Honest review here, from a customer who came to a WSS store for the first time--and will NEVER return to their branch here in Palmdale EVER AGAIN!!! The manager is useless . I was returning a pair after just 6 days (with receipt, the barcode tag and shoebox), because trying the shoes gave me feet pain. He decided it wasn't in its "original" condition even if there was no damage and had only been used ONCE. I think he saw some dust and freaked out #eyeroll ...Yeah, this is how ridiculous this place is! I mean, how was I suppose to know the shoes would hurt me after being in it if I never walked in it?? Did that dude expect me to return them within the same week of it just sitting on a shelf at home?! That's asinine! Luckily tho, I was able to return the item to their Lancaster store, thanks to Scott! So, WSS Corporate, if you're reading this, you did something right by hiring that man! He was welcoming, easy to communicate with and dealt with the matter at hand like a pro! Couldn't have asked for a better service. This store is absolutely horrible! They falsely accused me and my mother of being someone who has stolen in their store before. The district manager was only able to apologize for his employees ignorance and for making a huge scene when they were wrong. Sandra is the biggest POS there she's a assistant manager who thinks she can talk like a "chola" and try and be intimidating but looked very stupid when her accusations were found to be 100% wrong. The manager Maria was very sorry that Sandra and Nick C. Attempted to humiliate us with fake accusations. After being unsuccessful they wouldn't even come out of the back because they felt stupid for being wrong. They treated in elderly women like crap who is a productive educator in this community absolutely horrible. The district manager Moises Jaimes could only say sorry and that they be dealt with because they are only allow to do this if they are 100% sure they are the correct person's they are doing that too. I went to go buy a pair of shoes here spend $80 on them, I noticed when I got into my car one was broken on the sole. When I got the shoes it was 8:50 pm near closing time. When I noticed they were broken I went back to the store and it was 3 minutes past their closing time. I saw the employees in the front and they asked what I needed. I told them the shoes I grabbed had a broken sole and I was hoping they can trade them out for me real quick. It's not that hard to go grab another pair just like it and switch it out! But they declined to do it and told me to come back in the morning. I come here pay $80 for a pair of shoes and the employee can't do me the simple courtesy of changing out my shoes so I don't have to waste my gas money and my time on a hour that I work to come and change out my shoes because it's 3 minutes past closing time. They arent walking out the door until 9:15 anyway so what's so bad to stop joking and talking in the front and change my shoes out. read more

The shoe selection is alright. They don't really have a big enough range of sizes and style's especially for the woman's selection. As for staff they're always helpful and make sure I get what I need read more

This place is an convenient place for shoes do to the hours open and location. But they don't carry all sizes especially the popular ones run out fast. There's a security guard and feels like your being watched the whole time. So it makes me feel uneasy. There was no one on the sales floor so basically your on your own. read more

Everyone was really nice in there. The store was super clean and organized. There was even a person cleaning after people recklessly left a bunch of shoes on the floor and wrappers thrown around. I honestly thought it was a great store. I bought two shoes at such amazing prices. I'm definitely coming back here to buy more shoes in the future. My sister bought her shoes here as well, and she was very happy with her purchase. I think this is definitely an underrated store. Loved it! read more

Place sucks , advertise they such a wide selection of shoes but once you go in they don't even have a consistency of shoe sizes , damn joke.

I was extremely disappointed at this WSS. I purchased a groupon which I have done many times and used at WSS all over LA County. Sadly, my groupon expired so I gave it to my daughter to use for it's original value ($15). When she went in, someone by the name of Victor who called himself a "manager", bullied her into purchasing $45 worth of merchandise or he would not let her use the $15. I was livid so I drove back here and spoke to someone very helpful by the name of Marco who was able to reach a DM and refund my daughter her money. I gave one star because Marco was actually able to help me, if not - I would be looking for a way to give this place 0 stars because even after I left, I called to complain about "Victor" and never received a call back from the DM. I shop at WSS all the time because you can't beat their deals, but I will never go back to this one and deal with a crook who is put in a position of power. read more
