My wife and I bought a rug online, when it arrived at the store I went to pick it up and everything went smooth. Got home and the rug had obviously been sitting in a damp area for a long time because it was damp, had mildew and some mold. So obviously took it back for a refund. Well this is where the 1 star comes in. The manager there tried to short change me the taxes stating he can't refund taxes if it was bought online stating I paid taxes in another state. After calling BS and getting stern to the point of argumentative he finally refunded the taxes too. His excuse was taxes are like shipping and handling and he can't refund that which totally BS. Shoppers beware they will try and steal your money if you return online purchases not sure about in store. Won't step foot or spend another dime in any world market. read more

Stopped by world market to pick up a greeting card and a gift. Their selection of greeting cards was quite good and they had so many thoughtful gifts to choose from. I love their exotic candle scents and they even had a splash of LGBTQ pride colors! read more

I love the Greenville store! They are always so helpful and friendly. And when you're a member of their rewards program World Market Explorer, you can get coupons and be notified of sales by email daily. I've been very happy with the quality of furniture purchased from them. If a piece just doesn't fit or look right, they are quick to make a refund with no questions. The selection of wine and specialty foods is great, and I love their greeting cards! And can you say kitty grater? Oh, meow! Overall, a fun store to shop! read more

WHAT DON'T YOU CARRY? We recently stopped by this store to purchase some international treats for our daughter. However, as we walked around, we noticed that this store has a bit of everything, furniture, food, toys, furniture, home decor accessories, art, wine, fresh ground coffee, gift items and the list just goes on. If you are interested in European snacks or just something different this store has great options. If you are needing to decorate your home with furniture or accessories, you can find some great options here. They had simple tables with bench seating and a really cool space-saving table with retractable chairs. It would be the perfect set for a small space. Now that Christmas is on the horizon, you can find ornaments, and holiday decor. My husband and I enjoyed perusing the toy department because they had some old school items that we had enjoyed at one time. I was really surprised by the card/ gift bag section because although I have visited the World Market stores before, I have never noticed this section. It is a great addition to a "one stop shopping" kind of store. We went in there to purchase some items. On checking out the price according to the sticker was different from what was shown. I asked to speak to a manager her name was Doris she came to help. She was so aboszultley rude and said she could not see the black out price because the lighting in the store was off. I asked then nice cashier and he said he def could see the different price. I would of bought the item if she was not so rude or offered a small discount. She also said the price had gone up so why leave the original price on the item. read more

Cost plus really is a great store with amazing products and I love their selection of goods! That being said, the last 2 times I went in there the customer service was so awful. I asked for help finding a product they had online and Nathalie really couldn't be bothered to help. She seemed annoyed that I even asked her a question. She didn't find the product, but I did on my own later while I was just meandering through the aisles. The next time I went in, again, Nathalie was the only associate on the floor I could find and I asked for her help, this time with the purchase of an expensive rug. I thought maybe last time she had a bad or stressful day, these things happen but again, she was just so dang rude to me and clearly did not want to help. It's a shame because I love cost plus and want to keep shopping here at the Greenville store, but the actual shopping experience there has just been so unpleasant recently I'm not sure I will. read more

My mom and I came to this location to get stuff for an Oktoberfest party we are having. Harold, a sales associate, came out and asked us if we needed any assistance, and we immediately recognized his German accent. He gave us SO many great tips and ideas for the party, and he spent about 20 minutes helping us find everything we needed. He was so patient and helpful and made our experience amazing! read more

Even though I almost never buy anything, I love visiting World Market just for the ambiance and to puruse their goods. They have the best non American chocolate they import from abroad. I think it tastes much better than the candy that is usually sold in the states. read more

Calling World Market a "furniture store" isn't entirely accurate; there are one or two other things in there. It's like a cross between Pier 1 and an international food store. There is a nice selection of wines, spices and condiments from cuisines around the world, candies, dried fruits, curries, tika marsalas in jars, cookies, imported chocolate, gourmet teas and coffees, pastas, sauces, flavored syrups, Dr. Oetker baking mixes, on and on and on. Some of the things that have caught my eye are Ritter Sport candy bars from Germany, Gümmi Bears, Develey Curry Ketchup, real Madagascar Bourbon vanilla extract (the best), a complete selection of Ghirardelli premium chocolates and cocoa powders (including large bags of their double chocolate chips for baking), products by The Ginger People such as candied organic ginger and ginger syrups that are probably the best in the world, Bosco chocolate syrup (hooray!), and this is the only place I can find imported Hengstenberg Bavarian style Wine Kraut--I refuse to use anything else, and once you try it so will you. If you are the least bit curious about trying something exotic and high quality, stop by here. The international markets in Atlanta dwarf this store by comparison, but this isn't bad for Greenville. It'll do in a pinch. Oh, and they sell furniture. read more

Really enjoyed browsing this store and since it was my first time there will definately be another....I really went for one thing and that was Happy Hippos..its a little treat that I fell in love with while visiting in Germany. However I think they are highly overpriced..I pay 1.50 euro for them in Germany for 1 box of 5 and to pay almost $5.00 for box is a little crazy.. I guess I will have to stock up on them before I come back from my next trip. read more
