You also have locally sourced produce that can be found on many asian cuisines. The store is family owned so you see everyone from time to time and they are very helpful trying to find whay you need. The food is so good, made fresh to order especially the papaya salad and laab where im trying to build spice tolerance. Its a mom and pop shop and clean and always upgrading to improve customer service. Its a staple im glad to have in my old neighborhood.

I only learned about it because a local cinnamon roll vendor sets up shop every Sunday at the farmers market,so what began as my search for an incredible cinnamon roll turned into me discovering the cutest little farmers market in Carmichael. This farmers market happens once a week on Sunday mornings from 9am-2pm. This market is located at Carmichael Park on Grant Avenue. Generally I'd say there are about 50 or so vendors each week at the market,though I have seen that number a little higher on random weekends. Free parking at this park is pretty plentiful as Carmichael Park has many parking spaces available. These vendors are pretty good-quite similar to the vendors that I've seen at the Midtown Farmers Market-fresh fruits and veggies,a few vendors making fresh foods,like the cinnamon rolls vendor that got me to this farmers market. They have a vendor who has massage chairs setup and offers massages to customers. Another vendor I love is an Asian Bakery,selling incredible milk bread and sells these great egg salad sandos on milk bread-solid stuff. The best vendor, though,as I mentioned earlier is the cinnamon roll vendor and it's fabulous.The lines for this vendor can be pretty long and they sell out every weekend-I fully recommend them. Staff is super friendly as they also assist with some job placement JAVA program in the next bay. They do accept cards and I was told the produce comes from locals farms. Parking can be a challenge as it used to be a Fire Station of old, which adds to the nice decor of a neighborhood corner store.

I was like, okay, fine -- whatever. Then she just threw the receipt on the counter instead of handing it to me. At that store, when you pay with a card, you're supposed to sign the second receipt. I knew that, but she didn't say a word or explain anything! And at the end, after I did everything myself, she looked at me with this annoyed face and said, "Go and take your oils." She didn't even move them to the other side of the counter like they're supposed to -- she just stood there, clearly irritated, and told me to take them myself. The receipt wrote "Tanya," but I'm not sure if that was her name. Either way, the service was awful.
