We had a driver stranded on the side of the highway for many hours after the first tow company we called failed to show up and couldn't provide any updates. After waiting far too long, we reached out to Wright Tire & Auto, and the difference in service was immediate. As soon as I called, the phone rang one time before someone answered. The person in the office was extremely professional and efficient. Once I gave them the go‑ahead, driver Brandon called us right away, confirmed he was on the way, and even reached out directly to our driver to reassure him that help was coming. He kept us updated the entire time -- something we truly appreciated. He told us he'd be there in 30 minutes, and he absolutely delivered. Despite extreme weather and dangerous road conditions -- conditions that caused other tow companies to turn us down -- Brandon still made it out. He called again when he was pulling up to the scene and had both our driver and the semi safely heading back to our shop shortly after. Meanwhile, the original tow company still had not even arrived. I've also used them for personal work as well. they're usually priced fairly, and don't mind if you bring in your own parts. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Extremely unprofessional establishment. Went in, visibly exhausted after walking an hour and 30 minutes on an empty stomach to the edge of town to retrieve my vehicle. Quite snidely told the lady at the front desk to please give me back my vehicle. She rudely asked me for $138 and my driver's license, and then rudely reiterated my vehicle information back to me. After handing her the money/ID and confirming my vehicle I moped around on the desk until she, again, rudely told me someone (not giving me a name, which seems to be a recurring issue when negative customer service is given) would meet me in the back to retrieve my vehicle. Upon making it to the back lot there was no one to meet me, just two men detaching a car who paid no attention to me (not sure why this job needed two workers when I clearly came back there for help). After checking my car up and down, inside, around there was a scratch to the driver side mirror and paint chipped. At the moment I was too upset to confront the issue head on with the unprofessional receptionist and left the building. After making it home, I called the establishment to file a compliant about my scratched mirror (the call was not to mention the receptionist). After I stated that my car now has a scratch on the driver side mirror, the receptionist, without a word, hung up on me. A paying customer. Mind you, in this phone call I did not state my name, car make/model or any identifying feature of who the caller was. Without accurate information of who the caller was I was hung up on when stating a compliant. That is completely unprofessionalism. After calling back the receptionist admitted there was a possibility my car could have been scratched, and that she would let her boss know of my concern (all while in a rude, condescending tone). I did not appreciate this or felt it suitable enough for paint damage and the lack of professionalism, and asked to be transferred to her boss. She says, "(my car brand) girl wants to talk to you" before transferring me. Is this how you refer to all your paying customers? Not by their name but simply by the car brand? At my mechanic shop they do not do that, because they do not lack professionalism such as this business. She has seen and entered my ID information, she is aware of my name. After being transferred to her boss, he stated there would be no possible way my car's driver side mirror would be scratched by them, and if anything, "we would have knocked something off" when transferring or unloading my vehicle. I care a great deal about my car I am well aware of the way it always looks. This scratch was not there this morning. The boss refused to admit or acknowledge any damage, as well as refusing to admit his employee displayed unprofessionalism behavior instead reminding me, "treat others the way you want to be treated". As if that's a law governing society's interactions with the world. I am allowed to use my freedom of speech in the way I did. The employee should not be giving a paying customer any attitude or negative energy back, even if the customer is upset and showing outwardly rude behavior. It is completely unprofessional for an employee to behave the way the company's employee behaved to me multiple times. Professionalism and treating customers with respect is apart of any customer service job. Boss did and will do nothing about the scratch on my car's driver side mirror. Also, be aware your $25,000 vehicle could be dropped crooked between two wrecked, air bag deployed, glass busted out on the ground vehicles with no care about your car's exterior or brand new tires on broken glass. I am well aware I am at fault for parking in an improper spot, and should pay the fines for that violation. However, a paying customer who gives attitude once should not be met with attitude from that point on. Worst towing company of the year award goes to these twits. They damaged my vehicle while towing it. Yes you read that right. WHILE TOWING IT. The tow truck driver would not give his insurance and then fled the scene. I don't understand either. His job is to tow cars and he doesn't know how to do that why would you hire him? I then speak with a supervisor Matt and this guy sucks. Right of the bat he's hitting me with the "well it's impossible that could happen because a tow truck backs into the car and lifts it up." Is this guy hearing himself? That's what happened. The tow truck driver backed way too far and smashed into the car. Anyway it doesn't matter the police