WOW is awful!!!!! I have called for months due to not having my service half the time. Then they sent an employee out her to set up a new router. He didn't set it up correctly it says my internet is not secure I have called and texted him two times and asked him to come back. WOW is terrible. Their customer support is off shore and barely speak english. Cancelled the account in Nov 2024 and sent back equipment. Come Dec 2024 I get another bill for service in Dec. Calling support is like a crap shoot. They want a PIN that matches nothing I have ever setup, then last payment amount and date.. They make it so hard to do anything that even if I leave spectrum again I will NOT be going with WOW ever again. read more

Too bad you can't leave a review with zero stars. WOW (which used to be Nulink) has many issues. (From service, to available techs to fix the problem, and lack good customer service.) They've been good about discounting the monthly rate when you finally get a hold of someone to fix your problem. SPOTTY Internet and Wi-Fi services. Internet is always going down periodically throughout the day. So if you like me and have multiple cameras, TVs and iPads that use Internet, this service renders everything unusable! Good luck streaming a movie. Don't make the same mistake as me. I have been with them for a couple years, and it just seems to be getting worse and worse! WOW is awful! My internet stopped working when Nulink switched over. Since the switch, my household can no longer watch netflix or any streaming services and can't even surf the internet on my phone. I was also charged an excessive amount of money for this crappy service. I'm switching to ATT ! read more

If I could give it no stars I would. These jokers are pathetic. They installed me with the cable crossing the street, on the open ground. It's been cut by a mower once and you'd think they'd bury then. NOPE! Next it was decimated by cars driving over it. Did they bury it then? NOPE! Once again just driven into oblivion. Please do not ignore the vast majority of negative reviews that this incompetent company has. I foolishly ignored them trying to save a couple of bucks by switching internet providers. Do not believe what their sales reps say when they tell you they've changed and their customer service is a top priority. They have the worst customer service of any company I've ever seen. Their technician who did the installation was extremely unprofessional. He just walked into my house without knocking on my door and started to rearrange my furniture without permission. He then proceeded to accidentally cut my cable and had no idea how to fix it. I couldn't even believe how unprofessional he was. After several days of using the service, I had inconsistent connection and some drops in coverage. I ended up canceling the service after 5 days due to poor performance compared to my previous provider. Despite cancelling and speaking with 3 different representatives, WOW never cancelled their appointment to bury their cable line in my yard. Despite the fact that I was no longer a customer, they still sent someone out to destroy my yard with no consent or acknowledgement in advance. I've tried taking the matter up with multiple reps and they continue to lie to me and tell me that a supervisor will call me back just to get me off the phone. As you can imagine, I never received a call back. Even the sales rep who suckered me into trying them out wouldn't return my messages. This company will do anything to get you to sign up, then leave you out to dry. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Please don't ignore the countless others who hate this company to save you a few dollars. They are worthless! read more

I haven't even been a customer for a week. Let's just say I'm returning all equipment tomorrow Monday. They are horrible. I'd even consider satellite. For 1 they don't do installation. 2 they don't provide adequate technical support 3 the setup manual doesn't even reflect the equipment that they sit on your doorstep. TRASH TRASH TRASH. I have been repeatedly charged for services I am not receiving. After I have my bill resolved they assure me I will not be charged again for a home network modem and then a few months later they will charge me for it again. I have my own modem, I'm not using a modem from wow but they continue to charge me for it every few months. I guess they hope i won't notice. This company will rip you off if they think they can get away with it. I have never actually reviewed a company but I felt the need to put this here. Avoid WOW if you can. read more

We have had wow for quite a while and don't really have another option where we live. The service is terrible. Our internet works half the time at best. I call and they send out a tech and the tech says basically that it's as good as it's gonna get...that just where we live it's not going to work well....so, why offer the service? Well yesterday I wrote a negative review on this company (all very true at the time) & was pretty sure I was going to be switching to a different provider. However after expressing my side the Company contacted me (very quickly) & for the first time I felt heard & respected as a customer. I would also like to say that in order to make things right this company went above & beyond anything I EVER thought would happen & for that I say THANK YOU!!! Wow Cable is now a household name for this family & you have life long customers from this point on ( I mean unless u just get SUPER crazy with prices.....lol) There are still companies that put their customers first & for that we are thankful. read more

I went to the location in Lanett Al trying to get a Printed receipt to say My mom account has been closed and she has a zero balance they tell me and her they cant print receipt out Her account her money And you cant show where she paid its been 3 weeks still no receipt or response poor customer service read more

I have been a customer of WOW cable since 2011 and it is 2016. When I started with WOW cable they were called knology. I have cable service and internet service with them. 2 cable boxes one a dvr box. Apart from the frequent glitches with my dvr box I never had any other technical issues . My cable bill had risen to about $170 or a little more with not a very competitive channel selection. After years of this, I called to express my concern about over paying, I was told I was a long-term customer and they had a package which they would extend to me and nothing (which the only premium channel I had was HBO) would change. Not the case. HBO was cut , I called to complain and I was told it would be corrected. It wasn't. Thankfully GOT(game of thrones) was not back on yet as this was march. I had an issue with my dvr box and again raised the missing HBO issue was told it would be corrected. Again not fixed. Fortunately on sundays I was out of my apartment and or could catch up with GOT elsewhere. It is now July and I'm moving out and need to cancel my very shoddy cable service. I spoke with customer service to discuss the fact that I've been charged $19 a month since march and have not been able to watch HBO. The customer service person "couldn't" help me because on his end it shows I have HBO. I asked to speak to a manager who said he could give me a $5 credit because I called to complain in march. I've been a customer since 2011, also I've spoken to 3 individuals about the HBO issue. However I've been paying $19 a month for 4 months for nothing and I was told all I was gonna get is $5 back. It took all that was in me not to tell him to impale himself on the $5. I was warned about WOW cable and also experienced some aspects of their low budget service as a customer but this takes the cake. WOW cable ripped me off!! Don't use them for your cable service, they don't have a competitive selection and charge you out the wazoo for crap and in my case RIP YOU OFF! I wish there was a half star on YELP cause 1 full star is too generous read more
