I feel like I got judged and discriminated against today by the owner Mark. First time I met him was today. I inquired about tarped wood sitting in the parking lot. Rather than helping me, he seemed more interested in removing wood that he wanted to plane and sell and I was a distraction to his newly found treasure. As we were walking to go back in the store, he basically dismissed me. "Okay, thanks for stopping by." He literally stood in front of the door. I said, "I am sorry, did you assume I was not going to purchase the wood we looked at or look at anything else?" This was very insulting... He said, "that wood is very expensive. This comment alone told me that he judged me as someone who couldn't afford what I was looking at. Bad news for you is that I can afford it and your discrimination doesn't deserve a penny from me. Owner (Mark) don't bother responding. A response from you will never convince me that you don't discriminate. BTW: This place is way overpriced! Some of the stuff looks like garbage picked up off the side of the road.

Layers of tile on top of linoleum on top of tile had been installed in the kitchen. Marvin Ashburn refinished my original hardwood kitchen floors to their former GLORY!! Marvin is a true artist, he loves wood and works magic with a sander. He's reliable, a rare character trait in a tradesmen but he actually arrives when he is scheduled and finishes when scheduled. He's extremely knowledgeable, which is most helpful when deciding timing of refinishing given variations in temperature and humidity in our area. He's also fair and worth every penny you'll spend. I highly recommend Marvin and would hire him any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

They were amazing and did everything from repairing defects, re-mortaring the chimney, getting the old vines sanded off, re-glazing the windows; there was nothing they could not do! The answer was always YES! They were efficient, reasonable, talented, polite, honest, hard working, respectful. The property was cleaned up daily. They finished way before I anticipated despite rain. I will never use anyone else. I cannot wait for him to do my house and the rest of the rentals. My only reservation on recommending them is they will be too busy to get me on the schedule again lol

This fellow is terrific. Can do just about anything and superbly too. Robert (ably supported by his son) fixed two gates that had not been working properly, assembled a chair, TV stand, and birdbath, got our old TV working properly again, affixed two large mirrors and a clock to the walls, and precisely measured, placed our pictures and artwork throughout our new home. He's intelligent, professional, super kind and understanding, and charges an acceptable amount. Can't say enough about Robert other than we're glad he's out there because we know we'll need, want to use him again! In fact, we just thought of two things.
