I go to different catalyst locations. Mostly mid city and silver lake. Yesterday was my first time going to this location and they sold me a fake pen. It was the house brand Cat4 or whatever. I usually always get these and there's never an issue. This time there was a cheap big, ugly sticker instead of the brand printed on the vape. It only worked a couple hours and now doesn't work AT ALL and it's full. Don't trust this location. read more

I usually have the best time coming here, despite all my friends and/or family members who haven't had a great experience, I don't go to any other dispensaries besides catalyst, but today I just didn't have a great interaction. My bud tender Paige was honestly kinda rude and seemed to have an attitude of "I don't want to be here helping you". If you don't want work, don't come to work lol. She was supper unhelpful when I asked about why I didn't get change back, and made it almost seem like I was being cheap about asking the question? Everytime I purchase something I always get change, so I just wondered why this time I didn't, she didn't seem to have the patients and just said "it rounds up" and walked away from me. Will never go back to this place again. I've been there over 50 times probably. They see me once a week or more. I go there one day. I lose my license. I even have a valid paper license. They don't let me go in. So I tell them if that's true, I won't come back. They said that's fine. So I'm letting everyone know, I'm not going back and neither should you. This place treats you without respect or personalized. They see you many times, and don't even know who you are? So if that's the kind of place you want, go to this place. I for one will be promoting and visiting places that don't treat you like you don't matter or exist to them when it matters. My favorite shop in the area! Big show room, cool budtenders & security, great selection for every budget. I always leave satisfied with my purchase! They have awesome deals but tbh it's the hospitality that makes me feel welcome-they don't try to push sales like sleazy car sales people. THEIR CARTS SUCK!!! Save your money. Several of their carts have broken and leaked all over my pocket and they refused to do anything about it, they won't even let you exchange them. This shop is the worst. Don't waste your time. I bought 3 study pods and baby jitters from them 3 weeks ago. I never put the pod in my stizzy battery and it did not work. I opened up the second pod and it still did not work. I did not know that the pods can be bad so I went back in to buy a new battery yesterday. I tried both pods again and they still did not work. I called today to see if there's anything they can do for me. They basically told me they wouldn't be able to replace the battery since they know it's the pods and they can't replace the pods because it's been over a week bad customer service. Lowkey always really good friendly help every single time I go, and I go about once usually. The store usually has 25% off going on but they also have some really good deals that come and go that help me make new choices and try new things! I've tried like 5 different brands since coming here and have loved every single thing! The only downside is just the parkings a bit tight but besides that it's literally my favorite shop in all of SFV and I drive from Castaic to come down here! I spoke with Emmanuel the manager Not only was he disrespectful and rude Dude doesn't know how to do his own job. Refused to hear me out when I'm trying to be polite and non confrontational. I just wanted to ask when their time change happened cause I've purchased at catalyst before 10pm closing time. Never have I been treated like this at any other catalyst location. This guy on top of being rude tells me to "pull up" when he was confronted about being rude and disrespectful. Is this the kind of social skills you guys require when hiring? Also the front desk girls were kind they let me email my medi card to them instead of having to carry it on me. Came here the second time based off their live weedmaps menu. Show up & what I want is not available for another WEEK because not enough employees and told they have no control over the menu. Then tell me to call before I visit, like it's my fault. What is the point of a live menu then and it would still be a problem to show something on the menu that is not available regardless if I called beforehand. Waste of time, despite the club being very nice and friendly staff, then considering how many locations this chain has, this type of issue and excuse is a bad taste in the mouth. Would rather go to a reputable club whose live menu I can TRUST & not have to call before each visit, absolutely ridiculous read more
