From the initial pressure by the owner saying they'd add special add ons for free if I bought during Stampede (you can't buy the tub without the add-ons!) to the breakdown of the plastic in the jets (They blame even ONE time a chemical might of been imbalanced) in just over 2 years to the FIRST pump replacement repair person indicating I overpaid by $3500 to SECOND service indicating that only my pump was leaking and everything else good to the state it's in today that the logic board and header also need to be replaced as it's not calling for heat...and they only send a bill and not even options to fix it. Don't buy a tub from them, and from their mouth is that all tubs won't last. $8,000 for less than 3 years of normal service. There's something sleazy about the hot tub industry as you can buy a $40 toaster and you get a manual in 3 different languages. I had to ask for one and they sent me a PDF to a tub that was called something else. Summary: High pressure lie tactics for you to buy, Overpriced, not prioritizing service in freezing weather (can't keep service techs??) and the knowledge from them that hot tubs are all the same and are built not to last, I'd suggest staying away from World of Spas and maybe not buying a hot tub at all. Warning, not a happy customer here. It has been 1 year since I put my warranty claim in for this hot tub with the frame bending in the one corner with all the outer panels bent also. World of Spas $13,000 Glacier 7DL hot tub. One year still no one has even come out to look at it. I didn't even get any paperwork from World of Spas that says warranty on it. I'm demanding a new hot tub or my money back. It has been a terrible experience and I would not recommend this company. read more

We bought a Club Series Dynasty Spa from World of Spas Calgary about 3 months ago, and we have been using it daily since and love it. We picked a model without loungers as we aren't really big enough to sink into one, but the sitting model works great for us. Our spa has 3 pumps, bluetooth stereo and an ozone replacement filter. The tricky part was getting the hang of how to balance water chem, but the staff at the store were great and extremely knowledgeable and helped us get it right without wasting a bunch of time and water. Any questions I have and they help me out with a quick call or visit to the store. Definitely recommend WOS Calgary read more

I bought a dynasty spa from World of Spas 5 years ago. It was no less expensive than spas through other dealers. The quality of the spa is less than expected. The airflow and diverter knobs were beginning to fail within a year. Before the spa was 4 years old (December 2016), it quit in the middle of a cold winter and the pipes froze. I logged a service call and was told that the spa pack needed to be replaced. I had to pay half the price of the $1000 part plus all labour for everything. The repair guy did not show up as scheduled and called 2 weeks later to set up another call that he again did not show up for. When he finally did show up and get the spa "fixed" at my cost of $2000 it quit within 2 weeks again and froze (end of January 2017). Waited until spring (May 2017) to have it fixed again to avoid anymore freezing issues and dealt with all the "no shows" from the repair guy for weeks on end. When he did show up he replaced only the broken pipes and did not investigate the cause. In September 2017 the hot tub started overheating and tripping the GFI once again. Had numerous error codes one of which was HR meaning the spa pack needed to be replaced once again. Calls to the repair guy were unanswered over and over. Another call to World of Spas had me on the hook for half the price of another spa pack (which was supposed to be under a one year full warranty) plus all the labour once again (assuming the repair guy calls or shows up). This is not my first spa but it is the first spa I have ever owned that cannot be expected to run. World of Spas insists that I should have a space heater under the skirt of the hot tub because I am the only one responsible for it freezing up. Keeping a space heater under the skirt of the hot tub all winter sounds completely ridiculous to me and I have never been told from any other spa company that I need to do that. I would suggest that Dynasty Spas and World of Spas also do not think that their spas are reliable enough. If you are in the market for a spa, do not consider a Dynasty Spas or World of Spas in Calgary unless you want to spend thousands of dollars per year to constantly replace the spa pack. The service and support are the worst I have ever experienced and the spa is not at all worth the price! read more

No help from service, tech wont even talk to me i call service line in red deer and back and forth with reception. Crazy. Useless so far. Wish i had never bought here. read more

