I recently purchased an EV (Tesla) and knew that I could not rely solely on supercharging stations. While Tesla has a great network, I was forced to charge at very inconvenient hours to ensure I was paying somewhere close to residential kWh rates. Quickly came to the conclusion that I'd need a reliable setup to charge at home and I created a Yelp project to get some bids. Worley Wiring Electrical was the first to reach out and was very informative and supportive in answering questions without being pushy during our exchanges. We discussed PSE rebates (yes they are an approved PSE contractor!) and they were able to get me on the schedule right away. Kevin Worley was very kind and respectful onsite, and delivered very quality work from start to finish including a great attention to detail when cleaning up. He was happy to answer my questions and even made time to discuss some other future electrical work I am considering. He installed a 50a circuit with an EV 14-50 NEMA outlet in addition to setting up and mounting my level 2 charger for a very tidy and convenient setup exactly where I wanted it. I am very impressed with the conduit work and overall fit/finish of the install. I cannot recommend them highly enough. After returning home from a couple days away, we returned home to 3 of our rooms lights going out in the back half of our house on Christmas Eve. This was worrisome especially having a baby and one of the rooms of course was the kitchen. After frantically sending out multiple requests for anyone to come look at our house on Christmas Eve, Erin responded to my message and even called to check in. I explained to her everything that happened and she even went so far to double check with her husband Kevin, for a recommendation. They 1000% did not have to give us any recommendation, they could've just said "we're going to schedule your appt and see you then!" But that's not what they did. Kevin got on the phone, my husband explained what happened since he was present when it occurred, and Kevin recommended we call our power company to do a system check to ensure we were getting power to the house and that the meter wasn't bad. After doing his recommendation, TPU said everything was good and we still went ahead and had Kevin come out to the house to inspect everything. Within minutes my husband said, Kevin was able to figure out what was going on and gave us even more helpful recommendations to prevent this from happening or just to ensure this doesn't happen again. From the first time I met the owner Kevin for the estimate on a whole house rewire of old 1955-era wiring all the way through to the final punch list items, both he and his crew were awesome to work with. Their work was top notch and they took the time to do things right. They also worked with me on some custom requests to use my existing smart dimmers and switches, along with the inevitable "oh, right, can you do xyz since you're here?" for a very reasonable upcharge. They completed the work on time and budget, and payment was super easy as well with electronic billing and payment available. They also took the time to clean everything up as they went and at the completion of the work - the house was cleaner when they left then when they started, which is amazing for any major job like this! 100% would recommend. Had some faulty wiring in the garage, and some other safety repairs to make. We also wanted some unfinished lights connected and other minor misc work. Was apparent from the minute he came out that he was more attentive than the other two (bigger) companies who I had already had out for quotes. Kevin did a detailed inspection of all our electrical, not just the issues we had requested. Ended up going with Worley and am happy I did; quality of work is very high. Fixed everything on the quote and then he went around fixing other issues that he had noticed but hadn't even quoted! Kevin also added 2 outlets in the garage in spaces they were sorely needed but I hadn't even realized (eliminating my need to use a power strip in one area and an extension cord to power things on the other). Just to be clear, these weren't on the quote, I wasn't charged, he just saw some minor things that needed fixing and while he was out here for the big items he spent a little time cleaning everything else up. Seriously cannot recommend enough. You might get a (slightly) cheaper quote somewhere else but you absolutely will not get better service and quality and in the end that makes Worley the best value of any electrician I've hired. read more

Our experience with Worley Wiring was excellent start to finish. I asked for an estimate the day before Thanksgiving. Kevin showed up the day after Thanksgiving and provided a no-cost estimate for multiple tasks making helpful suggestions to improve outcomes. Kevin worked steadily despite my observing and asking questions along the way. He also showed and explained best practices for various electrical repairs. The job included installing two new bathroom exhaust fans, installing three new fixtures, rewiring a light switch and power outlet in the garage including two GFCI outlets where none existed previously. Kevin also installed arc fault breakers in the main panel. We were very pleased with the quality of the outcomes.
