I have been a frequented patron at this location for 1.5+ years now. - only quirk here is that the locker rooms are really tight. would recommend you show up already changed and plan enough time in your regiment (if you're going to work) to allow for 5-10 minutes to work around people and get changed - equipment is always clean, and the patrons here do a great job of being responsible for their stations - wifi is generally good and not down - staff is as engaging as you want. if you want to keep to yourself they will leave off of you - security system to badge in from outside during off hours makes me feel better about who is inside - parking lot is a good size, have never had to compete for a spot - prices are very reasonable - they have a web site to manage your payments and track your badging activity. was important to me so i didn't feel like my credit card just went into the ether (like it did with Gold's/The Rush) TIP: when you leave do bear in mind you'll have to compete with other whole foods + red light traffic to get onto the highway around papermill. be careful. read more

Sent to collections FIVE years after the cancellation of my membership. I submitted my cancellation five full years ago via certified mail but this business decided to send my account to collections after all this time and I was only notified because a credit monitoring service noticed a new account in collections. You'll be better off paying an extra $5 a month for a lot less hassle somewhere else. If you sign up here please be aware it could legitimately affect your credit. Absolutely absurd for a gym membership. read more

Love This place 24/7 facility badge access one of the few places in town with 24/7 badge access. They have squat rack and bench press obey thing they don't have is a decline bench but you can use their decline bench and use it under the smith machine or use dumbbells. The place would benefit from a bigger facility with more olypticals they do not have a lot of open space but you can definitely get a good workout in there read more

Several people have had their credit ruined because of the lies that they have been told. Your account is closed and we removed your card. I had a membership then Covid hits they close and then i thought my membership was over then i loose my job. then 3 months later i start getting calls from COLLECTIONS companies threatening to sue me for 3 months of membership. I thought they were closed? I was unemployed and not receiving unemployment yet and was told that i could not cancel my membership until dues were paid for a service i never even used.Witch is a terrible thing to do to someone much less during a pandemic. its things like these that open peoples eyes to what companies truly care about and it aint people. read more

Decent equipment, the one star is due to misinformation I received when I joined. I was told that should I wish to cancel I only needed to bring in a letter of cancellation. A month ago, I did just that. I was informed by the staff member at the desk that cancellations are not accepted in person. He said "they" want these to be mailed and "that's how they want it". I mailed the letter the same day. Still getting charged. Beware, if you join and do wish to cancel, send it by mail and get a delivery confirmation. Keep a copy of the letter. If the cancellation drags past a month the letter might be needed to cancel further transactions by your bank. read more

April, the owner is superb and is always there to help you with your fitness and nutrition goals. She is extremely knowledgeable and approachable. Love this little gym and the staff. Very small but they do have most of what is needed to get a good work out. Dislike - it is advertised as services 24/7, but tanning is not. Only during business hours, they should remove the stickers above the tanning bed door that says "tanning 24/7". Just a suggestion. read more

When I'm in Bearden, I love stopping in at Workout Anytime. I am from another location, but I can stop in anytime (even if I just want to use the Hydromassage). That's my favorite part about their memberships, you can go to any location. The staff and owners are so nice to me when I'm there! This gym may be on the small side but it has everything that a fitness beginner or a seasoned athlete might need. They have plenty of cardio equipment, machines and free weights, clean well kept locker rooms, helpful staff, easy access of hours (24hrs for members), and a value price. This particular location is always so hot and musty. They charged me $50 on my last bill when I have the basic $15 a month membership. To cancel you have to have a certified handwritten letter through the post office and it takes 30 days after all of that to officially cancel your membership. Shady company! read more

They were fine initially. Then sent my information to a collection company after I called and got instructions to mail in my cancelation (2 times) and did not go to the gym. Even though I was month-to-month membership Workout anytime has a shady business practice where you have to mail in a letter to their corporate office 30 days before canceling, which I did (twice). To be safe, I also canceled my credit card knowing the shady business of gyms. Even though Ive been on a month-to-month membership and stopped going, they sent my information to a collection agency (NetCollections) for $226.27 for the ~7 months I didn't go to the gym. Based on other reports Ive read, I think they don't do anything with the letters you mail in and try to make it even more difficult to cancel your membership. Dont tolerate these shady practices. read more

A superb gym. Caring, friendly staff. They charged my phone for me. They let you work out there for $5 a day if you aren't a member. Good music, not too loud. Everything is clean. Everyone is cool. The WiFi works. I'm so grateful to have found this refuge of fitness in the maelstrom of consumerism and greed that defines Kingston Pike in 2016. Good place, good people. read more

I have visited multiple workout anytime locations in Tennessee and I would definitely recommend the Bearden location. It appeals to me because I typically have to go very early in the morning, when most other gyms would be closed. April and the other staff are extremely knowledgable and friendly. They offer great personal training, nutrition counseling and bootcamp to help you achieve your goals. I love the community feel of this gym. read more

Terrible gym! Yes it's clean but it's small, never staffed, and when there are staff there they don't help existing clients they only assist in signing up new members. The awful rating comes from their billing practices. I signed up for 12 sessions of personal training and once those were finished and paid for they charged me an extra $144. I called and told them this was a mistake on their part as the sessions were already paid for. I was met with rude remarks, no apology, and it took over a month for them to give me the money back. I was a member of this gym for several months only because it was cheap and didn't have a long term contract but then when I went to cancel, I sent in my letter since they stupidly won't let you cancel in person or by phone and they continued charging me. I called again and spoke to the owner and said I wanted the money back-she said she would look into it and call me back the next day. She never did and I called and tried talking to her for two weeks and she never called me back. Finally, I got her husband (the other owner) on the phone and he was so rude and unapologetic nor did he agree to get my money back. Honestly, pay more for better quality and no hassle. The owners are terrible, the staff ignore you once you're a member and they overcharge you every chance they get. If you choose to go here, check your credit card statements carefully. read more
