I got this contractor match through Home Depot. Courteous and rapid in scheduling my assessment. Charged me $175 for the site visit which took approx. 8 minutes to complete. The quote to open up the ceiling downstairs (sheet rock, 10X10), remove existing tub upstairs, and install new drop in tub was nearly $15,000 in labor. This is the first time my wife and I had a major problem in our mobile home. December 30th out of the blue our 40 gallon hot water heater blew. Water was everywhere outside, master bath and second bedroom. We were at a loss of what to do and who to call for help. We ended up getting 2 bids on the job. First guy lowballed cost to try to get job and it was very obvious. Wright Brothers quote by Renatto gave second bid. Renatto is very professional and knowledgeable about his craft. I got this contractor matched through Home Depot. However when I got a call from the contractor, I am told that he will charge me $175 just to visit and give a quote for the project. If we end up signing a contract, he would issue credit for the $175 towards the project. Reading other reviews, seems like they increased the price from $120. Naturally, I said "thanks, but no thanks". They may be very competent at what they do, but I am not willing to pay $175 if we decide not to work with them, especially if they are going to come and give us a quote for 4 or 5 times higher than the rest. read more

Wright Brothers Builders Inc. responded right away especially Mr. Renatto Calderon. Everything was timely from agreeing on the scope of work, to the submitting of invoice, and especially the deliverables. Mr. Renatto and his team did outstanding work with fixing our plumbing focusing on putting new parts for the Masters and Guest showers, vanity faucets, toilets as well as the kitchen faucet. The work was done very professionally as in spotless like you would not even notice that they had bore holes on the drywalls to be able to reach the plumbing like in the showers. The team did a great job of explaining why they had to fix certain parts and also provided options on what to buy for the plumbing. They were able to do a last minute changing of the Masters sink and counter top into a new set on the day I needed it since I had a flight out of the US the following week and they were able to deliver it finishing it in a day. We had Wright Brothers replace a failing attic ladder and they were fantastic! This was our second attempt at this job; first tried with a handyman, but learned (the hard way) that it's really a two-person job due to location and challenges with unevenness in area where ladder attaches. These guys completed job, from measuring, to sourcing & purchasing the ladder to installation to clean up in one day. They were punctual, professional, polite and left the work area spotless. We needed an estimate to "possibly" level our floor. Renatto came out, was prompt and courteous. He was referred to us by Home Depot. He was here maybe 5 minutes, NEVER measured the floor, claimed he can see the floor has some unlevel areas (wait doesn't every floor have some degree of unleveling, especially in a home built in late 70's) and said it would cost $8000.00 just to level the floor (500 sq ft). I remarked you must not want this job, but thank you for coming. Never heard of a contractor coming out to a home, not even measuring any part of the job and be able to quote a price especially that high. I got Wright Brothers builders referral from Home Depot, I live in San Mateo CA I was looking for General contractors that will work with my Insurance company because I had fire in one of bedroom in my house and the smoke went though the whole house , i have to repair and remodel the whole house. I was interviewing others too , when Renatto Marketing manager came to my house he was very courteous and wear a mask and Measured my house and took pictures ,I just got the good feelings I want to hire Wright brothers for the job and I was very pleased and happy I made right choice to hiring Wright brothers for the job , they work very hard and Finnish the job on time , the Process going though remodeling the whole house they work with me and listen what I like to be done to the house , they painted walls and did the dry wall and new doors and new flooring and New chimney caps and did closet's and new window , and electric. Awesome job, I was very happy and joy , after remodeled it is new house ! After a full foundation replacement on our 80 year old house, we needed a huge amount of stucco replaced. This was difficult to do because we have a different type of stucco finish on our house - its mostly smooth with some sweeping motions throughout. Needless to say, in order to not have our house look like frankenstein (old stucco on top, new stucco on bottom), I was nervous about getting this done properly and even considered replacing the entire surface of the house with wood siding. Instead, we found Renato and his crew - they did an amazing job replacing a small amount of siding and fixing all of the stucco! It is now all painted one color and you would never know that we had the bottom half done 80 years after the initial stucco by a different crew - they were quick, thorough, came back and refined as I asked, and super responsive. I will use Wright Brothers again and again for the many things I will likely need for this old house in the future!! Thank you!! read more

Renatto the marketing manager came to my home to give an estimate he was rude condescending and arrogant. He proceeded to tell me that he was the only person in the area who could fix the issue. He reported that he would be getting back to me with an estimate he did not measure and when I tried ask him what flooring he would be using to provide the estimate he then started lecturing me. I felt talked down to I felt disrespected and I am very anxious and upset. read more

Well, where to start - i will agree with other posters that Renato was very professional in looking at the job and giving a quote for the estimated work/job. It certainly works for customers with high end/ high budget work, but NOT for a average customer. He is someone who can serve the top 10 percentile who are willing to spend more money or has a crazy budget. However, when i talked to him over the phone, he said he will charge $120 just to give a quote and if we decide to go with his quote, he will then deduct the $120 charge from the total cost. Unfortunately, the quote he gave was 4 - 5 times higher than i got from other Handyman. So for example, if i had 1000$ quote from other Handymen, he gave me 4000-5000$ quote. But as a consumer, i still DO NOT understand his explanation for the 120$ service charge. Honestly he DID NOT do any detective work, but just looked at our place and gave a quote like other handymen. So, beware, DON'T call him if you are looking to compare with other Handymens out there. I mean, he is totally out of range and i don't understand his concept of service charge. I wanted to write this down here, as i don't want others to loose the $120 which i got put over the drain just like that. I would NOT recommend this company, unless you have a pretty big budget or looking for a high-end custom work. read more

The Wright Brothers Builders came here and did a complete house remodel. They remodeled our kitchen. They put in a new gas-line, range, hood, new cabinets, and a giant island with granite countertops. The company relocated our small bathroom, and a few walls, to replace with a bigger bathroom and shower. They changed our floors and put in new engineered wooden flooring through the entire house. They were very quick, courteous and efficient. I highly recommend the Wright Brothers for your home upgrades or remodel. read more

Renato and his team charged up front $120 to come down and do inspection of my garage. He did a very good job in fully updating my garage. I also got few other works done by him like painting and pressure cleaning. They are not the cheapest but I believe they did a professional work for the price. Just make sure that you get things in writing for the work you are getting done. I would recommend him for any housing related work. read more

These guys are wonderful! Renatto, their manager, was polite, responsive, always available. His original estimate for the bathroom upgrade was the 2nd lowest of the five we received, and he came in on budget, even though his workers encountered unexpected problems during the course of work. He estimated the work would take two weeks, and they finished one day sooner than the estimate. The work involved an upgrade to an existing bathroom, including new tiling, toilet, sink, shower, fan, lighting, paint, etc.: it is now the best looking room in the house. The Wright Brothers Builders have completely renovated our master bathroom, knocking down a wall, installing new floors, putting in a soaker tub and individual glass subway tiles as the tub surround to the ceiling. They put in the toilet and new vanity, as well as installed the mirrors, ceiling vent, lights and medicine cabinet. They put in a beautiful custom paneled door, as well as painted the adjoining master bedroom and installed a ceiling fan. They have done exceptional work; their attention to detail and to customer satisfaction exceeds my expectations (and I have high standards). Renatto as the Manager of the project connected with us every day, sometimes multiple times a day. He listened and made sure that every single detail was taken care of, no matter how small. He takes pride in the work of his team, and he really cares that everything is exactly to our requirements. He gave design suggestions that were really great, and I have been very pleased with his professionalism and communication. Every time the workers left, they cleaned up after themselves.
