I was told it might be the alignment, or the tire balancing; I had them do both. I was told my brakes were "worn" (whose aren't?!), but didn't have that done. I was also told the age of my tires might be leading to dry rot. (5 years) When I got out on the highway, the vibration was WORSE! I had to drive at a slower speed to a Subaru dealer in VA. They told me I had a bubble in one tire, & they were "feathering". I had them check the brakes, & they MEASURED the brakes pads at 3 mm, which indicated they needed replacing. Tires were on sale. So I replaced! My Master mechanic son-in-law, When he had taken a look at my tires & heard my story, said: "You need to find a new place to take your car." Wasted $175!

So we paid the diagnostic charge and left. Seems pretty untrustworthy to me when they lie from the start. I will definitely not return to this shop or recommend them to anyone.

They have now had my car for 8 months, took it in October 2025. I have picked it up six times (no exaggeration) after being told it was "fixed" to only not even MAKE IT HOME before breaking down. They tried to do a cheap repair, you would think that after the 3rd or 4th time they would realize it is a bigger issue. So now I am being told it will be a few more months as we are waiting on a part. Craig the GM refuses to ask the machine shop where the part is in transit he also refuses to tell me who has ordered the part. They act like they are doing me a favor my fixing their mistake and seem bothered when I text to ask questions. I am nervous posting this as I don't want their work to be any worse. Will post an update when (If) I get my car back. They have had it so long, I cancelled the insurance on it. I have been making payments on a car that has spent more time in the shop that in the driveway all because they jacked up an oil change. Their customer service is one of the worst I have experienced.

Rackley's is shady. I called Rackley's on a Monday to schedule a time to drop my car off and was…read moretold to bring it in Wednesday morning. I dropped my car off Wednesday morning and was told "we can't get to it today but we'll call you tomorrow". I left Rackley's with instructions to let me know the cost and nature of repairs before performing any work and was assured that this would happen(it didn't). I get a call later from Zach to ask why my car is there(again) and am told(again) that they'll call me and let me know what they find. After hearing nothing for three days I call Rackley's on a Saturday to find out what's going on with my car and am told they finished the work(!) and that someone will totally call me Monday morning when it's ready to be picked up. Of course, Rackley's fails to call Monday morning so I give them a ring a couple hours before they close and they tell me my car still needs work(?) and that after Zach checks on something they'll call me right back. Rackley's never calls back and I have to call them, yet again, and tell them to stop whatever they're doing and that I'm on my way to pick up my car. I'm floored by the lack of communication and professionalism from Rackley's and despite living within walking distance will never use them again.

Paid for another tow and they are telling me it is going to be $1,500 for yet "a different" reason. There is no way. They are rude and absolutely awful to deal with. My car has broke down 3 different times with my three kids in the car and I am out over $3,000 for nothing.
