I don't care too much for the furniture because it's expensive, but sign up for their rewards program and you can get discounts! The stuff that I was really excited about was the food and drinks from all over the world. I picked up some sauerkraut, beets, and chocolates. I saw some ube jam, but I held back because I already had so much that I did not need. I am going to go back because I did not even get to see half of the store.

I love this store! Sometimes I go there to get a cute gift, a unique food item or, something for my home. Ion my last visit I was there to get some Super Bowl snacks that weren't the typical things you'd normally get. The chocolate selection is THE BEST and they have a lot of novelty snacks as well (Hello Kitty etc) In the past I've purchased coffee cups for gifts (so cute) and dresser knobs to freshen up and old thrift store find. If you've never been, make sure too give yourself a little extra time to look around (4 stars instead of 5 because some of the chocolates are way overpriced)

World Market is one of those specialty grocery/retail stores located in The Avenue Viera that has a unique hook to bring in customers. The hook: it sells food and wares from around the world thus why it is called World Market. I will be honest and say that I like this place but more so for perusing than purchasing. As mentioned earlier, it is located in the Avenue Viera as one of the stores as part of the building which also has Michael's. I can't really describe its exact location since the place is uniquely designed, but it is easy to find enough. Upon entering, the place looks like a sectioned indoor flea market with a bit more style. There is a section for furniture, a section for tapestries, a section for food, and so on. I personally love the grocery section that sells all kinds of food from around the world. I think they like pushing their wide range of alcohol as they have pick-and-choose specials for unique beer and wine brands. The only issue many might find with World Market is the price. Think about it. This is a specialty store selling goods mostly imported from other countries that are not commonly sold in regular groceries and retail stores. Ergo, the price tends to be higher. As a result, purchasing anything at World Market is either a novelty for patrons or they have some money to burn. Finally for those who live in southern Melbourne and Palm Bay, a lot of their products can be found in ethnic food stores at a cheaper price since said stores buy in bulk and constantly sell them. Lucky Market on New Haven also provides the same alcohol specials with a decent selection too just in case you are an alcohol connoisseur who lives in said areas and only goes to World Market for the alcohol specials. See, I saved you a trip. :D

I've always enjoyed shopping at World Market and was a fan favorite before the Pembroke Pines location in Southwest Broward closed about four years ago. Driving home through the Melbourne area, I was familiar with this particular location but it was always closed when I was "passing through." On Monday, June 8th, I visited around 4:45 p.m. and had an extensive conversation with Chris about some of the furniture pieces offered. Chris was very knowledgeable on the subject and even pointed me in the right direction when I requested a restroom. Speaking of restrooms - the men's room was very clean and did not smell offensive. I spent $78.92 on a bunch of foreign candy items that I could have done without. With that said, some of these items were the "old fashioned" candy items I was used to as a kid. By the time I am writing this review, I've eaten everything, including the Cinnamon toothpicks. Clean location and friendly staff. Centrally located just north of Melbourne in the The Avenue at Viera, an open-air, pedestrian friendly shopping destination featuring premier national retailers, select local merchants and specialty restaurants. I will be sure to visit again. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida

Love this store and at this time I am happy and sad that I don't have one near me. What I love are how there is so much home stuff, gift ideas, food, & alcohol from all different countries. What they have seems so artistic and different that you just couldn't find anywhere. I enjoy walking through all the aisles, checking out the labels and seeing what country it is from. One may not think that shopping is not a learning experience, but here it surely is. Please world market, come closer to my home. I would be overjoyed if you were closer.

I love this store/furniture/grocery place. It has so many things you can't find elsewhere in generic stores. A lot of the stuff in the store is imported so you'll see stuff you haven't seen before. It has a great selection of wine and an awesome selection of food items. We actually just recently bought furniture from this store because the hubs and I think it's well made and with the 25% off coupon you just couldn't beat it. Love this place and I will always shop here.

