**The owner is racist**Don't patronize this business if you're black*** This is an update to my previous experience. The previous experience is listed below. After my visit, I realized that the bra on the rear bumper is starting to peel. I set an appointment for 3/9 at 9 am. I arrived on time however, the installer was not there. He was estimated to be there at 12-1. They wanted me to leave my car there for 3-4 hours then the car might be ready by 4pm but they really wanted it for a day. Its only the rear bumper. Why do I need to leave my car there the whole day if they're saying that it will take him 3-4 hours to get it done? And if the installer was there on time, I would've gotten my car out by the time he would've been in. I left saying that I will be back by 12. A few hours later the owner, George, calls me asking why isn't my car at the shop. I explained and he began to argue, raising his voice. He even went as far as calling me a bitch ass n****** (funny coming from a hispanic), asking for my address stating that he's going to come to my house to beat me up, haha. After going back and forth, he said that he's going to cancel my order but of course not before getting a few more n words in. It's ok George, lets see how much black business you get after this. This is the owner of the business? I don't know how long they've been in business but I can't see them going much longer if this is the way they treat their customers and the way the owner thinks and talks to black people. George said that yelp reviews don't do shit to his company, we'll see. (2/28)...(Read this before you go)After some research in the area to decide on which company to go to for a clear bra and wrap, I decided to go with Wrap Bullys. Initially everything went fine. The secretary, Skylar, was nice. She proved price quotes and was responsive to email requests. Immediately after the clear bra was applied to my car, I noticed that there were bubbles and raised points of the plastic wrap. I brought this to their attention and was told to wait the 30 days for it to work itself out. However, after that month the problem areas were still there. I reached out to the secretary to make an appointment but due to them moving locations and a lot of confusion through emails, I waited another two months until she got back to me to let me know that I could bring my car in. When I brought my car to the initial location in Santa Fe, a tall bald man installed the wrap. At the new location in Gardena, a shorter, younger guy did the repairs. This new guy pulled me to the side and told me straight up that whoever did the initial install did not know what they were doing which is why the wrap bubbled the way it did. He said that the guy installed some kind of computer cut forms for my car. And he also told me that the way he installs the wrap would've not only avoided these issues but would've also looked better because he forms and cuts the wrap to every section of the car, not using the computer program to give him the shapes. He was working on a blue MB SUV at the time which he showed me his work and I couldn't see any lines of where the bra ended and the car began, like my car. After all this, this guy (that works for the company) told me that if he were me he would ask for them to redo the job because it was not satisfactory. I agreed and decided to take him up on his suggestion. So after he was done making the corrections to the issues with the wrap, Skyler came out to quickly walk around my car, declare that everything was good, trying to rush me out the door so that she could go back to sit in front of a computer. I moved my car pit of their garage, came back into the office where I informed her that I was still not satisfied with the job and wanted it redone. She came out again to see what I was talking about but then went into a speech about how my car had imperfections in the paint that showed up with the bra. I told her that that was not my concern. I attempted to explain that the quality of the job was subpar. Once again she rushed to get out of the situation, telling me that she would talk it over with the owner. After two weeks of not hearing anything from her, I emailed her inquiring on the status of my request. She said that the installer would call me on Thursday or Friday (it was a Tuesday). No call on Thursday. No call all day on Friday until I emailed her at 350 pm telling her that I wanted to escalate to speak to the supervisor. Within 20 mins of sending that email the owner, Cory (if he is the owner) called. I told him everything that I just explained in this letter to begin the conversation. He started his rebuttals with saying that my car is older and weather beaten so imperfections in the paint will show more with the clear bra. First, my car is a 2018. I got the bra done in 2019. You don't know what your boss said to me and further more you're probably taking his side because you have something to gain or keep, like your employment. So you're opinion on what was said or not doesn't mean anything. If you think that I would waste my time and energy to type up a small story to defame your boss and company for no reason you are sadly naive.Matter of fact, I'm all about saving my energy and not wasting my time. Which is why I decided not to leave my car at the shop if the installer is not there to work on it. It doesn't make sense for me to do that. Do you think that everyone can just leave their car somewhere for a day and what, just stay at home? Is your company compensating anyone for uber or lyft rides? No.No one is trying to change your operating procedures, but if it doesn't make sense or fit into my plans I do have the option of not complying. Furthermore, the local manager stated that once the installer came in it would take him 3-4 hours to do the job. So again, why do you need it for the whole day and why did I have to come in when the installer wasn't there. Just like I told your boss George, do you make a doctor's appointment, show up only to be told that the doctor is not in? No. What's the point of an appointment if you all (the company) is not going to honor it but would have quickly given up my time slot if I wasn't there on time?As far as your company's policies against racist acts and discrimination, you can blow it out you're a**. Why then is the owner/founder calling clients, threating them, and calling them racial epithets? If what you're saying about your company is true, George would have been quieted a long time ago. But he wasn't and your company doesn't give a s***. Answer this Nicole J., why did a previous client on 8/19/19 complain that George threaten her with physical violence? Do you think that she made that claim up too, just to lower your reviews on Yelp? Nah, where there's smoke, there's fire.
