Came home and found out that Rove has at least two different designed pens, and I got the wrong cartridge. Went back to get an exchange but was told since I opened it I couldn't. Great...how was I supposed to know there was two different designs? I had to buy another pen for $12 and had to use the ATM which charged me $3. $15 down the drain because they didn't do their job. I could have complained and asked for the manager, but guess what? I took care of my boys the previous night, worked 12 straight hours, and getting reamed from every possible chance life throws at me. You think I have the energy to do that? When I arrivef, the seller confirmed and said I could stack the deal and get two for the same price each. I wanted to spend the savings in other products so I shopped around. My wife ends up getting something for herself too and I make the purchase on one transaction to avoid extra fees so I didn't bat an eye on pricing at that time. When I got home I looked at the receipt and noticed that the $22 bag was had not been discounted, and was charged full price (save a generic daily discount they had going on). I didn't notice if there was a first time customer discount available either, but if there was it also wasn't applied. My experience otherwise was great, the options were very good and they had hard to find items. The atmosphere on the other shops on rest of the lot seemed very good too. I would've liked to come back. Unfortunately, having me pay nearly double the price than I intended to was very unpleasing.

Based on the advertised promotions, I wanted to purchase three of the $35 Sunday specials and one regular-priced item that was $30, which should have been discounted to $15 with the first-time customer offer. By my calculations, my total should have been around $120. The budtender, Aliyah, explained that the first-time customer discount couldn't be combined with another promotion in the same transaction. However, she assured me that she knew how to structure the purchase to give me the best possible deal. Trusting her, I completed the transaction, only to be charged $155. After leaving and thinking about the total, I realized something wasn't right and returned to the store. Another budtender refunded me $15, but I still ended up paying more than I should have because I never received the first-time customer discount. Had the purchase simply been split into two transactions as done in the past with other customers--a solution I've also experienced at other dispensaries--I could have received both promotions while staying within the store's policies. What disappointed me most wasn't just the price but the customer service. As a first-time customer, I expected a smooth and transparent experience. Instead, I felt misled after being assured I was receiving the best possible deal. With so many dispensaries in the Valley, customers look for three things: quality products, competitive prices, and knowledgeable, customer-focused budtenders. Unfortunately, this experience missed the mark on the service aspect. I hope this feedback helps the business improve its customer experience and encourages new customers to ask questions before completing their purchase.
