I love Bass Pro Shop and always like to visit one when I travel. All Bass Pro Shops are dog friendly but what surprised me about this particular location was that I saw a little pet waste station that provided plastic bags, disposable gloves. paper towels and disinfectant wipes towards the back of the store. That is a very thoughtful little station and greatly appreciated that for pets that have accidents. But the only thing that would be missing is a trash can nearby. Anyways, I thought this Bass Pro Shop location seemed a little smaller than some of the other locations that I have visited on my travels. But they still have the core items that you would want to purchase at this store that you can find at the other locations. Employees were friendly and the ladies restroom was clean upon my visit. Had a positive shopping experience and would come back if I lived here. read more

Here is my bitch about bass pro. I was dealing with the little rock store but it may be for all. I wanted a small easily concealed by sticking in a pocket handgun. As a last ditch self defense weapon. I researched and found they had just what I wanted. Knowing I was going by there September the eleventh I ordered on the first through customer service August 30 along with a box of shells for the pistol as well as two boxes of 30.06 shells. Was happy with the purchase but this Saturday I went to the bank and put in a check to cover acouple of bills. Only to discover there wasn't enough after deposit to pay both bills. Didn't tally up so I asked for a readout of my last transactions. I discovered everything I ordered was charged to my debit card twice. Calling customer service again I was able to find out that supposedly even after paying the evening I called that the policy of bass pro was to charge my card only when everything was in store. But my bank reflected the fact that they took the money. But also showing I was charged twice for the amount. The explanation was that Visa holds on to the total amount so they can be assured that bass pro could be paid and also bass pro holds the same amount. After talking with everyone at bass pro and my bank I hear that the second $371 and chage would go back into the account after the store had everything in store. But being as it was the Labor Day weekend it was now the 5th. Emails tell me that everything arrived at the store today. But bass pro tells me it could be four or five days till Visa puts the hold off my money. So for possibly ten days or more my bank statement shows me being $371.49 less than it should. Today I put more money in to cover enough to pay the unexpected plumbing bill and paid it. With any other purchase any other store would have taken my card payment right then and there and I would have had access to the 371.49 for the last week. They tell me this is what they always do at bass pro. They should change this so money won't be taken out of my power to use. I'm like a lot of people who sometimes have a narrow margin to work with. Their policy needs work. Do what everyone else does and take the amount paid and not withhold twice the amount. It's been a pain in the assistant for me. read more

Life size wild hogs roam above the entrance setting a Razorback mood for the Little Rock location. The sales staff was very helpful and fitting rooms a good comfortable size. We enjoyed our shopping experience until it came to checking out, which was very slow. This was a December Tuesday morning trip so we weren't expecting a big crowd. We were wrong. Be prepared for a slow checkout unless they get smart and open the other 6 stations that were closed today. read more

Went to Bass Pro today to buy a thermal scope after waiting an hour for assistance at the Sporting Goods counter I got to pick out the scope I wanted and went up front to pay for it. The price on the scope was not the correct price, so they told me I was welcome to pay more if I wanted it. Long story short after talking to the manager he told me that this was his store, he makes the prices, he can do what he wants. I ended up driving four hours round trip for nothing. read more

Let me get the bad stuff out of the way first. I absolutely hate going in here and having to deal with the timeshare folks who go out of their way to hawk their garbage product. I'm not sure what kind of deal Bass Pro has going with the timeshare folks (Bluegreen, I believe), but I wish they'd end it. I to to Bass Pro to shop for guns and such and have little patience with a pitch for a blasted timeshare. So, the fact timeshare folks are accosting shoppers costs Bass Pro a star. Having said that, this is truly a great store for outdoorsy-type stuff. They've got a huge selection of guns and plenty of ammo. Want black powder balls and supplies? No problem. Need some #5 12 gauge shells for turkey season? They've got those, too. You'll also find all manner of camping equipment, more bows and arrows than you could possibly need and even some great knives, grills, smokers, turkey fryers and etc., etc. etc. Fishing gear? Plenty. Boots? Yep. Bottom line here is that you'll find all kinds of outdoor supplies here. Keep in mind I'm not talking about sporting goods. I'm talking about equipment for fishing, hunting, camping, boating and four-wheeling (yes, you can buy a boat or a side-by-side here) activities. If I have one complaint is that the gun prices tend to be a bit high. While Bass Pro has some ridiculously good sales on firearms from time to time, the regular prices are more than a bit on the high side. So, shop around. read more

