The programs are varied and efficient. Matthew does not have a 'drill sargeant' style, so my preconceptions of 'boot camps' are not a problem. It is go your own pace, if you're feeling it or not on any given day, if you can just make it to class, there's a workout for you. 530am class is generally busiest. 630, 730, and 830 classes currently have room for more students. As we were leaving, my sister suddenly began feeling lightheaded like she was going to pass out. She went to get water from the water bottle fountain, but the water was hot and appeared to be unfiltered. We immediately reported the situation to a team member, who said he didn't know what to do, so we asked to speak with the manager. When we knocked on the manager's office door, she did not ask what happened or listen to our concerns. Instead, she immediately told us to leave, incorrectly stated that we didn't have a membership, and instructed an employee to call the police. We were calm, respectful, and simply trying to report a concern and resolve a membership issue. No paying member should be treated this way. I hope corporate investigates this location and provides better customer service training for its staff.

I joined Higher Purpose Fitness 6 weeks ago and I am enrolled in their bootcamp. Today was my last…read moreday. Even though I did not get to my 6% body fat goal, I have lost at least 4.5% in body fat and 10 lbs in weight. That is wonderful and it has kept me motivated. I have always felt more energized after coming back from one of their sessions. Ross, Bethany, Lynn, Sara, and Vivianna are wonderful coaches and they make sure you're exercising to your fullest potential but also staying safe at the same time. They also make sure you're eating correctly by making sure you are posting weekly updates on how you're doing and posting pictures of what you're eating. They always reply back to your posts and messages in about 1 hour on both Facebook and Voxer as well. This is the first time I have been in a bootcamp and even though I have complained throughout, Ross and Bethany never backed down. They've always told me to think positive and think about how far I have come, and that I should be proud of that. They are two coaches that genuinely care about your health, both mentally and physically. They want to help you on your journey to making your dreams a reality.

I love the big windows everywhere which allow for a ton of natural light to come inside. I also enjoy using the indoor/outdoor green space on the bottom floor which has a garage door that can open and close depending on the weather. Very nice during Spring, Summer and early Fall. I never feel like I have to wait for equipment to free up, and they do offer complimentary towels at the front desk upon check-in. This athletic club is on ClassPass and I typically just purchase gym time using a couple credits or I sign up for the circuit or conditioning classes.
