Once my girlfriend and I decided it was time to replace our roof, we contact a few contractors to get estimates. From the very beginning Done Right Roofing (DRR), was totally focused on customer service. When we received the estimate, we also received several other PDF documents from them including references, color option information, a certificate from the BBB, client addresses where we could see the color options in person and more. The list of references wasn't just 10 or 20 names ... it was more like 400!! It's worth mentioning that DRR was also the least expensive estimate we received. I got a very nice follow up call from Jim to check in and ask if we'd made our decision. Of course we had and booked the date. Jim went over what we should expect and how we should prepare for the day. The crew and materials arrived at the time and they began work around 7:30am. The work went very fast! They finished our detached garage by 11am and the entire job was complete and cleaned up by 2:30pm. We couldn't believe how fast it all happened. There was a "walk around" after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied, which we definitely were and still are. The roof looks fantastic and we're completely satisfied with everything DRR did for us. As I mentioned in the beginning, we highly recommend them!!

First impressions last and Done Right didn't disappoint ... they actually picked up the phone when I called! A stark contrast to the half dozen other vendors I called. This is a real contrast to their competitors. Within 24 hours the owner, John Mancini, was at my property to assess wind damage. Fast forward another 24 hours and John was working with my insurance agent to negotiate a complete roof replacement! The job was done in a timely manner with a very high level of quality. My yard wasn't destroyed; there weren't nails all over the place and the new roof looked spectacular! The only issue I had was with my DirecTV dish. During the replacement the dish was reinstalled and could no longer get a clear line of sight. After a series of issues with the provider and the placement of the dish due to nuances of my property I had to move on from the service. While this was certainly not Done Right's problem or responsibility they graciously came over, removed the dish and placed new shingles where the dish was to ensure a roof done right! I can't imagine many other roofing companies would do this. Kudos to the Done Right team! Lastly, my wife and I had a baby during our install and Done Right sent us a very nice card congratulating us. How thoughtful is that?! They say you'll forget what people say to you but you'll never forget how they made you feel. Rest assured we will never forget our experience with Done Right and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a roofing company. After the…read morefirst winter, we noticed a significant puddling issue in one area of the new driveway during snow melts. We contacted the company, shared multiple pictures, and repeatedly asked them to address the problem. We specifically pointed out a visible hump in the driveway that appeared to be preventing the water from draining, including a photo where we circled the hump with the water collecting behind it. We also had a detailed discussion with the company about our concern with winter pooling and the importance of finding a long-term solution. We asked whether grading, additional substrate, or compaction could help prevent the problem. After multiple follow-ups, they eventually returned in the fall of 2025 to address the issue. Unfortunately, the same area has continued to collect water during winter thaws. We recently contacted them again, and they came out to look at the driveway. However, we were not able to come to an agreement on a solution. Their position was that the issue was due to seasonal ground movement and "mother nature." We understand that seasonal ground movement is a reality in New England, but our concern is that a completely new driveway should be designed and installed to provide reliable drainage under normal seasonal conditions at the property. The same area has collected standing water during winter thaws for two consecutive winters, even after the driveway was replaced a second time. We also don't see the same issue with the neighboring driveways. When the water freezes, it creates a sheet of ice in the driveway, which creates a significant slipping hazard. We are disappointed that the drainage issue with the new driveway has still not been resolved.

My condo was water damaged by my upstairs neighbor's overflowing bathroom sink. The water soaked…read morethrough the bathroom ceiling & fixtures. Soaked through the inner & outer walls of the linen closet. Water seeped under & on top of the hardwood floors. MA Restoration arrived within an hour to start remediation. The team brought in giant fans, drying machines, plastic walls to contain heat, removed wet wooden floor. Within a week or so it was determined there was no mold. After my insurance adjuster completed his appraisal of my heavily damaged unit, I hired MA Restoration to do the renovation work. I cannot say enough positive things about Steve Karas and his team. They are all craftsmen. They take pride in their work, they are no nonsense. They are polite, respectful, trustworthy, dependable. Always called before they arrived. Always on time to start the day. I know this because I met them every morning at 7:30. No radios, always neat, always cleaned up at the end of the day. Steve was always in contact with me regarding start dates of the renovation. He always checked with me to see if dates fit into my schedule. Steve was always available to take my phone calls or texts or to return them. He explained the renovation process step by step. Answered all my questions, no question was too dumb. The renovation was done in 2 parts. First, the bathroom. Steve had to acquire a building permit to do the renovation. Steve's team removed bathroom ceiling, celling fixtures, and linen closet walls. Old insulation was removed. Replaced with up-to-code fire wall insulation. Building inspector checked on the progress. Everything was replaced and painted. Building inspector signed off on bathroom renovation. Second project was much bigger: living and dining room, kitchen and foyer. I had about 800 ft of floating hardwood floor installed at "diagonally" throughout the 800ft of space. Lots of angles in condo which meant a lot of cutting. Another great job. Very efficient workers. John and Chris are both great workers. They arrived promptly and immediately started to relocate all my furniture to other areas of my condo. Very organized. Very careful with all of our furniture. With empty space they were able to remove all the wallpaper, and then remove about 800 ft of a floating hardwood floor. They very carefully removed all the quarter rounds. On another day, they moved my 3 kitchen appliances to another location. Nothing damaged, all very neatly done. All flooring & wallpaper removed. The painting crew did an outstanding job. Sanding and priming the walls. So smooth. They had to paint with 4 different colors. One color for ceiling, a second color for the crown molding, chair molding & baseboard, a third color for the upper wall, and a fourth color for the lower wall. Also had to paint the quarter rounds that John and Chris replaced. I had a dark brown window seat painted the same color as the trim. Doors had to be removed, primed, painted, and replaced. Excellent work. Cleaned up after themselves. John did a very professional job on the wooden fireplace surround. Used the same flooring material. All cutting of the boards was done outside the building. I did appreciate that fact. When all work was completed, Chris & John replaced all the furniture, appliances and area rugs. They neatly stacked the excess wood flooring. Steve and his crew are talented, efficient, thoughtful, don't take short cuts, use quality materials, dependable. I highly recommend them.
