Super cute spot. I wanted something light and refreshing for breakfast after going to the gym. So decided to stop in to try an açaí bowl. On this occasion, I got the super fruit bowl, which was really good and lower in sugar than some of the other bowls. I also grabbed the original mini açaí bowl for my husband. In hindsight, we probably could've just shared the original size and cut that in half. Overall, it was really good. I probably would've preferred more fruit as it seemed like you got the same amount of fruit whether you got the mini bowl or the original so I would've liked to see more of a fruit layer to be incorporated in the bowl that I got however I'm sold and I'll be back to try more. read more

Wow! You are definitely wowed after ordering. I've never been to one of these places, but decided to try it on my way in for an appointment nearby. Highly recommend this place. I came on an overcast day, but can only imagine how refreshing this will be in the summer. They have a menu of different flavored lemonades, açaí bowls, toasts, flatbreads and Shaka salad bowls. This place is a must try! I ordered the original açaí as I've never had one, and it was delicious to say the least! I also ordered the mango pineapple lemonade and it was so good! Pulled up to grab donuts from Bosa and saw this spot & had to check it out for a healthier option! Love the bright open space and aloha vibes. Staff was super friendly & welcoming as well and made the order quickly. I ordered the chia tropical smoothie (easy on the ginger & tumeric since I need the health benefits but hate the taste). First time trying this place and I was delighted to see a good value for the price. For $13, you get a full size açaí bowl with lots of toppings and fresh fruit. I got the coffee açaí bowl which came with coconut shavings, banana, strawberries, coffee pudding, and honey. It was really good! I liked that the inside of the store was Hawaiian-themed. A perfect spot for refreshing açaí bowls. The fruit was fresh and tasty with just the right amount of honey. I wish the bowls were wider to accommodate for more granola. Wow, this place really has excellent lemonade, even if you ask them to simplify the ingredients. My daughter loved the watermelon lemonade, and I got the Acai bowl which was really fresh and lovely. It's so nice to have fresh smoothie bowls, and unique lemonades. The service is very friendly, and the interior is fun. They have these adorable lawn chairs on the outside of the shop, pillows and all. Good spot to sit and hangout for a minute while getting a really good-sized snack. I stopped in with my children after a long day just to grab a drink. After I ordered our drinks, I realized they were about to close. I sincerely appreciate the girl being willing to serve us still despite all of their ingredients being put away. The lemonade was a bit tart for my taste but it's probably because I didn't get any ice. I had a flight of 3 lemonades. I had watermelon basil, strawberry mint, and another I can't remember. 10/21/23 UPDATE: it's Halloween at Wow Wow! The last few times we popped in, their app was not working. I reached out to them and they quickly responded. Yesterday we were craving Wow Wow and discovered their app was fixed and working. Hip hip hooray!! It was the same two gals helping from all our previous visits, and they were just as friendly as before. I veered away from an acai bowl and tried a the almond / strawberry flatbread sandwich this time. It was all right, but my sweet tooth definitely prefers the bowls. But that won't prevent me from trying their quinoa bowl next visit. 9/30/23: We usually hit up Genuine Fresche in Tempe for our bowls, but they have gotten so wishy-washy with their bowls (sometimes they are crammed full, other times they are only half full) it's very disappointing. I don't care if Wow Wow is farther away, they are now officially our go-to place for bowls! Every lemonade drink we have had has been so flavorful and just the right amount of sweetness. Their bowls are well made and they definitely do not skimp on the ingredients. Next time we pop in, we are 100% going to try some of their toast items. The first time I tried this franchise was in Hawaii and always wondered why San Diego doesn't have one of these yet! And now getting it again for the second time in AZ, I am still confused why we don't have one. The store is always so bright and decorated with pictures, surfboards, and lemons. Came in just for the lemonades to go with my donuts for the morning and it was just as I expected! Blue Hawaiian: I'm not even going to deny it - I got this solely because of how cool it looks. Upon tasting it, I also felt the coconut was very mild, no taste of spirulina whatsoever, and so ultimately just lemonade in my opinion. Maybe there are some cool health benefits from the spirulina! They greeted us with big smiles and made us feel welcomed! I ordered the Superfruit Pitaya bowl which was Pitaya Mix, GF Granola, Strawberry, Pineapple, Blueberry, Coconut, and, Honey. I was torn between that or the Blue Hawaii, which was Almond Milk, Mango, Banana, Pineapple, Coconut Butter, Dates, Blue Spirulina in Mix. GF Granola, Pineapple, Blueberry, Strawberry, and Coconut. I'm going to order that my next visit! And my friend ordered the Coconut Peanut Butter, which was whole grain toast (I'm assuming), topped with Coconut Peanut Butter, Banana, Cacao Nibs, Coconut, and Honey. I always read a response with positive intent. However, I have a problem with the business owners passive aggressive response. In which, if you read other reviews that are less than 4 stars, she takes no ownership of the mess ups. It's an excuse followed by what the business has done to "correct" the issue. The business only "corrects" its mistakes at the request of the customers which is followed by an excuse. The girl who poured the lemonade CLEARLY saw there was a BUG in my drink. Or maybe she thought it was pineapple purée floating around the cup. Unbelievable. 1. I know the difference between a bug and a pineapple thorn/purée. The lemonade had a bug in it, point blank! 2. If it is known that fruit flies "love the lemonade stand" cap the spouts so they can't "hang out" in them. 3. I'm aware that kegerator's are sealed. The batch was contaminated because pineapple purée...(being facetious and eye roll) I mean fruit fries were flying around in the pour spout. In turn, contaminating the spout which pours into the customers cup. Smh. Being that the girl NEVER cleaned the spout that was housing the fruit flies that "love the lemonade stand", seems like contamination to me. Shrugs. But, she repoured it from the contaminated spout and I guess that's fine to do. Shrugs again. I am one who overly supports small businesses and help spread the word of small businesses, as a small business owner myself. However, taking ownership of mess ups is a must. I could've requested a refund, causing the store a loss in profits as grossed out as I was, but didn't. I just threw the bug poured lemonade away. I won't be back and hopefully as a business owner she grows and takes responsibility to better her shop. read more

