After a 3-hour plus hike at South Mountain, I was looking for a snack on a Saturday evening. I hopped on the trusty Yelp app, and found that Robeks Fresh Juices & Smoothies wasn't a far drive from the park. I made my way over and parked in the lot they share with Nothing Bundt Cakes and several other businesses. While it's a busy shopping center, I didn't have trouble snagging free parking. Ambiance (3/5): Robeks is pretty much a grab-and-go spot. There's a counter inside, but not seating. Directly outside of the juice and smoothie bar, there are two or three tables. I sat outside after my order was ready. Service (3/5): Service isn't a big part of the experience. You order at the counter and they call your name when your order is ready. The employee working wasn't too friendly and didn't seem like he wanted to be there. All good. It happens. Drinks (N/A): While they have a good number of smoothies, I went with an acai bowl instead. Food (2/5): I'll start things off by saying I'm a big acai bowl fan. I've had them at so many locations that I've lost count. This was the worst acai bowl I had. I went with one of their seasonal selections that had an acai base, strawberries, bananas, "granola," and honey. Man, where to start. The acai base was on the lower side quality wise compared to what I've had pretty much elsewhere. I even found an ice cube in my acai. That was a first. The "granola," rather than being the standard granola you have everywhere, was partially rice krispies or something similar to that. I was super confused. And then when it came to the fruit, there were a total of five strawberry slices in my bowl. That's less than one strawberry. I don't know if I caught them on an off night or if this is the norm. Robeks has several locations across town. If you download their app, you get a discount on your first purchase. Which I'll think about doing. Outside of that, I don't think I'll return. read more

It was like winning the electoral college but in liquid form. Acai, banana, strawberries, even spinach (we don't talk about that part)--all blended beautifully. Not weak. Not sleepy. Powerful blend. 3/25/24: had a craving for a great smoothie. We actually have a new Juicy bar five minutes from our house, but it does not come close to Robeks. That is why we happily drive 20 minutes to eat their deliciousness. My mind was set on a smoothie but instead, I bought us a couple of their acai bowls. What a great decision! They are large and have so much flavor. Best of all, their bowls and the bowl lids are commercially compostable. Their staff has always been polite and courteous. We went there for a juice, drove from Chandler to show my fiancé this place. We walk in at 4:42 and the cashier said they're done selling juices for the day. We explained that we only came for the juice and to disregard what I had ordered because there was no point. I used to work at smoothie joint and I get you want to limit the amount of dishes you acquire before close time but there was no one else there and you couldn't accommodate the customer? If you're looking for a healthier fresh smoothie or juice... Robeks is the place to go. With the rising heat we find ourselves here often now. I have tried a few menu items, all being delicious and refreshing. The evergreen and the mango turmeric madness being two of my favorites. I was so excited to try a healthy spot in the area! I stopped in for a few items for the fam. I got the almond smoothie bowl and it was so delicious and fair price at $9.99. I got my husband a large dr Robeks smoothie and my sister a 800 lb gorilla smoothie - i swapped the soy milk for almond milk and the whey protein for pea protein because my sister is allergic to wheat and soy and they made sure to note the allergy accordingly! The girl working also told me about their rewards app which gives you $3 off your first purchase upon signing up! Super nice of her to show me that so i could get a lil coupon. I used to always get Robeks. I would always get the Emperor Açaí which was amazing. I've noticed they took it off the menu. The last few times I've tried different ones and none of them have been very good. Today was my final time trying their drink and I'm SO disappointed. I was running late so I used door dash so I paid extra for that and when my drink arrived it was complete garbage. I ordered the Muscle max and I ended up throwing it out. Came back with my kids and got the classic acai bowl and watermelon smoothie! Third visit we got more smoothies, mango and watermelon, again. The drinks aren't packed with sugar, it's literally fresh organic fruits, so refreshing, especially when Az is hitting 110+. This is a great place that was definitely was well needed in the neighborhood. I ordered a Big Wednesday and I had rather enjoyed it although it was a little pricey, but that's the way it goes now for smoothies. The service was very quick even for being quite busy and they were very friendly during the whole time of getting you in and out of the place. They have small tables outside which is kind of nice to enjoy your little treat. 12/10/2023 Walked in to nobody in the front. Girl came out and we told her it was our first time in and she said let me know when your ready and walked back into the back. Didn't even bother explaining the menu or giving recommendations. Didn't crack a smile very unfriendly and rude. I get if your having a bad day but maybe you should go home then. Watch out if you're dating a good looking woman! My girl went here on Friday June 9th and she went in to make an order. The cashier who is a woman was taking my girl's drink when she asked another worker for help. Well this worker one of the 3 young black men working there... I'm not trying to bring race into this but yea it was one of the workers. He took my girl's order and he kept staring at her breasts and then when giving her the change, he tried holding her hand. I just attempted to use a bogo deal that they have on their app, and when I tried to use the QR codeI they didn't know about the deal and was giving out wrong information saying I can't use it. I was there at the 5pm -8pm period that they offer this deal. They man who rang us up Jaziel S was rude and had an attitude that confused me. When I was trying to use the deal he just put his hand out to me without saying anything, confused I attempted to scan my code with the red light scanner. Jaziel then snatched my phone from me without even saying anything to me to attempt to scan my at code, and it didn't work tried Jaziel then tried to make me pay full price. The manager at the time then stepped in and corrected the order but it just felt like Jaziel was trying to get me out his face and just out the store. He then brought out the wrong drink sizes, and my drink though the right flavor was thin and watery when I ordered the thick setting specifically.
