I loved the food truck so I was excited to find out they had a location in Hollywood. Tried it out, I got the seafood deluxe (great choice) and the griot (good not great I wish this had a thicker cut sweet plantain)... service was eh and not so welcoming looks like the employees had a long rough day to be honest. I get it maybe they worked a double. I had asked for a cup for water and was told that their cups aren't good (weird) but they offered me to buy the bottled water which is fine. But what do you mean your cups aren't good for water lol. Atmosphere was boring there's no music they have TVs but they aren't on... the restaurant looks interesting art is cool and location is pretty clean. I don't know maybe if I just picked up and left that would have been a better experience but then what's the point of having an actual restaurant.... I'll try a different location next time. First time trying this kind of food (never tried this style of egg rolls before) and it was 5/5. It was really crunchy and all the fillings were super tasty, both egg rolls were delicious so couldn't pick up a favorite. The place was clean and very spacious with all the condiments you might need. I'm not really into Sauces but they put 4-5 small cups of different ones that were all very good. I left the place thinking about when would it be next visit and what other egg rolls to try. Few days later ordered a delivery through Ubereats and it was delicious once again (ordered seafood deluxe and gyros roll). Definitely a place worth the visit if you want some fast and tasty food and totally different. I don't know if these are being franchised or if the Hollywood location is somehow different, but I am SORELY disappointed with the experience of trying to get food here. For the most part, I like the actual food that I've tried (a few variations of eggrolls, the wings, the chicken & red velvet waffle and the 7up cake, which was the only thing I wasn't crazy about because it was very dry). The people that work there are HORRIBLE with the exception of ONE girl, ONE time (wish I had gotten her name). First experience (4/9/21): I ordered online for a particular pick-up time. It wasn't ready at that time, staff was inattentive and it took a while to get someone's attention. I had to wait about 10 minutes for it to be ready. Next experience (4/29/21): I REALLY wanted to try the Philly Cheesesteak roll, but I wanted to do a Mix & Match and it wasn't an option in the Hollywood online ordering. Even though I HATE calling orders in (it's more efficient to do it online because it's faster, easier, there's no miscommunication, many reasons) I wanted to get the Philly roll in the Mix & Match. So I called. The girl that answered said, "can you please hold" and I said okay. She kept me on hold FOR SEVENTEEN MINUTES. About 12 minutes in, I called from another phone in case there was some kind of issue or she literally forgot. She put me on hold AGAIN. At NO point did she even bother to come back and check on me or ask if I could keep holding, on EITHER line. After over 17 minutes on one line and over 5 on the other, I hung up. Putting a customer on hold for 5 minutes with no communication is bad, SEVENTEEN minutes is unacceptable and inexcusable. I went and got food from somewhere else. After that, which was in APRIL, I had sent a message (including the details of said experience) and asked when/if they would put the Philly Cheesesteak roll in the Mix & Match options because it was missing. I got no response to my email, so I tried Facebook and was told they were working on it. More than 3 months later, in AUGUST, it's STILL not available. Next experience (6/11/21): I went inside to order thinking that might be better. Nope. The girl behind the counter was borderline rude. She was like, "yes?" and when I tried to order she said, "I can't hear you, speak louder!". They said it would be about 20 minutes so rather than wait there, I ran into Target to grab a few things. I got back 20 minutes later and my order wasn't quite ready. Took another 5 or so minutes. Last experience (6/23/21): Ordered online for a particular time. Order wasn't ready, staff was inattentive and it took a while for anyone to acknowledge that I was standing at the counter even though there was a girl just wiping off tables. The other girl was putting together orders (I guess, I was the only one there at the time). If the one behind the counter was too "busy" to even say, "I'll be right with you", the one wiping tables right next to me could/should have stopped that and offered to help in some manner. I had to wait about 7 minutes for it to be ready. 8/10/21: Was thinking about ordering again, but yesterday and today the Hollywood online ordering isn't working (just Hollywood as far as I can tell). I will NOT order in person and FOR SURE not by phone. I would go more often if it wasn't such an ordeal, but at this point, I might be done. UPDATE 9/8/21: They may know how to run a food truck AWESOMELY, but they don't seem to understand how to run a brick and mortar. The online ordering for the Hollywood store apparently was fixed. I placed an order for chicken and waffles (because I had sent a dm through FB to ask if there was any restriction on "breakfast" items, was told they are available ALL day and I had previously SUCCESSFULLY ordered it in June). They called me right back and told me they don't have it, chicken and waffles "is only for breakfast". They offered to do chicken and waffle eggrolls as a substitution, but A. it's not an equitable sub; C&W costs more, and 2. if you have the items to make the eggrolls, why can't you just NOT chop up the waffles? So I just asked for a refund. Then I went the next day and just got eggrolls and now they have printed menus with the "Breakfast" category. But guess what? IT DOESN'T STATE THE HOURS THAT IT'S AVAILABLE. This is not helpful. read more

I think I'm done with World Famous. I stopped in once and ordered shrimp/veggie eggrolls and a falafel eggroll. Only got to try falafel (and it was good) because after ordering and waiting on my order, I was told the shrimp veggie roll didn't cook properly (whatever that means). I also ordered onion rings and was told afterwards they weren't available either. I visited again to find out falafel, shrimp, veggie stirfry, "none of the veggie" options were available. I had to go for lunch at another restaurant because I don't eat meat. That's 2/2 times that this place had a weird outcome when I tried to place orders for items on their menu. read more

