. We contacted the company once we found the issues. They came to our home and "investigated" the windows. I'm not sure how one investigates an issue without actually looking at the issues. I'm pretty sure they just tapped on the window and said well it's a window it's all good. We have had to hire our own team to investigate the issues because they refuse to do so. We have had to move out of our home because it's inhabitable. We left all our possessions clothes, furniture, toys...everything because how contaminated our home is. I can't be near anything from the home because it makes me so sick that I am down for a few days. We have tried working with this company to resolve the issues but they are unwilling to fix the mistakes they made or even admit they exist. I am disappointed in this company for the neglect, lack of compassion, and the lack of accountability they possess. The owners in particular are the issue. I'm not sure how they can sleep at night knowing what damage they have done to another person. We have a baby..... A BABY.....in this now mold infested home due to their terrible window installation and they refuse to do anything. This company has no morals. As humans.... As parents....
