They never call their patients to remind them…read moreof their upcoming appointment and due to that I miss some appointments and the last one my father was in the ICU in critical condition and now they won't see me anymore. Dr. Mercurio is an amazing dentist but his office management sucks and if anyone wants to go there I highly recommend that you don't because of their poor scheduling and reminding their patients of appointments. The lady at the desk who does all the scheduling is the rudest person every and again I made my last appointment 6 months in advance and with my mental health and no reminder calls or text I missed it and again when I found out I called right away to apologize and let them know my father was in the ICU all she said is you're no longer a patient here. No heart what so ever. Makes me sick that they would drop people for their lack of communication and lack of reminders. I see enough doctors and specialist for medical treatment from Jamestown to Buffalo and the only one who never called with a reminder of an upcoming appointment is this office. Dr. Mercurio needs to get on top of his staff and do right by his patients by making sure his office staff is reminding patients of their appointments plan and simple

I had my first visit to Southtown Smiles yesterday. The office is very clean and bright. The…read moredental hygienist (Shannon) was wonderful. Explained everything she was doing and probably had the most gentle touch i have ever had for a cleaning. Dr Hejazi was very friendly and thorough and explained everything he wanted to do and took time to answer any questions I had. The receptionist worked with me to get a followup appointment to fit my schedule. i am a huge chicken when it comes to going to the dentist but everyone in office puts you at ease. I would highly recommend them.

We are new to Southtown Smiles, i was nervous bringing my girls ages 10 & 4 as they are always…read morenervous for dentist visits. I am very pleased to say the staff was absolutely wonderful with both myself and my girls. We showed up on time and were seen right away, checked in by a wondeful secretary. It seems to have been updated and is very clean(always a big plus for me!) My 4yo cried and was shaking when we first arrived but the dental hygienists went above and beyond to make my girl feel safe and comfortable. They walked her through every step and let her touch the brush before they used it which helped calm her down tremendously. I am beyond grateful for the patience they had with her. Dr. Rush Hejazi was absolutely wonderful as well! He was thorough, kind, honest and gentle (major plus there!). He gave us all the information we needed for looking into braces for my 10yo. I am grateful to have been referred there by friends. We will definitely be regulars!

Went to see Dr. Rumfola as a new patient. Scheduling my 1st appointment as a new patient, I only…read morehad to wait 4 or 5 days to get the time slot I wanted. Upon arriving I was warmly greeted by his receptionist Heather. My wife came along for the ride and waited out in the waiting room for me. My wife said Heather was very nice and asked her if she wanted to change the style of music in the waiting room. She also asked her how her day was what she did for her job. My wife said Heather helped pass the time. As for Dr. Rumfola and his assistant. They were both very down to earth and made every effort to make sure I was at ease and not in any discomfort. They took X Rays and did an exam of my teeth and took impressions for a partial. Note this was the 1st time I've ever had this done and it was a breeze. So now that we came up with a game plan, I await without hesitation my next appointment with Dr. Rumfola! Who knew there would come a day where I look forward to going to the dentist! 2 thumbs up for Dr. Rumfola!
