I love this bunnings, it's pretty local and they have a good large carpark with exposed and undercover parking. I also find the staff here to be extremely friendly and helpful as well as always willing to share their knowledge if you ask. I think the reason why I love this branch so much is that I always used to come here with my Dad, so I associate it with him and his DIY successes. Here they have a really good selection of chain which I often use as jewellery or in photo shoots. I love the tacky knick knack objects that are always stocked here too, for example in their gifts section they have oversized tennis balls and remote control cars, I also found a beautiful cherry blossom led light which I love and is displayed in my room.

The range is sometimes a bit limited, for instance the power tools and the staff often don't know anything about the products. I have an account here and often times the discounted price is less than 1% off. I prefer shopping at Mitre 10 as this store is pretty good as far as Bunnings go but still not as clean and organised as Mitre 10. The returns policy is well implemented here, they don't even ask you why you are returning anything!

It was incredibly loud, so I wouldn't suggest using if for film in future, but Hiretown were more than happy to lend it to us over the whole weekend. They didn't charge us for Sunday, because they weren't open to take it back. It was very kind and forthcoming of them. It's filled with useful things to hire for your next event, tools for your garden, or trailers for your move.

It…read morehas a bit of an awkward entrance at the moment, though I think this might be temporary becouse it is undergoing construction or something like that. At this mega store you can get absolutely everything that you need for your home. If you are wanting to build, repair, restore or create something for the home or even garden then you can get everything you need here. And becouse this store is fairly new it means that their product range is very current, and that they are offering the newest of everything that Mitre 10 has available. The staff are very friendly and efficient, they will let you be on your way but are always on your case to see if you are all sorted for what you came in for, not in a pushy way though which is nice.

Last week I took my mountain bike in for a quote on getting the gear cable replaced and refitted,…read morethe staff at the time quoted me $25. On tuesday I took my mountain bike in to have the torned gear cable replaced and refitted. The owner provided me a new quote of $33. I advised him of the previous quote agreement that was provided to me but unfortunately he refused to honour it. I went along with the repair job anyway. I then was set with the expectation by the owner that it 'shouldn't take' long for the repair job to be completed. Today (Three days later) I went back to check for progress as I had not received any communication from them despite me providing them with my mobile number. Unfortunately it appears that the repairs had not even begun yet... The owner advises it would be completed within an hour time which thankfully he honoured his words this time around. When it was time for payment I politely asked the owner why it took so long for the repair to be completed, his reponse was 'there is a queue'. I didn't even get a thank you or an apology. I think I was the one who thanked him. He did do a pretty good decent job on the repairs though. He also allowed me to use their air pump to inflat my tyres free of charge which is nice I guess. Just some constructive feedback for the business: 1. It would had been nice to show some empathy towards your customers. 2. It would of been nice if you do honour a reasonable quote set by your staff previously even if you believe the quote provided to me were incorrect. It's not the customer's fault that they were misquoted. 3. Communication: Keep the customer in the loop of the progress especially if the job has to be delayed if the expectation you previously set cannot be met. 4. Apologise to your customers for unexpected delays. It's not hard to say sorry and a thank you. Your customers would appreciate you more and give you more respect. 5. Improve your customer service skills would be good. People who actually have a good experience with you would most likely come back for returned business. I hope others would get a far better experience than I did at Mt Albert Cycles and Mowers. Rating : 5/10

Current crew I've dealt with here however are great, and all machinery has been fixed or serviced on time. Staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I'll Stihl be coming back in the future...

I'm told guys go nuts for this place but I just don't get it…read more... Bunnings is a one-stop shop. It's housed in a HUGE warehouse where they have everything from heated towel rails to outdoor ovens to 2x4. It would be an absolute haven for DIYers but to me it just looks like a whole lot of work! Leave that stuff to the professionals, I say.... Despite my indifference to hardware and power tools, the service at Bunnings is exemplary. They have a "greeter" at the door and staff spotted around the store to help point you in the right direction, which is just as well given the size of the place. I'd imagine a place like Bunnings would be quite stressful to someone like a first home buyer so it's comforting that their staff have warm smiles and can-do attitudes. If have to make a trip to Bunnings, I suggest you do the following two things to make your trip infinitely more enjoyable: 1) Go in the weekend and take coins. There's a sausage sizzle out front that, trust me, you don't want to miss. 2) Dress warm, like scarves and hats and maybe even gloves warm. This is place an ice box in winter.
