I checked with some folks in my neighborhood that recently had paving done and these guys were recommended. They showed up exactly the time promised. Boss and 5 workers. Ripped up the old 1-1/4" flimsy pavement and then started with the compacting, then gravel/stone dust, more compacting, coarse binder layer of asphalt, more compacting, then top coat of fine asphalt, with final compacting. I've now got a good base and more than 2x the asphalt - it should last a lot longer than me! Allstate was neat, they did a great paving job and left my driveway looking brand new. I would recommend Allstate Paving.

I called about it and they said they would look and fix it in the spring. They came, laid down some (I think) liquid asphalt and left. The exact same think happened this past winter with the first frost, but worse. This time a meeting to look at it was scheduled for this past June. Howard was argumentive from the start. It's a mess trying to sort out any sort of discussion. When the workers come to the house, they just trample your gardens and cut down flowers and bushes with no regard for anything. When there are branches or yard waste around the yard, they throw it in the trees or into the neighbors' yard. It's baffling how they have been so frequently recommended. I would not recommend them. They are way too expensive to be so careless and inconsiderate to your property - you can do much better if you shop around.
