The entrance to the park was well marked and had a sign by the drive in indicating it was Saghalie Park. The parking lot was decent sized and easy to maneuver in my compact vehicle. There was a worker out and about picking up trash/performing general maintenance. I found a number of different sport areas including a sandy area with a volleyball net. Thought that was cool, a city version of beach volleyball next to a running track that was even equipped with space for straightway sprints. A few other visitors were present on my visit and everyone kept to themselves/their group. Bleacher(s) around the track provided a place to sit if one wanted. The surface of the track was a softer material with lines/lanes marked.

I see a few negative reviews about the fees and public resources. This Is a Private School and any school has its own regulations with both pros and cons. Please carefully select your school before enrolling. I also experienced course registration issues. I was so frustrated! Yet, I'm sure that would also happen with any schools, especially when many of the office employers are actually students who are also trying to learn. We all experience different situations and we grow from these stories in our lives. Everything here is pretty much walking distance. The book store was just re-located to the other end from her dorm. It's a little farther now but you get used to the walk eventually. Students have their own parking structure where you got to pass through a guard shack first to get in. Right below that is the field, very nice and modern. They have a nice cafeteria. They also have a laundromat in the basement and a convenient store that sells pretty much everything the students need. From her dorm room on a clear day you can see Mt. Rainier and pretty much everything. I am so glad I had the opportunity to checkout the school my daughter's attending. I feel safe for her in knowing that transportation getting around is easy with so many different options. I recommend this school for any student attending college.

It's a nice sized campus for a community college as well. Lot's of parking if you get there before 8:30am. If you are there for more than 2 hours, don't park in the visitor spots that say 2 hours. People apparently are abusing those spaces. You can get a visitors pass from someone in many of their offices for the day so use a regular space in that case. I've heard they had 3 vehicle break-ins in less than 2 months of my posting this review and was informed the best monitored lot is 'G'. So, that is where I parked and it turns out to be closest to the building I needed anyway. Lucky me. I read that if people choose to go to shool here that it's hard to get classes. The key is to do everything on-line as soon as they allow. If you snooze you lose and that goes for 4 year institutions as well. So if you don't know..that's the norm. Don't even wait an hour after the lines open for registration. There will always be those who will be willing to be there before you and then remember to prioritize the classes you take the the absolute hardest ones to obtain first. You will know what I mean when you get started with trying to register each quarter. You'll figure it out. I'm not a student anymore, but I'm speaking from remembering my experience. Good luck!

I honestly plan on reporting the school to multiple agencies for discriminatory behavior among other issues! If I were you, I would choose a different school and save yourself the migraines and heartache!

We love this park!…read more Parking is along the street just outside of the park. There are a few different play structures, a field, a walking track, and some basketball hoops. Picnic tables are in the sun and shade. My 3 year old likes the play house (we bring kitchen toys from home so she can "make" food using wood chips and imagination). All the structures are in good shape. The bigger ones keep my older kid occupied for a bit. Only real downside is the lack of bathroom. We like to come here with some snacks and stay about an hour. I like that it's pretty quiet and easy to keep an eye on kids.

Garfield Park is right by the Annie Wright school in what I believe is in the Stadium District. There is a nice circle of sidewalk around the park so you can go on a nice jog, a big enough field to play ball in and playground equipment for the kids. There is a huge loop for joggers and strollers and inside the loop is a huge grassy area for picnics and folks with dogs. The two parts of the park are separated by a set of stairs. Near the public restrooms near the playground is Noah's Butterfly Garden which is a cute little section. I've always driven by this park but have never visited until now, and I might have to continue coming back because it's very nice.

This stadium features a U-shaped design and located right on the shores of Lake Washington. We've attended numerous Husky games have always had a great time. Staff members are cheerful and friendly. Concession stand prices are astronomical, which is to be expected. They do have a solid selection beverages and food. Tailgating and sailgating are time honored tradition at Husky stadium given the promixity to Lake Washington. Getting to the games is now easier with the light rail stop directly outside the stadium. Both Metro and Sound Transit have bus routes near the stadium. The most common strategy is to drive and park near or on University Avenue and walk through the UW campus. This stadium is convenient and a ton of fun.
