He really took his time to walk us through the menu and helped us figure out exactly what to order, which made the experience so much easier (and better). That kind of service goes a long way, especially when you're tired from traveling. We ended up getting the Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich meals, and let me just say... this meal is officially one of my favorites now. The sandwich was perfectly made crispy, flavorful, and that honey butter combo was chef's kiss. Was looking for a quick lunch in the Dania Point area and stopped into PDQ. Entered a few people in line ordering from a kiosk. Know one was at the register so I waited to order at the kiosk. My husband and I both ordered the salad with fried chicken. Order came out quickly. Chicken was tender and tasty. The salad could have been a bit fresher. I ordered the $12 deal through DoorDash and it's pretty much worth the money. The cookie was absolutely delicious but the rest of the food was alright. The garlic bread was kind of bland and stale and so were the fries. The chicken had a lot of breading but was still good. We are kind of a mixed experience on this visit. It was our first time at this location and we were here right when the store opened. They open at 11 o'clock and I tried the door at 11:04 and it was still locked. I could see a couple of people inside having a bit of a conversation so we waited. A gentleman who I presume was the manager finally walked over and unlocked the smallest padlock I've ever seen that was holding the door shut. After he unlocked the lock, he made sure the door was open and just walked away. I was surprised because I have been to other locations when they opened, and whoever opened the door usually held the door for us to get in. This man was clearly just very self-absorbed in himself. We received good service when ordering, and our food was ready quickly. Everything was made to order and It was exactly how I ordered it. I ended up getting four tender meal with fries and bread and a drink. I ordered my tenders tossed in the barbecue sauce, but realized that they have a teriyaki available. I asked if I could change it and the person in the kitchen said it wasn't a problem for them. The tenders were not fully covered in sauce, but there was plenty in the basket to make sure they were. I did get some of the barbecue sauce on the side, which I was using for the fries and bread. I also upgraded my drink to their lemonade because it is really good. They have up charges for the lemonade and the sauce of your wings and the only other thing I might order was a bottle of water. In total, it was almost $20 for the meal. I was a bit disappointed that they only had four or five tender choices for the meals and no longer the three tender meal. Four is actually more than I should be having at one time. I still enjoyed the meal and got a refill of my lemonade before we left. If not for what we witnessed from the manager while we were there, I would probably give them five stars. read more

Free standing PDQ in Dania Pointe with a drive thru with optional outside patio seating. They have two digital kiosks available for ordering and payment but I always choose to order through the human cashier. The classic chicken sandwich with waffle fries are always a big hit with me. The chicken was plump and tender. The fries were lightly salted and mildly crispy. There are two touch screen fountain soda machines but one was broken with no ice. The bathroom was modern although slacking on unkeep which could be easily resolved with an employee thirty minute cleanliness chart for optimum results. I came here because my coworkers raved about it being a better version of Chik Fila, however, that was definitely not the case when I came on a Friday night around 8-8:30. There was no customers and I was able to place my order on a self serve kiosk. After I paid, they gave me a cup to fill my drink with the free style machine. I had barely put ice in my cup when they called my name for my order. That should have been my first clue, but I'm used to places like Raising Canes who have fast service so it didn't immediately raise any red flags. Some of my fries must have been left over from a previous batch because some of them were super hard (over fried). The chicken tenders were ok but nothing to write home about. The honey mustard was a little thicker than I'm used to but again average. My sweet tea was okay as well. I came in this afternoon only because I had an offer for a free chicken sandwich with any purchase, as one can see the credit on the receipt I've posted. It was dry, rubbery, and tasteless. Look at the picture of the chicken I posted. If I had to pay full price, my meal would've been about $11. If I had fries, then it would've been $14. The music was too loud, and the soda and condiment area was dirty, along with the floor and several of the tables. The two Coca-Cola Freestyle machines both had issues. One of them half the flavors were not available, I.e. Vanilla Coke, Cherry Coke, etc., and the other machine's seltzer water was flat, as in not carbonated. There's a reason they're never busy, while Chik-Fil-A has a line of cars around their buildings, a packed dining room, and a dedicated pick-up/delivery area that's always crowded. Service is usually quick in the drive thru. Sometimes the inside is a bit disorganized with picking up food. One time I had to go back because they forgot to put fries in my bag. The chicken tenders are good. I usually get the Spicy tender with regular buffalo sauce. Today I tried their chicken nuggets and didn't like it. Ill continue with the chicken tenders instead. Also, I wasn't a big fan of the PDQ sauce either. The best part of the meal was the waffle fries. The fries came out really fresh. I do enjoy PDQ lemonade and sweet ice tea drinks. PDQ usually takes longer than other fast food restaurants because they actually cook the food to order. That is okay in my book. This sandwich is the best one I have had at any PDQ. The chicken was really big and had great flavor. The bun was so soft. The fries were pretty hot. Usually they give more of them. I love Cheerwine which is a soda and they sell it here. This was no Chick-fil-A by any stretch! None of us really finished our meals. The chicken nuggets were just OK and didn't really have much flavor to them. My son's honey butter chicken sandwich, but the bun was a bit soggy. My mac and cheese was gross with the noodles clumping together and wasn't anything like what was described on the menu with panko crumbs, etc. It was dried out and I could only get a few bites down. Do like the Coke Freestyle machines and the home brewed sweet tea, but the paper straws they offer are garbage. You can barely get through your drink before they turn into a complete mess. I live in the Dania area so I eat here all the time because it's convenient and the food is always fresh unlike other fast food chains but i went there for 2 PDQ salads on Tuesday June 3rd, 3 women were working and a male manager, I received the salads with cold chicken and asked the staff to please replace the cold chicken with fresh, hot chicken in the most polite way possible to not upset anyone. They made it seem as if it was an issue but proceeds to remake the salads. I then received the salads again and leave and by the time I made it home to enjoy the salad I noticed half of the chicken was cold and half of it was warm. I was very disappointed so I went back to PDQ and asked that they make the salads over again with fresh hot chicken. The manager explains that he did cook the chicken fresh and it was hot but I explained to him that half the chicken inside the salads were cold and half of the chicken was warm and then I asked is that the way they serve their salads to their customers and says no, after he says that he'll make it over and as he goes to the back and waits for the fresh chicken to finish I notice the woman that was working at the window starts to gossip to the other woman who was behind the kitchen making the food; about my wife and I wanting fresh chicken so I assumed they were upset that they had to make the salads over. As they continue to gossip the woman that was making the food had a very nasty unkind look on her face and proceeds to start throwing the orders in a very aggressively upsetting manner, 2 were chicken nuggets with fries and the 2 salads, she threw 1 of my salads so hard that it spilled out of the tray and she had to make it over AGAIN which was disappointing because I was very nice to them the whole time, not once was I rude to any of the staff members. The manager gives me the salads with the fresh chicken and even hotter than the first two batches, on the side. I expressed my concerns and I thanked him and left as me and my wife leave a burst of laughter shouts out from behind the counter. For a customer that eats there regularly I have never experienced this from this location, the chicken is always good and fresh but I guess someone upset them that day to take it out on us. So incredibly disappointed with this pdq and the quality of the order I received today. The girl that took my order was great. She was incredibly nice and efficient. She told me that my receipts would be at the pickup window. I am now getting home (in Davie) and my 2 orders of waffle fries (that come with the large family meal) are not in the bag. Also, the tenders used to be nice and thin strips. Today they are mammoth 1/2 sized chicken breasts. It makes no sense. The girl at the pickup window was also incredibly rude and completely cut me off mid sentence when I asked for PDQ sauce. Not thrilled and actually a wasted $50.
