Something told me let's try yelp especially since I'm an elite helper why not. We came across Mike, within minutes we got a reply and an amazing price. He came same day took out the old Compressor and installed the new one. The work was very professional and very honest person. He is definitely knowledgeable of what he is doing and what is needed. I brought my car to Meredith Auto for a vibration in the front left dashboard. Lee, the owner, went for a drive with me and heard the vibration. He suspected the kick panel. The car was ready in about an hour and a half, but the vibration was unchanged. I returned to the shop. Lee said he had replaced clips in the kick panel and that the vibration was gone when he drove it. However, the vibration was still present. We went for another drive, and although he acknowledged the noise, he said it was the panel and that he didn't know what else to do. No further diagnostics were performed. I later took the car to another garage which found multiple problems. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Meredith Auto for diagnostic work.

I had a very concerning experience here and would not recommend this shop based on how my situation…read morewas handled. I originally brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic/coolant issue. The shop sent an approval/deny request by text for additional work, and I did not approve it through that system. I also only asked questions about pricing over the phone. I called because they wanted to charge me almost $500 for a part and around 200 for labor. The OEM part goes for no more than $130. On the phone call I did not clearly authorize the repair. Despite that, I was told the work had been done. When I questioned it, I was told I had given verbal approval, which I disputed. I was not willing to pay 700 plus dollars for this repair when I knew It was not worth that. I told them to go ahead and remove the part they replaced and give me back the original piece. This ended in a heated conversation over the phone. When I went to pick my car up, I asked questions about what was done and tried to get clarification, I felt like my concerns were brushed off, and I was not allowed to speak with the technician who worked on my vehicle. They refused all communication and I was asked to leave. After leaving, I noticed serious issues related to the coolant system. My coolant reservoir was completely empty, my heat would only work while driving and not at idle, my coolant temperature reached 258°F while driving, and I found what appeared to be a loose hose/coolant residue and a damaged or broken-looking cap/part near the reservoir area. I am including photos of what I found. Regardless of the disagreement about authorization, my biggest concern is that my vehicle did not appear to be returned to me in a safe or properly completed condition. I paid for the diagnostic, but I left feeling extremely uncomfortable with the lack of communication, the lack of clear answers, and the condition of the vehicle afterward. I would strongly recommend getting everything in writing, asking for detailed documentation, and carefully checking your vehicle before leaving this shop. Or avoid this place at all cost!!!!!
