Having purchased at least 15 cars from dealers in our lifetimes, this was the WORST experience that we have ever had. The salesman, Alex, made promises that he didn't keep; the general manager, Mugresh, has a quick temper, and broke promises as well, and now, three months after the sale we still have not received a full-size spare and rim that were part of the original negotiations for the truck. Instead, the dealer attempted a bait and switch with a used donut. We called dozens of times, including the number listed here in the reviews for the owner; however, we were unable to reach him and we talked instead to Damien in Florida, but he couldn't do much to help us. Buying a car is generally an exciting event. However, World Auto Chevrolet GMC turned it into a miserable experience. I strongly suggest that you drive a few extra miles to Odessa/Midland where you have more vehicle selection, and more choices in reputable dealerships. read more

My family was traveling across west Texas to visit friends & family in Abilene and Dallas when my Cadillac broke down on I-20 in Pecos. AutoZone scanned the OBDII and determined it was a bad throttle position sensor. Shops in town were not answering their phones and the closest rental car locations were in Odessa and Midland. The service at the dealership was my family's last option and only hope...fortunately, they came through. It took a little time, but they fit our vehicle in, replaced the throttle body, and got my family back on the road without an appointment. I truly appreciate what they did, especially since I was not with my family at the time and had to arrange this over the phone. This sort of response seems rare these days and I am very grateful for their understanding. I highly recommend World Auto's service department! read more

I thought for sure this visit would cost me over 1000.00 for my air conditioner, however, I was pleasantly surprised when they found the issue was only a fuse. I was in and out with no problem and back on the road with my ac blowing cold! I am thankful for my dealership here in Pecos. read more

My husband and I purchased a 2017 Toyota Tundra back on 3/28/22. We Live in SC, but my husband works in TX, and liked the truck so traded his old truck in for an upgrade. When it got close to the 30 day mark I stated trying to get tags for the truck. After I paid the taxes on the truck I went to the DMV to get the tag and registration card, and found out that World Auto GMC had not sent the title to the DMV to switch the title over to us and the lien holder they still had it in office. I called up to the GMC and couldn't get an answer as to why. So, my husband went up there. They stated they mailed it. I had waited a few days, and back to the DMV, SAME THING. My husband went up there they had they title, and said they were sending it that day. SAME THING 2 MORE TIMES! I had flew out to TX to talk with them and see what could be done my self. and they told me to go to my DMV to see if I could bring in the paper work. So once again, I go up to the DMV they stated I could. I called GMC to let them know I could to get it sent to me and a tracking number so I know it was done, and they wanted to call me back. I waited 3 hours and no call back. Every time they say they will call they don't unless they are trying to get money. My husband went back up there, and they stated they spoke with me and it was fixed. When it wasn't at all. We just want the title sent to the DMV so we can get our tags and not be driving with out tags. its been 65 days, and hasn't gone any where. please save your self time and a headache by going somewhere else. - Our first contact was with Briana on a Saturday she assisted us through our application process. She was very helpful and prompt in responding to our questions. We were interested only in one vehicle a Scat pack Dodge Charger we explained that to her and our situation. We provided all documents that were requested from us. By that following Thursday we called the office and spoke to a member who let us know we were approved and we got the car. We asked if there was anything we needed to ensure we had everything we needed before traveling out to Pecos, Texas which is 3.5 hrs away from our location. We were told all we needed was our $1,000 down payment and insurance binder for the vehicle. We planned to travel out that weekend and scheduled an appt for that Saturday at 6pm. We received an appointment reminder that day we confirmed we would be heading out and confirmed our appointment. We were told to ask for Lindsey when we arrived and were told she would be taking care of us. That morning I called the office to request information to have insurance binder ready- I spoke to Lindsey and she said she knew nothing on our loan- she stated she was not the person who assisted us and said she would call back with the information I requested for the insurance binder. I never received a call back. Our insurance agent asked for the dealership phone number to request the information needed. The insurance agent called and then text me as we were already making our way to Pecos informing us that Lindsey mentioned she was trying to get a hold of us- we had no missed calls or text messages. I sent Lindsey a text asking her what it was she was needing- received a response 40 minutes before arriving to the dealership, I let her know we would be arriving soon. When we arrived, we were asked to sit at a desk- Lindsey greeted us and informed us that the vehicle was sold earlier that Saturday morning!!!!!! We were outraged at how unprofessional this dealership was in informing us- there were several opportunities for Lindsey to have reached out to us and the least she could have done was told us someone was interested in the vehicle we were approved for, we informed her of this and the fact that we traveled out for the car was a huge waste of time and money spent on gas - she had no concern for the matter nor showed any empathy. She in turn said, "Don't worry you are approved, I have several Chargers!!". WE DID NOT TRAVEL TO PECOS for any Charger we traveled specifically for this Charger Scat pack- we mentioned prior to that we did not want to waste our time and if we were not approved or if it was NOT going to happen to not waste our time and money in traveling out. We were told we were approved and all that we needed was the down payment and the proof of insurance. At this point Lindsey was trying to save herself and the deal and proceeded to tell us they needed documents that we had already provided. WHY tell someone they are approved if there are still pending items? It did not make any sense at all and was very unprofessional. Lindsey was told in person how poorly she handled the situation and how she could have easily called or text us as she had been. She chose not to and at the end of the day it was to make another sale thinking she could fit us in "another" Charger. She was very rude and if we were not decent people we could have stooped to her level, but we chose the alternative route. At this point nothing we said or did could change the fact that the car we traveled was SOLD that morning and not even an ounce of courtesy or sympathy was regarding to us by Lindsey. At no point in time did Lindsey apologize for what she did. She tried to blame Briana and even said Briana would get an ear full. This by far has been the worst experience we have had shopping for a vehicle, because of the poor treatment we received we DO NOT recommend. read more