reports are filed and luckily a neighbor who can never mind her own business got it on video but thank god. Also this Matt guy is terrible. Very poor company I brought up the fact multiple times to multiple different people including the owner about him waving around rifles shotguns etc. during business hours company did nothing about it so I got an attitude about it because they were not taking the proper actions this kid was kicked off of AAA for Saying he wished him he would come running out him on tow because he would shoot them in the head nothing was done about that comment besides AAA blacklist him for three months the owner tried saying the kid has a permit on Google for the gun which he does not have a permit for I have talked to many customers that have said they do not want this kid working on their vehicles, they dump coolant down drains with no filters which is illegal with OSHA which I am already in contact with, I turned my keys in before I left I then received a text message saying that I was not gonna get my paycheck until I took the picture down which is illegal and why would I have to take the picture down if he had a permit for it? The company is only out to get their self I cannot tell how many vehicles I have fixed because the company fucked up someone's vehicle on a tow and they try to cover it up or they do a repo and they break a customers vehicle and they try to say they didn't very very unprofessional company the gentleman also owns raise Cohen in Toledo stay as far away from them as possible they are only out to fuck you over. read more

worst tow driver ever. He was upset that I stayed with my car being towed to the repair shop after breaking down on the highway ( I rode in his truck ). He said nothing for the 30min tow and blasted his heavy metal for the entire trip. After going as far from the business as possible (but still in the parking lot, he put the car in the middle of the main passage instead of a parking spot. When I asked his name, he flatly refused. "I refuse to give you that information, Sir." I called their main phone number and the dispatcher also refused to tell me the drivers name or ID number and told me to call AAA, since they sent him to me and the dispatch has so many trucks and drivers, he had no way to know who the driver was or which truck was dispatched. I took pics of the drivers truck, his face, and his license number. I called AAA (they sent him) and they also refused to tell me his name or his ID number. they all pushed me off and expected me to wait 3-5 business days for anyone to call or talk to me about my complaint, so here I am........trying to find anyone that cares about the worst tow truck driver ever (AAA for 30yrs) read more

Saved the day!!! We were on a holiday road trip when my serpentine belt snapped and left me stuck on the side of I-75. We had a 10 hour drive ahead of us and this mishap had the potential to make life difficult for the next 24 hours. Called AAA and these folks responded. Their tow driver was super nice and let us take my dog in the cabin of the truck. He offered to take me to their shop and I agreed. We got there and the front office ladies where so friendly, also inviting my dog to wait with us. They say dogs are a good judge of character and mine adored this crew. The mechanic told me the issue and we spoke about possible remedies. He was open to my input and feedback. Ultimately, he got me back on the road after only an hour and helped me avoid spending my holiday budget on parts I didn't want to replace. I am appreciative of their engaging staff, willingness to work with me, and speed of service. We got to our travel destination that same day in time for dinner! read more

Unbelievable. Have you ever been called a fag by a tow truck driver? I never had before tonight. I drive a friend out to get his car picked up. When it took a second to say goodbye, the tow truck driver said, "hurry up or I'll call the cops to get you off my property." I promptly pulled out my phone to document the rest of the exchange. They minded their business until I put my phone away and then said, "that's right faggot!" There was no cause to be rude and confrontational. Long story ahead... This morning my car was towed from my boyfriends apartment complex by Wright Tire & Auto LLC in Bowling Green I had talked to the landlord at the beginning of the semester and asked that if I were to park there overnight, what time would my car need to be out of the parking lot to avoid being towed. I was told from the landlord company that they enforce parking M-F from 9-5. My car was towed this morning and when I went to pick it up & pay my 96 dollar fee, I found out that the towing company wrongfully towed my car at 8:50am.. ten minutes before they were allowed to. It states that time clearly on the invoice I was given. I called them after the fact to let them know this and after they "looked into the situation," I was informed that the driver put the time in wrong and my car was "actually" towed at 9:10. I texted my mom after I found out my car was towed at 9:09 (seems a little fishy that my car was apparently towed at 9:10) I don't see how it is my fault that the time was put into the system wrong and it seems to me that all they are doing is lying to a 23 year old so they don't have to refund me for a wrongful tow. The landlord company told me there is nothing they can do to help me because I would have to take it up with the towing company. Not to mention, they were incredibly rude to me and the only amount of proof they can give to me is when the GPS apparently "left the parking lot" after 9am. The worker I spoke to, Brock told me he was done arguing with me because no matter what, I wasn't getting my money