My primary complaint is with the staff at the front desk…read more They were not welcoming, overall felt "cold," and I was the only person that they did not make aware of the new "assigned spots" process. This led to tensions in the class itself as I was the only one without an assigned spot and unintentionally took the spot of someone else. I notified them of this mistake and their response was lackluster. They did not offer any sort of apology for that miscommunication and even remained defensive in nature. The combination of the environment of this place with this experience made me feel unwelcome. The classes themselves were OK. I would not come here again and would not recommend it.

It's our 2nd year in Aspen around the same time- January, and we decided to sign up for their 10 pack which graciously allows you to share it with your crew. This worked so good for us since we are not here often, and never know who and how many will be up for a class. I attended 3 classes this week during my short trip and had 3 different instructors. We enjoyed them all. The space itself is very inviting, clean and accessible to any area you decided to stay in. We had super nice welcoming staff. The mat and towel was included. Glad we found our studio.

Great gym, but toxic and unprofessional management…read more I've enjoyed being a member at Jean Robert's, but I am appalled by the owner's wife's behavior tonight. A member slightly lowered the music volume in the back room (it was excessively loud), and the owner's wife immediately stormed out and began a loud, aggressive argument with him, yelling, "Do not touch that!" When he tried to explain that the volume was too high, she doubled down and screamed, "Then you can go someplace else!" I chimed in to agree with him, shocked at how she was speaking to him over such a trival matter, and she told me I could 'go someplace else too.' I am stunned that a business owner would treat paying customers with such blatant hostility and tell them to leave over a simple volume request. Unprofessional, unwelcoming, and completely unacceptable. Possibly I caught her on a bad night? Jean Robert is such a nice man, says hello to everyone and always has a smile.

3.5, I guess. I…read moreheard someone in here gasp at the size of the gym area. Clearly these people have not been in the the East Bank Club (or a mid-size Bally's). So, the club is fairly nice, and the massage area is all you'd expect (warm, quiet, well stocked), and the locker rooms are very passable. BUT, I expect more than just "good" from a place like this. If you're going to charge $140 for a 50 minute massage, bring the "great". Get me a steam shower or a cucumber in my water, something.
