Jonathan was the fourth plumber, and the only one willing to thoroughly investigate, problem-solve, and see the job through. Where others gave up, Jonathan went above and beyond. His expertise, patience, and honesty solved issues that others and my contractor couldn't resolve. He carefully worked around electrical wiring, created access points when needed, installed a complex faucet in extremely tight conditions, and clearly explained every step so I could make informed decisions. He asked me to text him photos of the work we wanted done; then estimated the time it would take, and his hourly rate. He was available in a time frame that was optimal for us, which I really appreciated. Our top priority projects were a clogged bathroom sink, and a pipe that needed replacing in the garage sink. He did both of those projects in the estimated time, or even a little bit less time. We also wanted the pipes replaced under the kitchen sink, because a previous plumber had put in plastic pipes, which had fallen apart, and were being held together with tape. We thought that would need to be done another day, but he had the pipes in his truck, and quickly replaced the plastic pipes. All of that work took less than two hours, and he had all of the parts he needed with him. The total bill, including parts and labor, was very reasonable. I wanted a second opinion so I contacted Honrath & Stacey. They sent Joey and an assistant, and he said they could make the repairs using parts in the van. Total cost was 1/4 the repair cost quoted by the first guys and it took a little over an hour. H&S charges $189 for the visit, minimum. The first place charged $89. Draw your own conclusions, but I think $89 is a loss-leader price not reflective of actual costs. You get what you pay for