I visited this store on Monday, Jan 28, 2020. Again, I found the item I was interested in Sold Out. There was one person behind the gun counter and one person working the hunting floor. He offered nothing more than we are sold out. In the last few years, I have noticed these stores keeping low inventory of sales and regular items. Even during the Spring Fishing Classic, If you don't go early, you'll find sale items sold out. read more

I ordered the three piece ugly stick filet knife set that was on clearance. I chose the in store pickup on Wednesday November 10th. They notified me it was ready to be picked up Thursday morning the 11th right after they opened. I drove down and went in and had to get in the line marked returns and exchanges. There were 5 people in front of me. I looked at my watch and took between 30-35 minutes to get to the counter. Once we were there they couldn't find the order. I asked could I just go get the set and be done. They said they couldn't do that. I asked to talk to a manager. They said one was on the way. Ten minutes later they supposedly found it and "were in their way up with it". At that time the lady I asked to retrieve a manager and told me one was coming ten minutes prior came back to me and asked if I would tell her what I needed to relay to the manager. I said no just forget it. I got home and emailed the general manager and it's been almost a week and still have not heard from him either. Will never set foot back in here again. I'd rather drive to Missouri or pearl miss and deal with them. They care. This place is a joke. read more

If you're familiar with Bass Pro Shops then this one will feel like a well-worn shoe. There are fishing supplies, hunting supplies, camping supplies, pet supplies, clothing, and more. Do you remember why you stopped wearing those shoes? Because you found better ones. This store seemed small and not too well stocked. The fishing supplies were lacking. The hunting supplies seemed to be just shoved in a small section. The camping supplies looked like they were only included in the store because they had a contract that the store couldn't get out of. The pet supplies could have easily fit into one aisle of the average Wal-Mart. Come on, man! What about my hunting dog? Now let's talk about the clothing section. I'm not a mathematician so my numbers may be way off but I'm betting 75% of the store was dedicated to clothing. I'm not talking about outdoor clothing, I'm talking about t-shirts. The last Bass Pro Shop I was in was in Memphis and that store is HUGE! The guy I was with bought an entire shopping cart full of toys and clothes for his little grandson. I figured I would do the same for my grandson while I was here. I circled the store twice and finally had to ask someone where the clothing was for kids. There was a small section near the checkout lanes that had maybe 8 shirts for kids. The only thing I bought my grandson was a stuffed dog. I'll go back to this store if I'm in the neighborhood but I won't go out of my way to make a special trip. read more

The server was down, and I wanted a certain knife, it there weren't that specific kind in stock, so I got I got a 5% discount for a display knife that was in perfect condition. We stop here every year on our annual Dallas mission trip, and I have not only refreshed with the fantastic environment but also the great cinnamon pecans, we get the chance to stretch our legs, and supply ourselves with everything we may have forgot for the trip. The stuff there's also lasts!!!!! A year ago I bought a sheriff badge with my l name on it, and it is still going strong to this day, I would highly recommend this shop as not only a place for food or supplies but for a great place to rest and relax. read more

My husband and I went to Bass Pro shops yesterday to pick up one item. We saw several staff members with their masks under their nose and at least 3 staff members not wearing their mask pulled up over their face at all. I also saw two customers not wearing a mask. We will not be back until the store takes Covid precautions seriously. read more

I made several calls to the store to see if they had the Pelican 10E Bass Raider in stock. I kept getting transferred to different departments only to get a line that disconnected the call. Fishing dept said I needed to talk to camping dept. Camping dept said I needed to talk to fishing dept. call dropped each time I was transferred. Finally service dept lady said it was not in stock so I asked about ordering one. She transferred me to... yep, fishing dept who transferred me to camping and my call was disconnected. I wonder if the government has taken over this store! read more

Went in to buy a pistol. Salesman 1 was busy with another customer. I stood at the counter patiently waiting. There was Salesman 2 at the far end of the counter. He wasn't waiting on anyone. He did see me standing there. Then I noticed the "take a number" device. I took a number. I was next. Another customer came up to Salesman 2. He began waiting on that customer. I finally asked Salesman 1 if I could get help. He said he had to accompany customer to front. Finally Salesman 2 came over to me and asked if I need help. I indicated I wanted to look at/compare 3 different 9mm pistols. He said, " I'm waiting on another customer, he's BUYING a pistol." With that, he walked away. Shortly, Salesman 1 returned, but to the other end of the counter and began assisting Salesman 2. I'm standing at the counter, totally ignored and never approached again. I had wasted 25 minutes at this point. I walked to the end of the counter and laid down the number and left the store. I guess I was profiled as not a credible buyer. I'm age 65+, female.
