TLDR - Dentists and Hygienists are great, the receptionist is not (don't go in early even if they text you requesting you to come in because you'll end up wasting that time in the waiting room)! I have been going to this place for the last 4 years and honestly, this is the first time I have had any issue with them. The blame goes to the receptionist because the dentists and the hygienists are actually very nice and considerate. The receptionist on the other hand, has no regard for people's time, is rude and does not own a mistake when she makes one. I had my appointment at 3 pm today. I get a message around 1:50 pm that my hygienist is free early and asking if I could come in sooner. I check my work schedule, talk to my boss and decide to go early to accommodate THEIR request. I text back saying I can be there by 2:40 pm and they reply saying OK. I get there and am asked to be seated. It is now 3 pm and I am upset that I had to get permission to leave early just to sit in the waiting area. I ask the receptionist what the point of asking me to come early was and she goes in to inquire. Apparently, even though they knew I was coming early, they gave another patient to my hygienist right before I arrived. I am not attended to until 3:10 pm so essentially I came in early for no reason. The hygienist was polite and apologized even though it is not her fault to be assigned a patient while waiting for me. On the other hand, the receptionist is extremely rude to me, does not apologize once and when I point out that they shouldn't have texted me when they weren't ready for me, all she says is "that was not our intention". Well, clearly it was because you CHOSE to assign another patient to my hygienist while knowing that I am on my way coming in early at your request. I am away from my work desk a lot more than I needed to be because of her and she takes no accountability. If the management sees this, I hope they talk to the lady at the reception so she doesn't treat anyone this way in the future. read more

Do not go to inspire Dental for any extensive work. It is sub par work they do not refer out when they should and there is a 2-year 6-month statute of limitations in order to file a claim after that the dentist gets away with malpractice . I had three root canals done by doctor Pathak in which she should have referred out she never even finished the root canal and did subpar Medical performance on all three of them as a result I'm losing two of my teeth maybe all three . And there's nothing I can do about it because it's beyond two years . Please don't support them move away from them and get good insurance read more

Initially, I began this review April 19, 2021. I'd gone in as an emergency appointment because of a problem I was having. Anticipating an extraction of a molar, I was happily surprised to find the problem was not what I had thought. A little more than nine weeks later, and today having had my first regular cleaning and check-up at Inspire Dental, I am even happier to still have that tooth, the problem having abated, and all of its neighbors. My next appointment is scheduled for 6 months from now. Inspire Dental is very clean and modern, staff pleasant and friendly. The hygienist I had today, Angelica, did a thorough job, always with concern for my comfort. The dentist I saw today, Dr. Kenneth Lee, is also the dentist I saw when I was there in April. Today, as then, he impressed me as very knowledgeable and capable. Inspire Dental website lists all the providers of dental insurance they accept, and if you don't have insurance, they have their own dental savings plan. I am quite confident that I have finally found a dentist and dental group that I can trust. N.B. New York State, at this time, continues to require masks be worn in all health care facilities. read more

My dentist of 25 years left his private, single practice about 5 years ago to join Inspire. It's been downhill from there. The most recent incident has resulted in my severing that 30+ year relationship with my trusted dentist. I had a regular 6 month hygienist appointment at the Inspire office closest to my home (not where my dentist practices) with a specific hygienist who I like and trust. At check-in, I was asked for payment, which included a $180 charge for a panoramic xray, which I refused to accept. I would likewise refuse to pay for a full body MRI from my primary care physician. If there was a specific issue or problem demanding this expensive procedure, such as an implant, I wouldn't object. However, I was told that my cleaning appointment would not be honored because I refused the panoramic xray. I wasd told this by a clerk. There was no consultation with my dentist! This follows my last appointment where I had a complaint about food being trapped between two teeth. I was given a treatment plan after a 5 minute exam and a single xray - and a $200 bill for the exam in addition to the $1,600 treatment plan. I emailed my dentist explaining the abhorrent treatment from the people he works for. He promised a call from his office manager to look into the matter which I never received. I've since made an appointment with a new provider. BTW, I've been good for a good $5 - 6,000 / year in out of pocket payments to Inspire. Maybe when my new dentist's records request is received, someone at Inspire will take a look at their patient treatment and realize that they lost a hell of a lot more than the $180 I declined to agree to.+ read more

Cannot say enough positive things about the team at Inspire Dental! I'm someone who's been through the wringer when it comes to dental and orthodontic work. From two sets of braces to many bad experiences with a childhood dentist, I've been through it all and sometimes, the thought of dental work scares me. After a gap in dental treatment due to lack of insurance, I was nervous to start fresh with a new dental team. Inspire Dental came highly recommended, and I'm so glad I chose them to begin dental treatment again. Everyone on the staff, from the receptionists to my dentist, Dr. Lee, is so darn kind and respectful. They keep communication open and there is never, ever any judgement. I have been using Inspire Dental for about two years now. I was happy when they first opened because it is in my neighborhood making it very convenient to attend appointments. I have been happy with them ever since. I've never had to wait very long (sometimes no wait at all) for my scheduled appointment which is another bonus. Besides having regular cleaning and checkups I purchased the teeth whitening trays. I am very glad I did because the trays fit snugly and they are comfortable to wear overnight. My teeth have never looked better. read more

