I love Bass Pro Shop and always like to visit one when I travel…read more All Bass Pro Shops are dog friendly but what surprised me about this particular location was that I saw a little pet waste station that provided plastic bags, disposable gloves. paper towels and disinfectant wipes towards the back of the store. That is a very thoughtful little station and greatly appreciated that for pets that have accidents. But the only thing that would be missing is a trash can nearby. Anyways, I thought this Bass Pro Shop location seemed a little smaller than some of the other locations that I have visited on my travels. But they still have the core items that you would want to purchase at this store that you can find at the other locations. Employees were friendly and the ladies restroom was clean upon my visit. Had a positive shopping experience and would come back if I lived here.

I went to look for an employee and then saw a young man that I saw when I first walked back there. When I came in he was just standing there on his phone when I walked around and found him the second time to my surprise no change. Just standing in the back of the store up playing on his cell phone. I decided it wouldn't be worth telling him anything. I finally found an adult over in the gun section but he was busy. I think I've decided that it's not worth my time and effort to return to the store!

I kept getting hung up on. Rather than they actually pick it up, & say, "Academy Sports, how can I help?" I have only tried to call because the internet you have is full of lies. There's absolutely zero boxes of .40S&W ammo on your shelves at all. I looked myself yesterday. Only reason, I was trying to call either store. Is to see if either, actually have a single box or two in stock & on the shelves. In JHP, so I can actually purchase it. However, because I was lied to. Then hung up in so many times. I took it back Sunday, 5/4/2025 to exchange it for a mug with all of its parts. The cashier could not do a straight out exchange for the exact same item. He insisted on charging me full price and did not give me my Veterans' discount. He said discount was only on the first mug which had missing pieces. I politely gave him several opportunities to make it right. He did not even have the critical thinking skills necessary to ask for a supervisor. He clipped me for $1.63. Just enough to make me shop elsewhere in the future.