back. He treated me terribly. I am so frustrated by all of the lies here, I am frustrated by how I was treated and I'm frustrated that I paid 100 bucks for something that they did wrong. The service desk lady was nice, however I had car troubles a few months ago and called Wright because they were local. I got towing service, and fixed in their Bowling Green shop. My car shut down while driving it and wouldnt start. They took it in and said it could be a vast number of things. I told them to do the bare minimum and see if they could get it running and to call me. I didnt hear from them the rest of the day, called the next day and they did ALL THE WORK without my say so! Replaced a water pump, serpentine belt, sensors, an oil change, and filled my coolant. I DID NOT give them the "ok" to do all of this work and they charged me over $800 for repairs I was NOT ok with!! I had to take it to another shop 2 days after it was at their shop!! I parked at my friends apartment not even 10 mins to pick her up to go to the gym. I got to her apartment around 12 my car was towed by 12:03. I was walking out as they were towing my car. I had my vehicle back by 12:17. The women at the front desk said she had no sympathy for me that there was a sign clearly stated that I cannot park there in a parking lot to my friends apartment. Of course we will willing to pay to get it out, anyways, I was charged $100 and then figured out that they charged AAA for one of my tows. They double dipped. Traveling from Columbus to Torch Lake we got a flat on our boat trailer. Put the spare on then Stopped by Wright Tire & Auto to get a new spare just in case. They popped a new tire on our spare rim and sent us on our way in about 15 minutes. Staff was friendly and we loved the fact we were back on the road so fast. To have a clean and nice building they sure do have some very unfriendly and unprofessional individuals working and running the place. My friend's car got towed the day after my graduation by this towing company in the overflow lot of my apartment complex. Taking full responsibility for the car being parked there overnight I call the number on the sign and simply ask him what do we have to do to get the car back. The man said it will be $96.00 (sign says $90 but the other $6 was for taxes). I told him that's fine and that we were on our way to the auto building at the moment. He mentioned that he has to call one of his guys to let him know. We waited for twenty minutes and did not receive a call so we called them back. They man replied "I told you I'll call you back." After finally receiving a call back he said his guy will meet us there. From my apartment it only takes about 8 minutes to get there. When we arrived, we waited for a while to give him some time to get there (taking into consideration that it was Sat. and traffic may be crazy). Twenty minutes passed by so we decided to call and ask for an estimate time of when the guy will be there. The man says he'll give him a call to see and call us back, but he never did. When we called back this time after waiting for a while someone else answered and said they had no clue wait were talking about, but he'll ask somebody to see when the guy is suppose to come out and give us a call back. Keep in mind 40 minutes has passed by and were waiting at the building for somebody to call back and give us a answer (they never did). We remained calmed and call the number back (No one answered). We called back again. This time the original man answered but stated and I quote, "You guys are calling this number too much." We replied, "if someone would actually call us back we wouldn't be calling this number numerous times." After that incident the guy we have been waiting on finally arrives to the building. He didn't greet us with a "Hi" or anything. We give him all the information he needs and when I'm ready to pay he then tells me "NO CARD, cash only". I told him not once did they mention I had to pay in cash. Come to find out, the guy that met us there was actually the guy we talked to over the phone because he said, "I told you cash" (In reality he really didn't). After this miscommunication I told him that's fine we will go to the ATM to get cash. We asked him how long will he still be at the building and he replied, "for another ten minutes." We told him okay, and that we'll be back soon. We hurried to go get cash, went back to the auto building, and the man was GONE. Lights were off and everything. We only took ten minutes and were shock that he left after we told him we'll be back. Calling the number again a lady picks up and informs us that he had to go on a "PD" call and someone should be out in fifteen minutes. That fifteen minutes turned into thirty until someone actually arrived. After this entire incident not once did someone apologize to us! We were trying to maintain our professionalism with them because they had what we needed. Not once did we cuss them out, yell at them for sending us on a wild goose chase over the phone, etc. We were ready to pay them the $96.00 because all we wanted was the car! Yet, they must of not wanted to be bothered that day and it clearly showed through their actions. If you're going to run any business you should ALWAYS inform the customer what's going on. In addition to, controlling your temper. According to them we were calling that number to many times BUT no one was even calling us back. It took us about a hour and a half for us to get the car back and majority of the time we were waiting outside the building for someone to come. At the end of the day, professionalism is key no matter what!!!!! Even though the car was towed, we should get the same amount of respect as someone getting their car worked on.
