My husband and I purchased a new Y model Tesla in the color white with plans to get it color wrapped. We have family members who got their car wrapped from another shop in the OC, so we contacted that shop first. After waiting a couple days with no reply, we found Precision One through Yelp. It is important to note this WAS NOT the team's fault and simply more on the malfunctioned parts. When you spend more on your car than you do on yourself, take your car to Precision One. They are car guys and have exceptional detail. Got a few quotes from other PPF installers before I chose Richard and his team. Due to the scope of work that my car needed, including removal of old PPF on one panel, reapplication of full front PPF (fenders, headlights, hood) and multi-stage paint correction and full ceramic coating - it was a full week before I got my baby back. There's also a follow up appointment two weeks out to trim any edges when the PPF cures. Precision One wraps as many edges as possible vs my previous PPF application which was DAP-cut. A bit of backstory: I had PPF and ceramic coating applied back in 2018. Since then, I've had washes and mobile detailing. A recent accident involved replacing two panels (hood and fender) - they buffed the entire car after the repair was done. No more ceramic coating! Paint probably suffered from run-of-the-mill polishing since they're a body shop and not a detailer. Richard and his team replaced my headlight PPF, mirror PPF and went up to 3-stage on the paint correction! I had Suntek Reaction installed and Gtechniq CSL. Most of the cars are Teslas, but don't be afraid to take your non-Tesla car in. Car washes are easier than ever. Water just sheets off! Apparently I shouldn't use a chamois to dry, only microfiber! They can explain all the different levels of darkness available and how that relates to applicable DMV requirements. Would use them again in a heartbeat. This review is my honest review with Precision One Design. It's a bit of an emotional rollercoaster ride, but in the end, it was well worth going with them. The story starts with my wife's 2021 CX-5 that we bought one week prior. I asked for a quote on full-frontal PPF, chrome delete, and ceramic window tint. Richard was clear and concise about the scope of work and price, so we scheduled. We had planned a time after our road trip to Yosemite, but a few days later, Richard called to tell us that he had a much-appreciated cancellation. We dropped the car off, and it took three days for completion. Finally, the car was finished one day before our road trip, and it was looking great. However, on our drive up to Yosemite, we noticed spider swirls in the windshield tint. We called Richard, and he scheduled us first thing when we returned to assess the swirls. After dropping off the car for the windshield tint, we got a call a few hours later saying that the scratches were on the windshield and not the tint. It was difficult to accept that there was damage to the windshield of our new car. Richard and I talked for a bit and decided to see if the dealership would replace it, but it wasn't under warranty. Since we couldn't figure out what happened to the windshield, Richard took full responsibility and paid for a replacement, and re-tint the windshield. Richard took care of everything without hassle. The customer service from him is top-notch. His word is bond, and it was something that we couldn't overlook. My wife is happy with the results and Richard's professionalism.
