He took the time and care to loosen up the tight muscles in my back with massage and biofreeze before adjusting, which is something that's always important to me. Nobody likes getting adjusted with cold, tight muscles (it hurts!). After treatment, there was no pressure to sign up for a long-term treatment plan, and their sessions are 'fee per visit' style so don't worry about getting locked into monthly recurring payments. I schedule regular maintenance appointments every few weeks, but every time I've needed to get in immediately (due to a fall or sleeping wrong, etc...), Dr. Chris and his team have ALWAYS welcomed me with open arms. From the staff at the front desk (shoutout to Sydney and Kim), to my absolute favorite warmup/rehab exercise dude (JOSH!!!), Atlanta Spine and Wellness is like the Cheers of chiropractic. Not only are they friendly, but they address all of my concerns with a clinical (and somehow personal) approach. Dr. Chris has helped my spine SO much. When I have questions, he breaks it down to explain as detailed or high level as I want. He has given me exercises to improve my posture, and countless product recommendations to improve my quality of life outside the office. They periodically host small holiday parties and giveaways (things like massages!!) with raffle tickets every time you come in for a visit. I first went to Dr. Crystal for her to treat my four-year-old son who had woken up screaming in pain from torticollis. Dr. Crystal was very responsive to my calls and texts and was able to fit us into her schedule. She was able to work on him, even with him being in acute pain, and after she adjusted him and worked on his inflamed neck muscles his recovery began and he was well soon after! Next, my husband went to see Dr. Crystal after a cross-fit injury and about 2 months of pain, seeing a different chiropractor on and off without much improvement. After a single adjustment session with Dr. Crystal his back pain diminished significantly for the first time in months. Beginning this year we have started seeing Dr. Crystal on a monthly family plan. When we went in together, I was a little anxious about getting adjusted by her, simply because I am typically very tense and consider myself difficult to adjust. As for general wellness, I recently got a massage with their incredible massage therapist, Diana Coker. One session with her and I am a client for life. I have been recommending her to everyone I know because I feel like in a single session I got more from a massage with her than any of the massages I have had at Exhale, etc, where I paid much, much, much more. She has a brilliant understanding of anatomy, and she truly tailors your massage to what you / your muscles need. I told her about my sinus issues, and after she worked on my face I felt better than I have in a long, long time. The pressure was gone - and I could sigh with relief. I was so relaxed and joyous when I left, I made sessions for the remainder of the month and plan on making my appointments with here a regular thing.