The worst experience ever. Bought BRAND NEW hot tub for $6500.00 for my Calgary home. Delivery guy dropped it off and ran. We filled it plugged in no go. Talked to sales. They said we had to pay $150.00 to get a service company to come out. Service company came-fuse blown on brand new tub. World of Spas said - "Oh- we don't cover fuses." IT IS BRAND NEW. Many other frustrating issues in dealing with them over a 12 hour period. Like them insisting on sending a picture of front and back of my credit card because that is their "Policy." We bought our hot tub from them a few years ago when we moved here to Calgary and they have never let us down. New or used anything can have its complications which without hesitation works of spas made sure everything was as pain free as possible and got ya back up and running full steam haha! They also have a large selection of all sorts of things from basic spa chemical to Bluetooth devices to even toys for the kids and well the young at heart at a great price. I highly recommend this business and on top of it you don't have to worry if you know what you need just mumble out what you feel and they will take the reigns and when I am at the point I think I need to get an upgrade I won't bother looking for another place. It is a done deal! Thank you to everyone that works there so many can't remember half but I do know that not one of them ever made me feel not welcome or if I was coming there to spend thousands like the first time or just picking up a new jet same service! Everything is beautiful until you need to use their warranty, I have been calling them for the last 5 months about my water level going down very quick and I just received some excuses," This is normal", "The water is evaporating, evaporating is normal", "close that valve and should be ok now", guess what the hot tube is leaking... and a lot. Finally, they decided to send someone to check, guess what surprise number 1, on that warranty you need to pay the Trip cost... yes, you need to pay for requesting their warranty. Surprise number 2 the technician arrived and in 2 minutes he checked that my hot tube is leaking, and he will contact me with a plan in how to fix it. 2 days later I receive an email from the Office asking me to pay a $100 invoice with an excuse that the technician was not able to access the leak... small detail, I have a removeable deck, but instead of asking me to remove it so they could have access to one of the sides no... they said I will contact you later... this shows me how interested they were to resolve my problem and honor their warranty. I am very disappointed and will never buy anything from them anymore. read more

We purchased at the home show and they were eager to sell the product but limited after market support and no instruction on use with delivery. For an expensive toy I expected some post sales support such as initial help on setup, display instructions and chemical application. Product had initial problems with jets and display interface. Once service did come he was knowledgeable and very helpful. I would suggest a little more upfront work and customer hand holding. read more

We bought our hot tub thru the home show with a promo special.. we were told it would be delivered in 6 - 8 weeks.. it was.. we are very happy with the hot tub.. the guys that delivered it were very pleasant. The wrong chemicals were brought but a simple phone call to the store rectified that the same day. The promo part is a different story.. 16 weeks later we are still waiting,... the delivery date keeps getting pushed further and further away. they are trying to fix that but we will see.. read more

I accidentally bought a spa here over a year ago and haven't/refused to step foot in the store since. I won't mention my salesman's name but this guy makes used car salesmen look like saints. He gave me some BS line about how a special deal fell through and if I bought that day he would throw in a $9000 massage chair that was supposed to go along with the "failed" deal. I was dumb enough to fall for it. I left a deposit as the store closed. I went home and realized that it was a scam. EVERY TUB at any time of the year either comes with a chair, scooter, or trip to Vegas. I was literally there the next morning as the doors opened to get my deposit back. He told my to pound sand, a deals a deal then proceeded to ignore me. So I decided to give it a shot rather than loose my deposit. Well one year later and every time I look at this tub my skin crawls. The craftsmanship is shady, the jets always pop out, the cover doesn't seal around the odd shaped speaker area so it's always dirty, and speakers rusty. I had an electrical issue this winter and Called in. They said I had to call head office. They returned my call 4 days later. I fixed it myself on my own dollar rather than let it freeze. So I can attest warranty sucks. ALSO when they tell you about the great warranty, they don't mention it's Pro Rated! So it's misleading. They claim a "forever floor" like the competition but it's a piece of plastic stapled to the wood frame. Truly the scum of the spa world. Don't be fooled by the "Sales" it's like the Brick, there's ALWAYS a sale. They leave all the radio station banners up year around. I could go on forever. PLEASE AVOID. read more

They have a great selection, and prices are really great. We bought a used (like new) hot tub and the salesman appeared very knowledgeable and promised to have the filters changed and to have it cleaned. Well that Did Not Happen, we received our hot tub expecting it to be clean, and bought all the chemicals for it and within 4 days the water was cloudy and stinky with a yellow sludge sticking to the sides. We discovered it was not cleaned as promised, so that created a lot of work and expense. We have since gone to another spa retailer for supplies and they are much more professional. So whatever you do never buy a used spa from these people read more

Run!! This place will promise you the moon and the stars and will take your deposit, verbally promise they will give it back no questions asked within 48 hours. When you attempt to retrieve your deposit the SAME day, they refuse and tell you it's non-refundable. This company also has a legal judgement against them for misleading information. This is not the first time they've tried to pull the wool over their customers eyes! There's false advertising all over the place. My advice is to stay far, far away!!! RUN!!!!! read more
