While she was occupied, I (being an old facilities guy) walked around the campus looking at the facilities. This is a beautiful campus located just east of downtown Circleville. The buildings are relatively new and appear to be well-maintained. The only building I was actually in was the main campus center. There was a nice snack bar / seating area, restrooms, classrooms and exhibit space. I can't speak to the academic program but would assume that any university with "Christian" in its name would be a very conservative institution.

This university hijacks the name "Christian"; however, they do not support many Christian ideals…read moresuch as the Great Commission. In other words, they do not support students going on missions trip. 0 flexibility. Additionally, some professors push ideals on students they ultimately speaks to God not being real (opposite of Christianity). They also do not help students find summer employment.

The teachers acted as if they didn't care, didn't really provide direction and leadership to the students or know how to handle the students. The teacher turnover is quite high. We were there only two years and we witnessed 8 teachers leave for better places. With the new superintendent coming in, she fired over 80% of the staff. As a parent, when we send emails or voicemails to talk to the teacher about our child, they would ignore our emails & calls to the point we had to go to the Principal, Mr. Fluhart who really didn't do anything. They started a new learning model which is project based but the teachers do not know how to implement it & the kids are confused. I feel my child took a step back with the bad teaching & leadership academically. I would not recommend spending your money to send your child to this school. I was very disappointed. My child socially enjoyed the school but academically, the teachers and the administration did not care and it is going to show on their test scores with the state. Save your money and send your child elsewhere!!!!

Was in a database class and notified the professor on week 2 that I could connect to the database with thier methods .... He made time for me 2 weeks later to resolve the issue while marking down all my assignments reducing my grades slightly. No resolution found so I tried dropping out cause week5 grades I starting getting bad marks cause I couldn't connect. The student advisor told me I'd withdrawl after 2 weeks of in activity. Week 7 I was still in the course the professor forced then to give me an F and pay for a class that did me nothing but gain debt. I filed complaints and everything but they made money and blamed me not thier crappy professor. BTW I left devry from a similar situation years b4 and they swore this would never happen again. They create failing programs with third party tech to purposely fail you if they see a way to steal your money. Save yourself and go somewhere else!!!​

I have been only to the gymnasium inside the high school when I volunteered for my work's…read morepresentation of reality days. It is right inside the front and just passed the main office. The only thing I really recall is that I don't want to use the students restrooms. There was no toilet paper or paper towel available. As a result I always use the staff restroom in the office. This time I was there for a softball game so I only was outside at the Varsity Field. Parking is quite convenient and the field and seating is pretty good. I sat on the bleachers right behind the backstop and had a great view. The scoreboard was a little out of my line of sight but it was easy enough to see it . Unfortunately, my team lost, but it was a good game. Very convenient to see my team play.

Of course, we were here for the playground. And it's a bit old and rundown, and there was some trash, so, maybe it's not part of the current school. You can see it right on Havens Corners, right beside the Lincoln HS stadium. Baby K and I saw it from the car, so we stopped in. (Passed a couple of churches with nice playgrounds, but also fences or signs warning away the rabble.) It's big, and has some nice modern-ish equipment plus some older metal stuff. Lots of climbing areas, a couple of slides, a smaller playground for little kids. I guess Baby K wasn't taken with it because she wanted to leave after 10 minutes or so, an assessment I agreed with.