Checked out the food truck for the first time in Palm Bay FL was super excited by the reviews! Waited in line a solid two hours with many many others for a chance to try the food. Two suggestions - one- post your prices - many people waited so long and got up to the window and had hard core shock. You have multiple menus boards and amazing pictures but conveniently no prices anywhere to be found. So you get the okie doke at the window. Ours was $74 for two people 2 drinks 2 meals 2 desserts the people ahead of me was $130 for a family of 5. Seeing the shock of the prices on peoples faces as we waited for food was amazing. Second post what you are sold out of. It's as simple as scribbling it in a piece of paper and posting it on your truck. Don't have people waiting for what they are hoping to eat for no reason. Just better customer appreciation and service. Strawberry lemonade was the bomb then again after 2 hours in the sun any cold drink would be amazing! read more

This is one of the worst places I've ate at in awhile. There is always a long wait and it seem like they don't have adequate staffing. I came there on 12/6 and my food was wrong and I never received my sauces! Now the other girls I know who are always on POINT and WELCOMING are Kay and Shanice that weren't there. This place finally opened near me. I've heard from friends how delicious it really is so I had to check it out. I called in my order while we were at target... the philly steak and cheese, the jerk pork, henney wings and the parm garlic fries. They sounded busy, and sure enough when I arrived they were nuts, Uber eats orders, call ins, people picking up as well as people eating there. You can tell the staff needed some help but they handled everything perfectly! I got in line, paid, and the girls quickly got me my order packed up. I think you're getting a real bang for your buck here. The prices are very fair. The food is something different than you usually see or get so I love that. Ordered my egg rolls from Uber Eats after hearing so many great things about this place. It did not disappoint. I got the soul food egg roll and the cheesesteak egg roll. The soul food egg roll was A-MAZING. The cheesesteak egg roll was a safe pick for me. But, nevertheless, still tasted phenomenally. Had the Banana pudding cheesecake and it was just okay. Decided to try this new place after hearing all the hype. The inside decor was pretty nice. We ordered the 2 eggroll combo and some hot wings. The eggrolls are pretty big. We got the chicken sandwich eggrolls and philly cheese steak. The chicken sandwich one was good filled pretty well the sauce complimented it well. I didn't notice any pickle in it. The cheese steak one was cold when it came out and one was noticeably empty, and dry. I think a sauce would've complimented it well oriftherewere onions or green peppers just to give it some freshness. The dragon sauce was good. I wish there was a sauce menu because they seem to have a variety of sauces. Overall I think a spicy sauce would be nice togive the eggrolls a little kick. The wings and french fries were delicious. Definitely going to try this place again and try other eggrolls and the red velvet cake! read more

Giving this place a 2-star rating since we just ordered take out. The place was clean (the one in Hollywood). The egg rolls are so-so. We ordered the philly cheese and the buffalo chicken ones. They're okay with the dip. Without it, it's nothing. Also, you have to eat it while it's hot. Not good to re-heat. The last time, we got the seafood and the hibachi. If this is the same company who's food truck used to go to Flamingo Gardens food truck night, then I have tried them before and loved them. So after a night of drinking, wanted something bad & greasy so we yelped and found them. I like to eat my fried food right away because I hate when the condensation from packaging softens the food. So we decided to go to the Hollywood location so we can sit & enjoy right away. The atmosphere was a little strange. Our kids were like, "it's weird in here, no music or anything". I ordered the Philly cheesesteak & chicken parm rolls and a side of fries to share. My kids went on & ordered theirs along w fries too. I then asked the guy at the register if the fries are big enough to share. He said no. So I said "ok just keep 2 of the side of fries please". For drinks I asked for a small coke as I noticed different cup sizes by the register. The guy didn't say anything and just pointed towards the fridge behind me. In other words (because he didn't speak) they only have bottled sodas. Ok, fine. The food (4 meals) was delivered in about 15 mins as promised which was good. So my Philly cheesesteak was ordered as A Chicken Philly, my husband offered to ask them to change it but since it was on the receipt and I'm not that picky, I just decided to eat it even though it looked really dry. My husband and kids enjoyed their meals but I really couldn't finish mine. To me the quality just wasn't there. I hate to say it but I felt like I was eating school cafeteria food where the chicken was not fresh and dry. Didn't even taste the cheese. The chicken parm one was a little better but still didn't enjoy it and didn't finish it due to the quality of the chicken. Now to the fries. Even though I only asked for 2 orders, we still got charged for 3 - whatever- ok we'll eat them. Well, nope! The fries (I can't believe I'm going to say this) we're the worst fries I've ever had. They were dusted with burnt....I don't even know what it was! The oil they fried them in must've been dirty from something else that was charred in there and ended of stuck on the fries. I was trying to shake it off but it was way too much (See picture). My son said they tasted like what "New York smells like" lol. His words-not mine! As much as their egg rolls are good they staff is going to bring this place down everyone in there has a terrible attitude. Last time I ordered online I paid for it online I get to the store past the pick time and the lady tells me they didn't get the order even though I paid for it. So I had to wait 25min because we are a family of 5 hence ordering online. Today was the second time I ordered online and prepaid. I decide to call the store to make sure they got my order and all I get is a busy signal you know like the 1 you got on the 90s? I get there get my order and she tells they were out of one of my items would I like a substitute. I said no thank you, but how do I get my money back because I already paid she sucks her teeth and the other one practically throws the refund across the counter. We tried the Korean BBQ, Chicken/waffle, and Philly Cheesesteak. All 3 were tastilicious but the Korean BBQ was the favorite, especially with that orange crack cocaine yang sauce. Even though they were out of macaroni (which we were gonna order for the toddler consumers) and the service was slower than expected, the young man who took our order was apologetic and comped us in surprisingly un-Miami way.