I hate to write a bad review about Inspire because up until this recent experience, I always had great experiences. However, I think it's important to share my experience. I was experiencing severe pain in a tooth, the pain had moved from my tooth and caused major swelling in the entire right side of my face, including my right eye. I had gone to the ER prior to getting an emergency appointment and was prescribed an antibiotic. I was in excruciating pain from this tooth, and was relieved when they were able to see me right away. The dentist who saw me said that a root canal that was done 3 years ago was infected and that I would need to come back for an oral surgeon consultation to get it replaced with an implant. She spent all of 10 minutes with me and the appointment was set up for over a month later. The upcoming appointment with the dental surgeon was a consultation only. When I returned home, I decided to get a 2nd opinion, since the pain was absolutely unbearable and the swelling was increasing. I went to another dentist the following day and not only did they tell me that the tooth should be removed as soon as possible, they strongly urged me to go to the ER for an antibiotic IV drip and prescribed cortisone so to help with the severe swelling. They booked my extraction for 10 days out as they wanted to make sure that the antibiotics worked to reduce the infection and that the tooth would be ready for extraction and not a "hot tooth." Sadly this experience with Inspire has resulted in my finding another practice. read more

I had my first appointment at Inspire dental on March 31,2023. Chad cleaned my teeth and did a great job. The dentist I had an appointment with did not show up so I did not have a dental exam. I did however receive an email stating that I needed 3,500 dollars worth of dental treatments. I called and asked to speak to a dentist about the work that needed to be done. When I got a call back he defended the changes but back tracked when I asked many questions. I did go to another dentist for a second opinion and he confirmed I did not need all that work done. Short story time: I cracked a molar a few weeks back, super uncomfortable, lots of pain. My Dentists was on vacation for the month, his receptionist said I should schedule an extraction and gave me a referral to an oral surgeon. Whew! Just yank the tooth and no more pain! So I call the referral, and they will perform the extraction... 7 WEEKS FROM THE DAY I CALLED. 7 WEEKS OF PAIN. 7 WEEKS OF GETTING ANXIETY WHENEVER I THINK ABOUT EATING. They urge me to go see a dentists in the interim. What can I do? I schedule it for the end of November. I go into the office, and moan about my tooth/distant appointment to my coworkers. Jen perks up and says, "Try Inspire, they're great." Thank the heavens she did. I call them, why not, couldn't hurt, my DDS is on vacation and I should have someone take a look anyway. I call. I explain my agony. They can see me that day. I had to have her repeat it, I was in disbelief. "Sure, does 3 o'clock work?" Oh it works. I leave work early and head over. The office is beautiful. The staff is welcoming. They see me immediately. The dentists knows what needs to be done. I explain that I have an extraction scheduled for the end of November. He says: "Why not get them out sooner?" Well, I didn't know that was an option. "How about Monday?" he says. I'm dreaming right? Monday? This anguish could be over by Monday? Book it. He tells me I'll be seeing Dr. Charles. I'm over the moon about this. Monday comes along, I'm nervous. I'm the nervous type anyway. They prep me. Everyone is amazing. All friendly, all putting me at ease. I start to relax. In comes Dr. Germain Charles. He shakes my hand, ask me how I am doing. I explain my nerves. He puts me at ease in seconds. His confidence really made me feel calm. He explains everything. We get started. 15 minutes later. The problem molars are gone. I felt nothing. It was painless. All I see is Dr. Charles smiling at me and telling me what a great job I did. I can' t thank this man enough. I wish all my dental related visits could be this smooth, this professional, this....easy. I mean, I've had cleanings that were more uncomfortable than this man pulling two molars! He's a genius! I just got back home from getting my teeth extracted from Inspire Dental Group and I must say that I am beyond impressed with how smooth everything went. From the plentiful options of times available and willingness of them to set me up with a next day visit with Dr Kenneth A. Lee to whom set me up with the appointment with Dr Germain Jean-Charles (because I had an infection, Dr Lee couldn't do anything at that current time). Now I've had dentist in the past, military, civi and with them all, there was some type of issue/issues that kept things from running smoothly. Whether it was cost, pain, discomfort, communication. I received NONE of that here. The receptionist upon entering is nice and greets you...all the staff are amazingly friendly. Today was my 1st day meeting Dr Germain Jean-Charles, and he was the one to help relieve me of my pain. His assistant was and did an awesome job! The whole procedure was crazy quick!!! I've had extractions done before, and OMG...felt like I was on a horror movie being tormented. It went so smooth and quick, I thought he was kidding when he said that I did a good job and was set. Only difficult part for me was keeping my mouth open because I couldn't tell how wide I had it due to the numbness. Very knowledgeable guy and I will be coming back with questions for future dental work. The worst part of it all...I can't workout for a few days. As I'm sure most people do, I hate going to the dentist or having to gat dental work done. Walking into the office dreading it, I was immediately greeted by a smiling face and warm comfortable atmosphere. Allison was first to take me back into the office, and despite being quite self-conscious about my teeth, she made the atmosphere quite comfortable and stress free, even offering insight into different things I could try given my specific situation. Dr. DeRose was also very pleasant. Quick, clearly knowledgeable, and flexible schedule wise offering next appointments within a week if needed. Coming from a past dentists office with a month long waiting list, staff that you could tell hated their jobs, and a crowded dirty waiting room, inspire is an incredibly welcome change.
