    Dirty bucket silverware was delivered in.

    My brother contracted The Wright Group to provide tents, tables , linens & dinnerware for his wedding reception. The day before the event the company arrived to erect the tents and deliver the items. The setup was supposed to accommodate 33 guests for a sit down meal. They delivered three 8 foot tables and 31 chairs. (2 chairs short) More importantly we realized only 24 chairs would fit around the tables. The invoice said 8' table (seats 10 people). However, even if an 8' table could seat 10 people, there would still only be enough room for 30 people. We immediately called our sales rep, but no answer and no return call, so we called Tom. He offered to bring another tent & 2 more tables, for an additional charge and if his schedule allowed. We explained that our original sales rep "John" met with us, we told him we had 33 guests for a sit down meal and this is what he sold us. Tom's response was, "Well John was fired because he couldn't get to work on time. These are the mathematics we always use, 10 people to every 8' table," At that time my cousin who is a wedding planner arrived. She explained to Tom: 8' table = 8 people, 10' table = 10 people,etc... we were able to figure out a way to make it work by creating a separate kids table and a T shaped head table, without having to erect another tent. We asked Tom to send over 2 more tables when he brought the missing chairs, which he said he would do the next day (day of event), but with every contact all he wanted to talk about was "picking up a check for the balance." As we started to unpack the glassware, place settings, silverware and linens we were so disappointed and frustrated to find that ALL of the items were wrong &/or dirty! We called Tom back and told him, we chose stemless wine glasses and we received mismatched stemmed glasses, mismatched silverware and plates. The plates, hi-ball glasses & silverware were dirty and delivered in dirty buckets, so they had to be run through the dishwasher. The napkins were 3 different colors of blue and different textures. Then we started going through the chairs and found that 5 of them were broken and not usable. The others were dusty and looked as though they had been sitting outside in a rainstorm. We had to dry dust them and then use Murphy's Oil Soap on them to clean them. The tables were delivered with dried food on them. As this point, my family was so frustrated & disappointed. My cousin called Tom directly & gave him a list of things that were wrong and she expected him to correct all of these issues by 10:30 AM the day of the event. She asked him to quality control the items before they left the warehouse. He agreed, but again, wanted to advise us that he would be expecting a check for the balance. The delivery drivers arrived around 11 AM the next morning, but when we unwrapped the chairs 3 of the 5 were broken, more mismatched silverware, the linens were the wrong color and round (we had rectangle tables) and the stemless glasses they sent in cardboard boxes were dirty and had dried lipstick and red wine in them. As you can understand, another call was made to Tom. He acted as if this was such a surprise to him, as "he personally inspected everything before it was delivered". He offered the excuse that many people called out sick that day. Yet again, we sent back the items and called Tom! Third times a charm right? NO!!! With the event approaching quickly (5:30), at 3:30, Jason the delivery manager shows up with the replacements for the broken chairs, linens and silverware. The chairs were correct, the silverware..."well it would have to do!" (we washed it too!), but the linens, yet again were round!!! Oh and this time we had a nice selection of royal and navy blue and satin finish and polyester. With no time to spare we did the best with what we had. When we discovered they brought the wrong linens again, Jason told us, "Well you gotta learn to roll with the punches when things like this happen and not let it bother you. You can't be so particular about these things." Totally unprofessional!!! Save yourself the nightmare that we went through with this company!!! If I could give a zero star rating I would!!!

This is the only negative review I've written about any of our wedding vendors. We went with these guys because they were in Fort Collins since we got married near there, they seemed reasonable in price (cheaper than most of those we got quotes from), and they had good reviews overall. However... I was not impressed. They started out seemingly easy to speak with and get info from, but immediately after we made a down payment I started struggling with them and it continually got worse the closer we got to our wedding. There were times I felt they lacked in responsiveness to questions we had, they were unhelpful and often rude in answering questions the closer we got to the wedding, and made our payment process super difficult (we accidentally cut a check that was an over payment and instead of simply providing a refund they added stress to our plate by voiding the check and making us render new payment - I've not had other vendors in the past do something like that so I was super shocked at how unprofessional they were in handling this, and this was never discussed with us as a company policy of theirs so we were caught off guard). Even being on the other side of our event by a couple weeks I'm still so frustrated with how we were treated. Also, I recommend to all other couples looking to get married carefully read the fine print, they will gauge you for anything they can (be it removing a line item and being fined for it or outrageous cost for setup that they didn't discuss ahead of time). I felt like the closer we got to the wedding the harder and more frustrating they were to work with, and didn't even give us an adequate delivery time window until basically right before the wedding which was very difficult when we were trying to juggle so much stuff at the same time. Thankfully everything got delivered and picked up and seemingly without trouble, but ultimately I will never again rent from them and wouldn't recommend them to others. Additionally the owner's inability to take feedback and work with a customer to remedy their experience shows to me a lack of effective leadership and a disregard for their customers. Ultimately to me reiterates that had I known then what I know now, I wouldn't have done business with them.