Wow Wow in Phoenix Phoenix is a welcome welcome sight! This location is next to Bosa Donuts and seems a little smaller than the Scottsdale shop but has the same selection of food and drink. While browsing through the menu I spied the lemonade flight ($6) which was perfect for me since it would let me try 3 different varieties of their lemonade. I opted for the mango pineapple, blackberry lavender, and watermelon lemonade. It came on a board in cute little mason jars with their logo on it. Out of the three I enjoyed the watermelon the most, it had a nice balance of concentrated watermelon flavor with tart lemonade. The blackberry lavender was also tasty with the lovely floral note of lavender, as well as the tropical tangy notes of mango pineapple. Service was fast and friendly. Love me some Wow Wow Lemonade! Their açaí bowls are so yummy! I think I've tried most of them and my favorite one is the Cold Brew Crave (I know me and my coffee right? Hahaha). I always order a Chilli Lime Avocado Toast too, sometimes with an egg. I share that one most of the times but not my bowl! Lol Staff in this location are the best! So friendly and cool. Most weekends you can find me here, it's one of my go-to places for sure. They also have some pretty good lemonades (on tap) and other yummy bites. They recently added more flatbread options that I haven't tried yet but look good. I just think it's funny how I came to this location before visiting the one closer to me. We were excited to try out some lemonade and my friend wanted one of their mason jars so she got one, and I did too so that I'd be motivated to come back and save $.50 on my drink. The menu is impressive and expansive; so many drinks, bowls and toast options. I went with the strawberry mint lemonade and the chili lime avocado toast, and with the glass jar it was pretty pricey but worth saving some money on future visits. The staff was super accommodating and helpful with recommendations. I love that everything is locally sourced and they don't use syrups or unnatural ingredients. We wanted to sit outside and one of the managers wiped down the table for us from the rain, a kind gesture. Our drinks were made quickly as was my toast. I liked my lemonade, it was on the tart side which I prefer and the mint wasn't strong but it added a lil something. The jar is super cute so I'm looking forward to reusing it at home and by bringing it in on my future visits. The toast was delicious, simple but packed with flavor and the multigrain toast was a nice touch. Recently, they partnered with the Scottsdale location that had a fundraiser raising money for Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation, a local non-profit organization that supports physical, emotional, and financial needs of women fighting breast cancer here in Arizona. $1 of every lemonade sold went to this organization. I liked this drink because it wasn't too sweet, and they didn't add too much banana so it wasn't as thick. It was the perfect post-workout to keep me staying energized and full without needing another meal. Lemonades: *Lilikoi Strawberry* I asked the sweet cashier what her favorite lemonade was and she recommended the lilikoi strawberry. Hues of yellow (lilikoi) and pink (strawberry) made this lemonade so pretty inside the jar! the lilikoi is a tropical passion fruit. The lemonade was so refreshing and tasty. A month ago I left a pretty negative review which is below. I'd like to update the outcome. About one week after my visit the owner, Scott, called me. I explained what happened. Scott apologized and asked how he could rectify the situation for me. I requested a credit since I would have to get my dress repaired. He told me a couple days later he would have a gift card waiting for me. I went in with my grand daughter and there was a $40 gift card for me. I really like this place and appreciated Scott's attention to the matter. The kids working there on my return were very polite and friendly. The only thing I would recommend is to be careful when sitting on the wooden bench....it still has some splintering areas. Otherwise it's an adorable place to try. Thank you Scott! read more

So, I have not had their lemonade, but I've visited twice now and both times had an açaí bowl that was absolutely delicious and great on the portion size for what you pay. Sliced my gums and thought I cracked my tooth but thank god it didn't . I heard/ saw the employee switch out the dowel mid make but figured if they knew it broke in the smoothie that they would just remake it. But no, instead he served it (taking the lazy way put) and now I am paying the price .
