My husband and I have been shopping at World of Decor for about 15 years. Over this time, we have purchased multiple pieces of furniture from WOD including 4 dining room chairs, chippendale and rococo styled bookshelves, vanity with mirror, a sitting chair, 4 end tables and a corner cabinet. None of these items were purchased through the store auctions and were able to be taken home same day (we had rental trucks). The pieces we have purchased are classic in style, (rococo/chippendale) made from quality, solid, mahogany wood and with ornate carvings and design. We were looking for a stool to go with the vanity and we lucked out and found one today. The price on the chair MSRP was listed at $1,099. The owner of the store offered it to us for just over $400 including tax. We happily took the offer, as we were hard pressed to find anything that seemed to match the current aesthetic without breaking the bank. This warehouse type facility has a borage of items and hosts virtual auctions every weekend. You can find king Louis style bedroom, living room, and dining room furniture, chandeliers, bathroom vanities, large area rugs, decorative statues, holiday decor, outdoor gazebos, and more. They are always updating their inventory which is shipped in from around the world. If you're looking for stately (and sometimes over the top gaudy style), bespoke and over sized furniture, World of Decor should definitely be on your list of places to check out. read more

Their products are overpriced and extremely cheaply made. They make them look good at first glance but they fall apart because they are made of extremely cheap materials. This place has things you absolutely do not find in any other store. Huge statues and ornate furniture. Elvis and Liberace would have shopped here. They do not run it like a regular absolute auction. You choose what items you are interested in from there giant warehouse and they will have them taken to the auctioneer. They DO have starting bids so you are not going to be buying the couch for $10.00. The starting bid is usually about 10% of their "manufactures list price". Certainly they are not giving anything away but if you are looking for something unusual at a decent price then you should definitely check this place out. They offer snacks and food so sometimes it's fun to go watch. Be sure to get a bidder number because I assume if you are on your toes you might get a good deal. read more

I love that a lot of their furniture pieces are not available to regular furniture stores. Who doesn't love getting high end furniture at a reasonable price...This is maybe my fourth time attending. DO. NOT. BUY. FROM ANY WORLD DECOR COMPANY. I went to the store in Brandon FL and paid $600 for a beautiful painting (supposedly it was 80% off) and it NEVER SHOWED UP. I called customer service, the location in Orlando, the location in Brandon and no one knows what happened to my painting. They kept delaying the delivery date...it's been over a month. To top EVERYTHING off I now see the painting I bought with the two horse figures going for $300!!! WTF. Horrible customer service! Furniture is nice, but don't count on it being delivered when they tell you. We ordered our furniture in October. At that time, we were told it would take 8-12 weeks. When that deadline wasn't met as to six dining room table chairs and two bar stools, we were told that these items would not arrive until early February. Today we were told -- after not hearing from them, not having our call from yesterday returned, and calling them again today -- that the remaining furniture was not even going to be shipped to them from the supplier until the end of March!! Moreover, one bar stool that was delivered was dirty and pretty clearly just a floor sample, and the delivery people shoved a carton with staples across our wood floor and banged it into the wall after being asked not to. They also did not pick up all their trash and left styrofoam we are still picking up. In short, avoid, particularly if you are not in Florida all year around and cannot afford to wait 6 months or more for furniture that was promised to you in 8-12 weeks. And if you do use them, don't expect return calls -- you will have to chase them down almost every time you want to speak to them. read more

LOVE World of Decor. My WHOLE House is full of their very unique items, anything from wood, to marble, metal sculptures, some furniture, but mostly decor items. The auction staff is fun to watch, as they quickly move large items in and out of the audiences view, guaranteeing a smooth auction process. They also have snacks, water, beer and wine available to make your day more fun, and a tremendous art, paintings and rug collection. FRAUD! Do not order products on line from World of Decor. Why? I placed an order 2 weeks ago for an in stock item. Their website says "FREE SHIPPING." I received a receipt of payment and of course the receipt also shows no charge for shipping. It's been TWO weeks and the item still has NOT shipped. I received ZERO notifications about shipment from them. Nothing. When I checked my order on line at their website, it states, "Awaiting Shipment." My emails that I sent to them to check on my went ignored. I called and did get someone who told me that FEDEX had changed how they charge for shipping larger items. (And that's my problem?) So, as I sit here this evening, this store has my money and my item isn't shipped and I don't know when or if it will be. Do I want the item? Yes. Do I trust these people? No. Not when they made no effort to advise me of their shipping issues, or better, ship the item AS PROMISED! I don't know how a business can advertise "Free Shipping," and then not ship the item.
