They are experts at maintaining that perfect balance between being kind but firm, they are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and patient. I also want to give a special shout-out to Mrs. Kim. Mrs. Kim is the backbone of this dojang, providing amazing support and direction to both the students and the parents (who, like me, might not always know what to do). While Taekwondo is a martial art, this dojang offers so much more than just physical fitness. Students will learn discipline, mental toughness, confidence, focus, and the ability to regulate their emotions. They will learn how to give and receive respect and develop leadership skills by helping to guide lower-ranking belts. The instructors also not only care about how well a student is doing inside the dojang but also about their well-being outside of it. They check in on student's progress in school, social interactions, how well a student might be at home with eating right and keeping clean. They are truly invested and care about the growth of each student. Bealeton is incredibly fortunate to have this dojang here. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive, well-rounded martial arts community.

They were very friendly and addressed everything that was to be expected. They had a packet ready for my review just in case I forgotten everything they covered. I was very pleased with all the information that was given and was left with a great impression that this would a wonderful location. The instructors are very fair, they do not test your child if you're child is not ready. I love the fact that they do that because tae kwon do is about discipline and earning belts and stripes. They should never be given. Parents need to learn responsibility and understand and educate their children on good behavior. This place take grades, attitude, home responsibilities into count. They know who has been practicing and who is lacking in areas. They determine rewards based on graded forms turned in by parents. I really enjoy this place and I recommend this place to anyone.

He absolutely loves it there, so much so that when we moved to Annandale for a few years my son begged us to keep him enrolled in the lessons and as a member of Master Dennis' elite sparring team. We ended up moving back and have him back in the before and after-school but he never stopped attending lessons and training. Is every day perfect? No. Are there unhappy moments? Yes! I think this is true with any program. There are going to be good and bad moments. If you ever have a problem Master Dennis is there to listen and help solve any issues. What is different about USTigers is the family feel to the place. The Kim family's children are there every day and participate with the other children in all of the same activities. The Kim family provides an excellent program at an affordable price with no contract required. We tried another martial arts place prior to sending our son to USTigers and they wanted a monthly lesson fee in addition to the before and after care price and required a contract be signed. We just didn't feel it at that place and after the trial period ended went to USTigers on the recommendation of a friend. My son has increased confidence, respect, and strength as a result of the time at USTigers. He enjoys all the extra fun activities they have such as the Halloween party and Holiday Party. WE wouldn't take him anywhere else.
