I got a flat tire over the weekend. I went to Tuffy and they said the hole was too close to the side wall and that I'd need a new tire, and they recommended going to Discount Tire. Once I got to Discount Tire inside of buying a new tire (Lukas) said lets go take a look at it. He took one look at it and said Tuffy is stupid, the hole is not to close to the side wall. They were able to get me patched up and a tire rotation in less than 60 minutes, probably 45. I don't usually do reviews but this place deserved one. I really wanted to give this place a great review, but: 1) When I left, they didn't set all my tires to the same pressure 2) Tyler spent a lot of time trying to convince me to use a Discount Tire location about an hour from my home Was on the road and had a leaking tire which needed fixed. Got in to this DT at the last minute and even arrived 10 minutes after they were supposed to close. The problem was a leaking valve stem which was obviously caused by Monro in Mt. Pleasant, PA who installed the new tires. They got my truck in and fixed the leaking valve stem under warranty service since the tires had been installed in June 2023. Had a long discussion with Tyler about where to set the pressure - why they used the pressure on the door instead of the recommended pressure on the specs shown by Tire Rack, where I purchased the tires. He convince me we should use the pressure on the door - fine. Walked out, got in my truck, turned it on and only the repaired tire was set to the pressure indicated on the door. Now after such a long and detailed discussion about tire pressure, you'd think a tire shop would set all the tires to the same pressure. Well, they didn't, so this service visit, while it fixed my immediate problem was a FAIL because it left me with the problem of having to set the other three tires to a lower pressure. I liked the place the first time I went but now. I will take my car anywhere else, first appointment setup. I came in and stood there for 20 minutes without even someone greeting me or saying hey will be with you nothing when I finally gave up and left there was a line of people behind to the door. I came back since the rotations are free if you bought your tires here only reason they got a second chance. This time I am great they take my key and say it will be about 45 minutes okay no big deal. It took them 2 hours over the 45 minutes and I told them two of my tires are low on air they said no big deal that's part of their check. Sure as shit my tires are still low on air thinking it may take a bit for sensors to reset but nope. On top of that I saw my co-worker there getting tires he already ordered the prior week installed, and he said he was there for over four hours. So I won't be back and I will be telling my family and friends to stay far away if they value their time and actually want the checks done. read more

I happened to get a flat tire this past weekend and was only able to pull into the neighboring parking lot. I had my young daughter with me and walked over (within 100yds) to see if someone could help put some air in my tire or change it out to the donut. I thought that this literally couldn't have happened to me at a better location. Unfortunately, I was refused and was told to get a tow or drive it over there and risk ruining my rim. I understand legalities, but I also understand that there was a building full of capable humans who could've helped and spent 5 minutes to get me up and going. Kindness goes a long way. I know these guys have wives and daughters like me and would like someone to help them if they were in a bind. Fortunately for me, I need new tires, but won't be getting them from a Discount Tire location. read more

Initially, service was good. They got me right in and communicated well during tire installation. Problem arose after I got the care and noticed damage to 2 of my wheel rims. I just bought the car in June and the wheel rims were completely refurbished and painted to new OEM specs. Somehow during tire installation they rubbed the paint off of the wheels. When I spoke to the manager about it, he totally blew me off and said it could not have happened at his store and said it was a defect of the dealership. He told me to have the dealership redo the wheels. My only option is to I now have to pay out of pocket to have the wheels repainted. The wheels were in perfect condition before I took the car to Discount Tire. I would never recomment nor use them again in the future. read more

Took some slightly used tire in to have them installed. These were take offs that I purchased online from Champ Tire. They had very low milage and in good shape. Luke refused to install them. Said they (all four tires) had a liner crack. He performed the inspection at night in the parking lot - he must have good eyes. The shop I took the tires to next also performed an inspection and said there was nothing wrong with them. They installed them. They run great. Was Luke trying to sell me new tires? I went to Discount Tire on a Wednesday at 12:30. I was buying 4 tires for ~$1000. I was told they could have ot done by 1:55-2:00. I walked to some nearby businesses to kill time. I came back at 1:45 and my car hadn't moved. I waited ten minutes until someone was available to help me. I calmly stated the issue and asked for my keys back. They said they would get my car right in. I said I had other things to do. They asked if I wanted to make an appt. I said no, that I was going to go somewhere else. I asked for my keys and said thank you. They didn't even say sorry for the mix up. I was polite, respectful and never raised my voice. *Rossford location* Over Christmas Eve weekend one of my tires was rapidly losing air. I wasn't positive as to why, but I suspected a nail was the cause. After 2 days, and a seemingly endless amount of quarters airing it up at gas stations I called Discount Tire to see if they could help. Not only did they fit me in to their already packed schedule they repaired my tire (it was a nail) free of charge. I did have to wait a couple hours but to me it was a small price to pay for the wonderful service I received. read more

I had a nail in my tire, got a quick appointment. I was going to get a whole new tire, but was told my tire is almost new. They would seal and patch it and it's guaranteed for the life of the tire. When I asked how much it was free. I expected to be taken advantage of, but I was pleasantly surprised. So happy I chose this place. If you have an RV and are coming here for tire service, think twice and make sure there's not another RV being serviced at or before your appointment time as they can apparently only handle one at a time and if something goes awry with the previous appointment you'll be screwed. read more

Midas did not give us our quoted price and then they would not even give us the same quote on a comparable tire!! Not only did Discount Tire give us the price quote that Midas offered, but on better tires!!! Not that is how you win loyal customers. I've been unlucky with nails and such going into my tires (crappy toledo roads, which I did not buy here, but would in the future). This place has free flat/tire repair and has patched my tires on multiple occasions. Even took the tire off the rim and tried to get some of the corrosion off the rim/wheel which leaks air over time due to not 100% seal. (happens to all rims/wheels eventually) Great service and free repairs & free rotation! Always informed me about current tread depth. Like others said have bought tires here on one of our cars. Yet the honor the free repairs and rotation on all of are cars. To me when buying tires here they offered suggestions on which they recommend and no not always the most expensive. Yet provide options in a few price range. Biggest thing I like its always given as "out the door cost". Not giving you a price then at check out add on other fee's. 1 other time I picked up a nail and was losing air fast even though they were locking up, the stayed to patch it and check air on others. 45 minutes later they could finally lock the door once I was done, total cost 0.00. read more

Waited over 2 hours for tires to be put on and they broke my TPM sensor and said " don' t worry we wont charge you , we replaced it with a generic sensor " ,So now they replace my OEM sensor for a cheap generic one and offered not other discounts to make up the difference , so when I have to get it replace when it goes bad , I'm sure ill get fully charged. .I left discount tire for belle tire, I guess I'm going back to discount tire. cost a little more but better service every time. read more

This place sucks. Rotated my tires every 6,000 miles like i was told was told they have a warrenty when i bought them. Every time took my tires to be rotated they through off my alignment so I had to pay somewhere else to fix it. After telling them my car was pulling real bad after they rotated my tires they made up some story saying I needed a new rim so I bought one from them didn't fix the problem. Go back and have alignment done again and come to find out my tires were unbalanced from discount tire messed up two of my tires so I had to buy two more tires from them cause they wore on the inside and after three tire rotations they never caught it. I took it to get aligned and that is the place who caught it. Discount tire don't want to make this better they said I should get my Monet back from other place. I just had my wheels aligned and was driving great took to discount tire to get new tires and my alignment is all messed up again. Discount tire trying to blame on someone else. Please go somewhere else this place sucks and they have no idea what they are doing. They just want to keep charging people more and more money that don't even fix the problem. read more