    Cockroaches in the store :/

I like the store itself but the management here leaves a bit to be desired. The store manager especially makes me feel uncomfortable. Train your store manager to be welcoming and polite so I can come back for all of my bourgeois-decadent yet affordable alcohol needs

Home Goods is a store that has decently priced merchandise and they provide a good service to the Space Coast of Florida. One thing important worth mentioning is that the isles are very narrow in Home Goods. This severely hurts the customer experience because customers are not given adequate time to look for and to examine merchandise for purchasing. Other customers are stuck waiting for customers to move, to allow them to walk down the isles, to allow them to find an item for themselves to purchase, and it limits their ability to walk around the store all together. This means that, because this store so packed with merchandise, it actually hinders the customers ability to make purchases. So what might seem like a good idea, packing the stores with more merchandise by narrowing the isles, what was likely meant to increase sales in the store, actually does the opposite, it's decreasing sales. I also don't believe that the narrow isles are disability friendly nor are they friendly for plus size customers. Once inside Home Goods, I found that they had a great selection of gardening supplies, pets supplies, and outdoor furniture. They also sell bedding, beautiful decorative items for the home, indoor furniture, and they have a selection of decorative seasonal items (such as Easter decorations).

While there were a lot of holiday decorations stocked, the narrowness of the aisles made the shopping experience less than pleasant. 2 carts could NOT pass by each other on any aisle. The shelves were overly stocked, so trying to pass by, your cart would get caught up on the things on the shelves. I heard 3 different incidents of things breaking while in the store. It is very easy to do that here. I did like that big selection of dog clothes that you don't normally see at other Homegoods locations. I purchased a Christmas sweater for my pup. Also, I liked the selection of gift baskets that were out. I purchased one that would be good to give for Christmas but to celebrate New Years.

UPDATE: I just heard from the store manager, the REAL MANAGER, not Pamela!! He's beside himself…read morewith embarrassment over how my friend and I were treated last night! His name is Scott. Scott took the time to call us both to talk to us about how terrible he feels about how Pamela behaved. He said he's going to take care of this situation to the best of his ability. He said he was able to get the store video and was very shocked at what he saw. He then asked his other manager to view the video to see if what he saw seemed correct. She agreed. He also contacted the cashier who was there and asked her how things went last night. He didn't lead on about the situation because he wanted to see if she would say anything and yes she did. She confirmed what he saw and he said he's totally embarrassed by what Pamela did. I just want to personally thank him for trying to make things right. He's a very kind man and he made it obvious he's very experienced at his job. I told him how much I enjoyed shopping there and how I was thrilled with the products and prices and how disappointed I was to have to leave my cart like that. Over 3 dollars!!! But it was the principle of the matter. He totally understood. The chances of my friend and I going back to Ollie's is very good but I told Scott, I'd call first to make sure he would be there and that Pamela would be off that day. In my opinion what she did to ruin everything for us, I think she should go and find a job that makes her happy. She was obviously miserable there and even said such as she said she wished she could leave. Be my guest Pamela. Don't try to ruin good people's lives like you wanted. To actually call the cops to have us trespassed? Shameful. Well I hope things change and I hope one day to be back at Ollie's again some day. I really loved shopping there today! The prices were amazingly good! The selection of products, fantastic! I spent over an hour in the store loading up my cart with my friend who is a senior citizen. She put a large box of coffee pods in her cart because there was a large sign with a price of 16.99. We were checking out and the cashier rang up 19.99. I advocated for my friend stating there is a sign up saying 16.99. A very stressed and angry looking employee came over and said there's no sale on the coffee. I explained there's a sign saying 16.99. She left and came back with the 16.99 sign. She said the sale expired 3 days ago. So I asked why the sign would still be displayed if it expired. She said it was her fault for leaving the sign up. I said don't you think you should honor the sign since she forgot to take it down. That's when she got very nasty and asked us to leave the store. With that I decided I'm leaving my cart. I said here I've got a cart full of stuff probably 200.00 worth, plus I had a 10.00 off coupon if I opened a credit card which I was going to do. I said for 3.00 you are losing a great deal of money. Really? I asked for the manager. She nastily said in a loud tone, "I'm the manager!" "Pamela". She pulled out the name tag on her shirt for emphasis. Next thing we knew she's talking loudly on the phone saying "there's ladies in the store causing problems and being obnoxious and need to be trespassed!" I was shocked. I told her not to worry because I would never return to this store again. Wow! I can not believe such a fun trip turned out to be a nightmare thanks to this manager. I tried contacting customer service at corporate but there's no telephone number. You have to email them after putting in all your personal information. Ridiculous. I'm guessing that's why she's such a nasty person. She gets away with it. But the sad thing is, how many people has she ripped off with that deceitful sign up for 3 days after expiration and how many other signs for sales is she not honoring. What a criminal thing to do. Yet she gets away with it because she's the only manager and there's no corporate telephone number. What a sad shame. I'd 100% go back to Ollies if this manager retired. I think she's a thief and a nasty one at that.
