They didn't conduct any tests on him; instead, they merely administered pain medication, which seemed to worsen his condition. I advise anyone going to this hospital to bring someone along who can advocate for their care. I noticed that my dad was deteriorating instead of improving, and I felt the need to transfer him to a better facility. However, I was met with numerous excuses from the staff. While some nurses were helpful, many at North Shore seemed unsure of what they were doing. This hospital needs major changes--either to shut down temporarily and reopen with better staff or to find ways to improve immediately. There will continue to be negative reviews until the issues are addressed. It's essential to hire more competent nurses who are genuinely willing to help. After transferring my father to UM Hospital, he received immediate attention, including lab tests and a PET scan. That's how you can tell a hospital cares about getting you better. DO NOT GO TO NORTH SHORE!!!!!!

When the pct finally arrived I have now be waiting for her to return and clean me over 45 minutes. The call button does not work. The remote control doesn't either. I hear staff outside my room door 376b talk yet no one comes in to answer my call. This is truly unacceptable and demoraling. I just want to be changed and cleaned up. One of the drs on my case can in to update me and I asked him to let them know I need to be. cleaned up. He said he would. I started the process of getting the bed pan at 9;30 am and it is now 10:33am and I am still waiting. PCT comes in now saying she forgot. It happens. TRUlY UNACCEPTABLE . There needs to be follow through for the patient. I don't bother or ask for anything just a bed pan and this is what I had to experience. Hopefully someone will read this and address the issue so others won't have to go thro this.

Annabel is a very caring professional. She exudes happiness and helped to cheer me up which, I think, helped me to heal. Always helping me with my needs even in the middle of the night and with a smile on her face. I also had a wonderful experience with Thaura Abdalia for several months. Thaura, also very professional and helpful and she is a gentle soul. Always willing to do whatever I asked to be helpful to me. Easy to talk to and my little dog picked up her good vibes and like to hang out by her, she'd get excited to see her when she arrived. I only saw Elizabeth Cruz for three days but I liked her immediately. Also very professional, and couldn't do enough to make sure my every need was taken care of. I would recommend any of these ladies, they would not disappoint. Granniesnannies apparently hires only the best. And she was taking to the death hospital Jackson North in north Miami Beach. These places I wouldn't recommend them to any one. And I found out that many people die from septic shock at St. Catherine Rehab hospital per a lawyer and most of them are black.
