Last October I found my dream Cobalt Cuddy cabin 243 from a private seller living on lake Norman. I live across the country in Reno, NV and the boat had no trailer for transporting it. I called around to a few dealerships in the area, but when I spoke to Mike at Boat Sales of Lake Wylie I knew I had found the place to get the trailer. Over the phone Mike was very responsive to helping spec the trailer out and always there to answer questions and concerns. Plus got me a great price on the EZ Loader tandem axle trailer. After a 2500 mi drive I arrive to Lake Wylie and meet Mike and the team at the dealership, and get to see the new new trailer. Beautiful heavy duty trailer that exceeded expectations. The plan was to pick the trailer up the next morning (a Friday), load my boat at Lake Norman and head home. Well, when the trailer came out of the water all the trailer lights had gone out. I knew that wouldn't work for a 2500 mi trip home. So at 2pm Friday I call Mike and tell him what's going on and he says get the trailer and boat back here and we will figure it out. Now it's about 3 pm when I get back to the dealership and the guys from the shop and parts department are all over it trying to problem solve the electrical issue. Anyone that has worked on wiring issues knows it can be a frustrating journey chasing a short, but these guys by 4:30pm found it and got me on my way home. I've got to say in all my years I've never had a friendlier caring group as these people are working together in a business. It helped reaffirm there's still hope for our society...lol. I've ran corporate business operations for a few decades before retiring and I would be proud to have had any of the people at Boat Sales as an employee. They sent me pics, and I agreed to have it replaced. Good price and service. I took the boat to the ramp for a test drive, the motor started well and then stopped. I inspected the motor and noticed the fuel line had been cut/broken. I called, and they sent a tech out to the boat ramp, and I was back up and running in under an hour. I'm very happy with the customer service and price. I'll be back for all my service needs.
